The Meadows Residential Care Home caters for 29 residents across 24 bedrooms. It is a family run care home designed for people who like the intimacy and homely feel of a smaller care home. The incredible team go above and beyond to anticipate their residents' every need.

Since 2020, the Home has been undergoing major upgrading work to embrace the notion of continuous improvement to the general environment of all communal areas and all private rooms. All bedrooms have a full set of en-suite facilities with brand new ceramic sanitary-ware and spot-lights to the ceilings. All floorings have been replaced with non-permeable flooring and all walls skimmed and newly decorated.

A rear and side extension are due to be completed by this summer to provide an additional 6 bedrooms and a much larger lounge, quiet area and dining room.

It is located in Greenford, West London, with easy access from the A40, the M25 and is also a 5-minute walk from Greenford Tube Station, which is on the Central Line.

The staff are acutely aware of the problems and anxieties that moving into care can bring. They will support your transition sensitively with compassion and understanding. All of the staff have the knowledge, experience and skills of dealing with the issues and concerns surrounding such an important change, for which reason they will offer you constant support and guidance.

They boast a long-standing permanent workforce who always believe in putting their residents first. They believe that they’ve created a family in both their carers and residents and only believe in employing outstanding individuals who are able to meet exceptionally high standards.

The Activity Coordinator provides relaxation classes /sessions every morning to aid relief of many issues facing older people such as depression, loneliness, and isolation and the Team believes in the application of diverse techniques to boost residents' morale.

My mum has been at The Meadows for nearly 18 months. She is well cared for and always clean. All the staff show her respect and are patient with her due to her lack of confidence and understanding of English. The owners and management are regularly present at the care home, which is reassuring to know
that they are very much involved in the care of their residents. They are always available for a chat. If there are any issues or concerns, the owners and management always deal with them immediately and in a very professional manner.
I am always kept up to date with mum's wellbeing. All the staff are very friendly and welcome you with a smile, they also have time for a chat. Mum does say she misses her own home but, when I take her out for the day she is always eager to return to The Meadows and when the staff open the front door she feels relieved and says "I'm back home" with a smile on her face. This is comforting to me as I know she feels safe and happy.

The Meadows is a very well run care home, professional staff, management and owners.
My Father is extremely happy there, would definitely recommend.
It is in a nice area and not being such a large home, I feel Residents get great care and attention from all staff. I also feel very welcome whenever

The prospect of searching for a suitable care home for my Dad was daunting, to say the least. The staff welcomed us when we came to make an enquiry. We couldn't be happier with the level of care Dad receives. Everyone is so friendly, professional and approachable. Whenever there is a concern, staff
are always willing to sit down and discuss things. Communication between the family and the staff is remarkable. Dad is happy, has made friends and we feel reassured that he is being very well looked after. It is comforting to know that Dad isn't just another resident. The staff have got to know him really well, engage him in regular conversation and enjoy involving him in activities to keep him connected. We feel he is in the best possible place and are so very grateful to everyone involved with his care needs.

Following a period of unsettlement after the passing of my Mother, we came across The Meadows and haven't looked back. Staff are professional but extremely caring and friendly. The home is clean and extremely comfortable. I visited many homes to find one that my father would be happy in and The Meadows
is the best by far, even including those that charge a great deal more.

My mother went to The Meadows as a temporary placement until a place became available closer to home. She was treated with respect and dignity and the level of care was exceptional.
Communication with staff was excellent and management were always available for support and help. I found this a real
help as it was Christmas and a difficult time for Mum to be placed in a home.
The Meadows is a "home from home" and staff work hard to create its calm and homely environment. My Mum was very happy there and thank you to everyone who looked after her and always went the extra mile to give her the care and time she needed.
The family run home gives you a feeling that residents are genuinely cared about and are considered as people first, their needs and unique requirements being met as much as possible.
Thank you especially to two members of staff in particular- your support was incredible and so greatly appreciated at what was a very difficult time for our family.

