I would like to say a big thank you to Lead Nurse Muhammad and his team in Harrison House. I have known Muhammad since my mother was moved from Howson House to Harrison in June 2025. Muhammad has been nothing short of excellent. He leads a great team and has kept in regular contact with me updating me on everything concerning my mother. I live in Leicestershire and visit Mum every month for a few days and when I leave her I know she's in excellent hands. I have full confidence that she has the best care. Muhammad is polite, caring and efficient. He has a very warm and friendly approach. He's perfect for his present role. Thank you. Kind regards Tricia

Vida Grange has a professionally managed Wellbeing Team of caring staff who organize creative and enjoyable activities, along with outings in the home's minibus. Armchair exercise-to-music sessions are provided and excellent professional singers visit the home to entertain residents.

This review will not truly reflect the genuine kindness and patience all staff, from manager to cleaner to admin + especially the carers. My mums key carer was beyond wonderful. The welfare and entertainment team just so very kind and fun! Bart who was Santa with his elves was such a fun joyful moment to cherish. At mums funeral, a team leader + key carer attended but also the house cleaner Binu who had built a lovely respectful (on both sides!) with my mum. I was humbled he came to pay his respects! Victoria House is a haven in the cruel world of dementia.

Lovely clean and welcoming home. The care received is fantastic, my grandma is very well cared for and treat with dignity and respect. The staff are always happy to answer any questions and always take time to update us.

I visit my aunt regularly and feedback to the family on a weekly basis which has been very helpful to them due to them living abroad. We are all very happy with the service and care my aunt is receiving.

An excellent all round team from reception to nursing staff. Very supportive of my wife's needs and very patient care teams. Very good food and the wellbeing team work hard to provide interaction and interest for all residents. The facilities are well maintained and all staff try to treat the residents with respect and familiarity which greatly enhances the care experience for my wife in particular.

I have regular meetings and updates to inform me how he's doing. This is always helpful to discuss any issues I have too. There is always someone to talk to if I have any concerns.

My husband has been in Vida Grange for 15 months. In this time he has been extremley well looked after by all care staff, and encouraged to join in activities whenever possible. He is always showered daily, and is very smart. The food provided is exceptional. I feel confident that he is being well looked after. All staff are very curtious and approachable at all levels. My husband has been very settled while been in Vida Grange superb place to live.

Personal care is good from most of the staff and the food is of a high quality. However the wellbeing/activities fall short for may of the residents especially the younger residents. It's fine if you're one of the residents that can join in the main activities but if not, there is next to no wellbeing and you're just left to sit/sleep all day. From what I can see, there are no attempts to get the younger fitter residents outside to help them maintain their physical fitness

My dad has been a resident a Vida Court for around 18 months now, and we couln't be happier with it. Everybody that works there from reception to carers to cleaners and kitchen staff are all so kind and friendly, it really made a difficult transition much easier. I have nothing but praise for Vida Court, we're very lucky to have found such a lovely place for my dad to be cared for.

Reception staff are very helpful and can usually answer a question, without reference to anyone else. They keep the reception area and self service kitchen area clean and stocked up. It has an uplifting feeling, despite the circumstances.

My mother received high quality care and enjoyed her stay. Staff were so patient, caring and lovely! The home had fantastic facilities and was bright and cheerful, you would think it was a luxury hotel!

Mum was so happy with temporary stay. Great attention given by all staff and facilities superb. All family very happy with service provided. Staff were always available and room was always nice and clean.

My husband has been at Vida Grange for 2 years now. I am very happy with the care and support that he receives. The staff, carers and wellbeing team, are welcoming and friendly. The wellbeing team provide varied activities and interaction. The support given to family is excellent.

I felt pressured by managers to move him to a different house which would have undoubtably caused him distress. I refused. We received no support at all throughout this very difficult time. As his final fall was on the morning he passed he was failed to the very end. I wasn't even asked about our wishes and preferences for his end of life care. What an extremely poor standard of care this was. Outstanding!. I think not.

My dad has been a resident on Regent house at Vida Grange for almost 3 years. The care given to him by all staff at Vida Grange is of the highest standard. The staff on Regent are amazing and nothing is ever too much trouble. My dad is in the best place possible and I would highly recommend Vida Grange to anyone looking for specialist dementia care.

My husband has been living in Vida Hall for nearly a year. He received a lovely warm reception on admission and I was treated exactly the same. Throughout his time here my husband has been treated with the highest respect and courtesy and the caring staff seem to be genuinely fond of him. He is always allowed his rights to choice, dignity and privacy and is encouraged to have social connection with other patients as well as staff on a daily basis which helps to stimulate him and avoid isolation. The level of care is extremely high and is done with tenderness and understanding. As a regular visitor, I am always welcomed by a friendly staff member and offered a drink which is so very welcome after a long journey and they always make time to have a few words with me which I appreciate during this difficult time. Despite the distance from home I would not wish for my husband to be anywhere else, Vida Hall is outstandingly good.

We have had really good feelings about our family member being a resident in your care but over recent months have encountered some very confusing conflicting information about their dementia journey as it seems to be coming to the later stages it's not good .. as we have to pass on information to family members who have chosen not to visit this can sometimes be quite stressful ..

My husband came to Vida Grange in November 2025, I am so happy with the way all the staff are with Peter and myself. He settled in very quickly and started to put on weight. The food,he thoroughly enjoys his meals and the snacks available for him. The well being team are all so kind, caring and mindful of his needs. As soon as I enter the building I am always greeted with a friendly face and smile. So welcoming in so many ways. The whole team on Harlow Carr House are amazing in every way so thankful for everyone involved in my husband's care.
