Today I visited my Mom for the first since she became a resident at Lowmoor. I can honestly say she is extremely well cared for and I haven't seen her looking so well for a good few years. The carers / service users are amazing. The home itself is clean and well looked after. Plenty of staff on hand and all were happy to assist when needed. I would definitely recommend Lowmoor.

Newgate Lodge is an amazing place. My mum spent 11 months being cared for and loved by all the staff, and I mean all the staff, from reception through domestic, maintenance, management and of course the care team. My family and I have some wonderful memories of Mum's time at Newgate Lodge, it holds a very special place in my heart. Thank you all for the love, care, laughs and support and giving my mum 11 months of life xx

Newgate Lodge is an exceptional care home full of caring, active staff genuinely interested in the residents and their well being. The residents are well cared for physically and emotionally, well fed and stimulated

I would have marked excellent for activities but sometimes my mum was included in things she had no interest in at all like world cup football & tennis and value for money is hard to mark as I have no idea of 'overheads', but £5.5k seems an awful lot of money - but I would spend it agaon if needed.

Mum has now been accepted as a permanent resident at Newgate Lodge Care Home. Absolutely delighted Mum continues to excel in all areas. She is eating so well and her social skills continue to amaze me. Staff are great. Their encouragement and care of mum is great. All staff are approachable and friendly and mum engages with them really well. So happy to know that mum is settled, safe and well cared for. All residents are treated with dignity and respect and included as much as possible in activities. I would certainly recommend Newgate Lodge to anyone looking for residential care for their loved one. Well done everyone, you are all amazing

Mums first day today and as a family we were dreading it but mum actually loves it, I know it's early days but knowing mum if she didn't like it she would say so.

The staff are amazing, today I was met by Paul the staff nurse and he spoke to me for over 15 minutes which again put my mind at ease regarding mum.

The staff allowed us to arranged mums room prior to moving in and Linda and Emma again were so helpful, I feel this helped settle mum today. I think mum is going to be very happy at lowmoor nursing home.

The staff are all lovely. They are very good with my dad and know what he needs when we don't. He loves them and they lime him. He's well cared for and that's all that matters. The food is good and the residents are all treated with the respect that deserve.

I feel mum has settled really well in the home. Initially we had a few minor issues however, after raising my concerns with the staff these were resolved quickly and efficiently. Overall, the staff are hard working, attentive to the residents' needs, approachable and extremely caring.

Newgate Lodge has a warm friendly feel to it the moment you walk in. The staff in a departments are very friendly and it's obvious how much they care for the residents.

Mum has been here for a few weeks and is already settled which gives me great comfort in knowing she is safe, happy, well cared for and most of all she is content.

As a family we are highly delighted with my mums care. Mum came into care for 2 weeks for respite and she was so happy, we decided for mum to stay here. She loves it. The staff are incredibly brilliant to my mum and the family. The home also provides care for the family as well as my mum. When we come to see mum it is very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. A huge thank you.

My mum has been a resident at Newgate Lodge for 7 years. It is her home and a second home to her family all the staff are loving and caring to all residents. The facilities are modern, well maintained and the housekeeping, laundry and catering teams do a marvellous job. The home provides a varied programme of activities which cater for all residents, including safe and secure outside facilities and garden area. The management team and carers are dedicated in providing the best care possible and I would highly recommend this home.
