Mum has been at willow tree for a couple of years now and I couldn't have wanted for a better place for her. The staff treat her like family. They are so caring. I am always made to feel very welcome and come and go as I wish. Mum has had a few health challenges since moving here and the staff have been amazing throughout. Their communication is spot on, keeping us well informed of what's going on with mum, on the doctors rounds etc. they are quick to notice if things aren't quite right with mum and take appropriate action.

I am very happy that mum is in kind, safe and caring environment. Thank you to Hannah, Hannah, Emma and all the wonderful day, night, kitchen, housekeeping and admin staff.

Overall Experience
Willow Tree Lodge is an excellent residential home. It's main focus is to provide a resident friendly home which feels like they are all part of a family.
The home is very well run and the staff are attentive, friendly, kind and caring. The management team are clearly visible and are supportive and reactive.
There is a full range of activities which the residents can access and are well coordinated.
The home is exceptionally clean, well furnished and feels homely. The residents are encouraged to be part of the decision processes. They were asked to choose the material for the dinning room, which I must say is beautiful.
The relatives are actively encouraged to be part of the residential home. There are regular meetings held for relatives to voice their opinions. There is an obvious open door policy for people to raise any concerns which are dealt with efficiently and appropriately.

I would highly recommend Willow Lodge to anyone considering somewhere for their care

My Mum's mental health has declined rapidly over the last 12 months and the care and support both Mum and I have received from Willow Tree Lodge since she moved in 7 months ago has been outstanding.

The professional, compassionate support of staff starts at the top with an experienced, passionate manager and is reflected in every single member of the team. Their caring approach is obviously rooted in high standards and expectations as the care they provide is first class; but what makes a difference, both to Mum and to me, is how they adapt, automatically, to the personal needs of each resident to form a genuine family environment in which I know my Mum is safe and extremely well cared for.

We initially brought Mum to the care home for a short respite stay, but it quickly became clear that this was the right place for her long-term care. From the very beginning, we were made to feel welcome and reassured, which made what can be a difficult decision much easier.
The staff are absolutely wonderful-kind, patient, and genuinely caring. They take the time to get to know each resident as an individual, and it shows in the way they look after Mum. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, and it gives us great peace of mind knowing she is in such capable and compassionate hands.
There is always a range of stimulating and enriching activities taking place, which keeps residents engaged and uplifted. It's been lovely to see Mum getting involved and enjoying her days.

The home itself is very clean, well-maintained, and has a real "home from home" feel. It's warm, welcoming, and comfortable-exactly what you would hope for in a care setting

I cannot understate how thankful I and the wider family are that our Mother, Grandmother and Great GrandGrannie was a resident at Willow Tree Lodge for the last 4 months of her life. The care she received was truly outstanding and was delivered with care and compassion. Mum regarded it as home from the moment she entered the door - we felt that she was wrapped in love by people who treated her as family, right until the very end. Her dog was welcomed as a regular visitor by staff and residents alike which made a huge difference . Communication was excellent (including from the visiting GP) - nothing was ever too much trouble. We have taken a lot of comfort from knowing that she received truly outstanding care from the whole Willow Tree Team and was happy during her final few months. Thank you feels like it will never be enough. We cannot recommend Willow Tree Lodge enough so, if you are considering care options for your loved ones, please contact them to arrange a visit.

Mum moved into residential care in May 2025. We were unhappy with the care she was receiving at the care home, so Willow Tree Lodge was recommended to us. We were fairly anxious about moving mum as she has dementia, but from the moment we met staff from Willow Tree Lodge, we knew that she was going to be in safe hands and well cared for. She had a wonderful welcome and has settled in really well. The staff are amazing and there is a really homely, welcoming atmosphere. There is often something going on, chair exercise, singers etc. I would highly recommend Willow Tree Lodge and I'm so happy that we found this place after our previous bad experience!

I cannot praise Willow Tree Lodge and its staff enough - they really do go above and beyond to make such a lovely, caring, family home for all of its residents. As always, they all worked so hard to make Christmas 2025 special for all its residents. The support too for myself as the daughter of a resident when I was going through a very difficult time with family illness, is just another example of the extent of their care. It was so comforting to know I had their full support and could leave Mum in their hands during this difficult time. I am so relieved I chose Willow Tree Lodge for my Mum. Thank you so much to all the staff at Willow Tree Lodge - you are all fantastic.

My mother-in-law had been living at Willow Tree Lodge for about 9 months but unfortunately deteriorated to 'end of life' care her last 5 days. I cannot praise all the staff enough! I unreservedly recommend Willow Tree Lodge as it's a lovely friendly care home for your loved one.

I'm a close friend of a resident at Willow Tree, and I'm consistently impressed by the warmth and quality of care provided. The careers are exceptional-kind, patient, and genuinely attentive. They always take time to reassure, support, and connect with residents in meaningful ways. The manager leads with professionalism and heart, creating a positive atmosphere where staff feel supported and residents are truly prioritised. The activities are varied, engaging, and thoughtfully planned, giving residents plenty to enjoy each day. The cleanliness of the home is outstanding, with every space feeling fresh, well-kept, and welcoming. The food is another highlight-tasty, nutritious, and beautifully presented, and my friend regularly comments on how much they enjoy each meal. Above all, the atmosphere at Willow Tree Lodge is warm, friendly, and uplifting. It's clear that this is a place where people genuinely care. I couldn't be more grateful knowing my friend is in such safe hands

After a decline at home following Covid, isolation and early dementia, my mum's health worsened in hospital in 2024. I visited several homes, but Willow Tree just felt right - warm, calm and welcoming. From day one, staff said, "This is her home, and it's a privilege to care for her." And they meant it. Mum is a quiet, private lady, and the team include her gently, never overwhelming her. She's made great friends, chats with staff, and recently staff took Mum to Fareham to play table tennis and have coffee - table tennis she hadn't played since before Covid.

Food is excellent, with fresh choices and homemade cakes. Activities, trips to pubs and garden centres, and community links all add meaning to Mum's days. As someone who's worked in care, I know outstanding care when I see it - and Willow Tree delivers it. With 30 beds, it's homely yet professional. Mum is safe, happy, and thriving - and visiting her lifts my spirits too.

I have found all staff to be welcoming, friendly and helpful. They have coped with my husband's dietary needs well, his quirks and mannerisms with discretion and he seems to enjoy being there at Kiln Lodge. I am delighted always to find staff present in the lounge with residents. The building appears to be well maintained and always clean. It is a pity that residents cannot go down to the garden for safety reasons and that at times the car park seems inadequate. Perhaps in future a remedy will be found.

My family and I wish to give our sincere thanks for the care and kindness given to my wife as a resident in Kiln Lodge care home. although my wife suffered with Alzheimer's disease the staff loved her as their own mother, They made sure my wife was part of their family she was happy there. My wife sadly passed away on the 8th February 2025 but the staff still showed their love for her, and gave me, my family care tender kindness in my wife's last moments.
In her last two months of my wife's life she was in hospital due to having two strokes, on her return from hospital she had lost 10kg in weight. Kiln Lodge staff were determine to ensure my wife got back to her normal weight and back to her dancing again as she always did. She loved all the ladies that were her care's and it was obvious they love her, always, cuddling her ensuring she was always clean and dressed smart, it was her happy place her home.

Kiln Lodge is an amazing place, the caring staff treat residents as their family.
