My mother has been living at Sunnyside for a couple of months now, after a hospital discharge. The staff are very friendly and understanding to her various needs. We are kept updated with concerns promptly and it is easy to communicate with staff and my mother. Sunnyside is clean, safe, homely, and the rooms are a good size.

Ali the manager is absolutely amazing. She is so hands on and is so caring to all the residents. She knows them all so well and the care in her eyes is so genuine. Yesterday I was talking to Ali when she saw a resident stand up in her socks. As Ali is always looking out for the care and safety of the residents she immediately jumped up and went over to protect her by standing right by her and asked a carer to please get her shoes. All the carers have so much respect for Ali too as she is such an awesome manager. My mum loves in it here because she always has such a laugh with Ali and the carers are so kind and attentive Ali even cares for residents when they have returned home after respite. The atmosphere thanks to Ali as the manager is so warm, caring and loving because Ali really does care and as its name suggests it is a care home-a home for residents who need care, love and attention because Ali makes sure on a daily basis that is what the residents get.

My mother has settled into Sunnyside following a bad fall last year. I have found all the staff very caring and attentive, and they are all so patient with my mum and the other residents. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are always very welcoming when I visit my mum, and I feel very reassured that she is well cared for. I always enjoy the visits as there is such a lovely atmosphere!

Sunnyside is a well managed, clean, caring and wonderful place. My mother is extremely well cared for. I would not want her to be anywhere else. All the staff are caring and knowledgeable. Sunnyside also has an excellent working relationship with local doctors and district nurses. I would recommend this place with no hesitation.

All staff at Arthurs Court under the great Leadersjip of Ali the Manager, showed consistent kindness care, compassion, total professionalism patience with the man who was no doubt as difficult in his final phase as he was in life. The staff are very friendly and there is a very warm atmosphere. Every member of staff is very helpful and kind. My mother was always clean and well looked after.

The food is great and plenty of choice. We visit every week and we are always offered a drink in the room that my sister-in-law is in and she is happy with the food and her room and she has a nice view.

My mother gets well looked after and is happy here. She loves the staff and she says the meals are good. Visiting is always easy and accessible. It’s very good that entertainers come in, she loves a sing song. Christmas was lovely. Cooking and other activities are always welcome. My mother is much happier now she has her own toilet facility.

My mum settled into Arthurs Court ready for Christmas 2020, continuing to enjoy the family of staff and residents through to this Christmas 2023 when she peacefully slipped away from this life. As one of four siblings we all agreed her new home offering social life and developing new friendships enabled her to be best cared for as dementia developed. Living close by meant we could see her and speak with staff frequently, reassured by the continuity and social events arranged. We really appreciated the regular calls to discuss personal aspects of care and explanations of medical support as her needs progressed through 2023. Overall the service and personal interest taken by staff in their residents have impressed, confident that her room will offer a great space for the next resident to enjoy their later years.

Sunnyside was a lovely home for the last four years of my granny's life. The care staff are kind, patient and considerate. Granny always used to say she was very well looked after and that the food was very nice. The facilities are of good quality with a nice lounge and a lovely garden, which granny enjoyed sitting in. Thank you to all the lovely people at Sunnyside over the last four years.

My stepmother was a resident at Arthurs Court Care Home from January 2023 to September, when she passed away. She was suffering from vascular dementia and required one-to-one care for 12 hours every day. I was deeply impressed by the high standard of care and training of the staff looking after all the individual residents. My stepmother was a difficult patient due to her dementia, the care was brilliant. I really can't thank the staff enough. Thank you so much.

My mum moved to Sunnyside only six weeks ago and already we see a positive change in her behaviour and mood. The staff are very caring and nothing is too much trouble.

My father spent the last four months of his life at Sunnyside. The staff worked very hard to help him settle in. They were very professional and friendly, providing a homely environment. He always praised the quality and volume of food. We particularly like the fact that the home was small enough for residents to get to know each other and the staff. My mother stayed at Sunnyside for the last few weeks of her precious life. I can honestly say I can't imagine a more perfect place for her. The manager and the staff were excellent, compassionate, gentle, flexible and loving - I can't speak highly enough about them. Once you meet the manager, you just know this is going to be a special place - her caring attitude is infectious, and her staff follow her lead. As mentioned before, I can't recommend Sunnyside highly enough.