The Meadows is a really lovely, exceptional care home. The staff are truly dedicated and the residents are treated with outstanding care, dignity and respect. At the beginning of our visit, we were greeted so warmly by the staff and that warmness continued throughout our time there. The residents are
all so well cared for and it was lovely to see how happy they all were and how attentive the staff were towards them all. The home was warm, spotlessly clean with a vibrant atmosphere. The day we visited, they were celebrating the birthday of a resident, It was lovely to be part of such a special celebration. An exceptional care home, wonderful staff and happy well cared for residents.

My mother has been at the Meadows for 6 years now. I am a social worker and visit a lot of homes with my job and this is the best care home I have ever been to. The care is outstanding and the owners have done a remarkable job at turning it around. They spent a lot of money upgrading everything and
making sure that the residents have the best of everything. The care is outstanding and my mum tells me the food is great and typically being a fussy eater that counts for quite a lot. The Managers are fantastic at what they do and they have a great ability to pick incredibly caring carers. This is simply the best care home out there (and as I'm sure people reading this are aware that is incredibly difficult to find). I am so grateful for the fantastic care my mother receives. She was always a well-kept woman and The Meadows understands the need and importance of keeping her well turned out. We are consulted on all her care plans and they call to update us on any changes. This is an absolute gem!

We couldn't believe our luck when a vacancy came up, as we were on the waiting list & they are always at full capacity. The owners were so friendly, kind & understanding of our needs. The home in general is exceptionally clean, with a homely-feel. We knew immediately that this was the right place for
my aunty. The bedrooms are individually decorated so they don't have a clinical feel. The owners are both nurses, so that immediately put us at ease. The carers & managers are exceptional & truly care for the residents.They are all very gentle, kind & hardworking. The residents including my aunty are constantly encouraged to drink, stand & walk, so they don't develop sores & the thing that's extra special is the way the carers hug the residents & give human contact. I was recently at the home when the activity coordinator was working & she was amazing. She said she can tailor make plans for the residents, but they usually play bingo, bowling, karaoke, cards, painting & darts. I cannot fault this home!

When I first walked into The Meadows Residential Care Home looking for a place for my mum, I was greeted with a very warm welcome by staff in a very homely atmosphere, I immediately felt this could be the right home. During my visit I spoke to residents who all seemed happy and well cared for. The owners
were very understanding and helpful especially during the assessment process, and the setting up of mum’s room with her own furniture and ornaments. All of our requests were met, even changing the wash hand basin taps in mum’s en-suite bathroom. On mum's arrival she was welcomed into the home with a lovely bunch of flowers and welcome note.
The home is well managed and run to a very high standard, the owner’s and their staff are very committed to the home and resident’s needs. The office manager is very efficient, professional and helpful and the hardworking staff very friendly and caring to residents and visitors. The home is kept very clean throughout and always has a pleasant smell.
Mum has settled in quickly, she feels very safe and is well cared for by all staff. The care, kindness, attention and support given to my mum is excellent, this is of utmost importance to mum and her family. My mum is very happy and feels respected and supported at The Meadows.
The standard of care provided is highly professional, the owners and staff create a very friendly and approachable atmosphere and are always happy to help with resident’s needs. Staff are brilliant in every way always cheerful and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, they always take time to talk to us as well as mum, making us all feel welcome. I am very happy mum has moved into a very nice home.
I would strongly recommend this home to friends and relatives or anyone reading this review.

Well run, friendly staff, very knowledgeable about dealing with old people, a lot better than NHS Hospitals! Lots of staff on hand to look after the residents. This is in a handy location near the A40 but surprisingly quiet.

My Mother spent over 4 years at The Meadows in Greenford suffering from Dementia and the personal support needs coming from old age. During this period the care and individual attention she received during her stay was excellent in every respect. The Meadows provides a well managed environment that
looks after the needs of its clients with pride, commitment and to the highest professional standards you could wish for. The owners and staff are very friendly, hardworking and approachable but most importantly highly professional in the standard of care they continue to provide.


Sadly aged 90 our Mother passed away in July 2015 it was a very sad and emotional period for me and my brothers but I can honestly say the staff at The Meadows had been exceptional in every respect during this time. The Manager was so caring and supportive and a real professional helping us deal with Mum's last few days so she passed away comfortably with dignity and respect. We could not have wished for more support during Mum's last few days, everything possible was done to make her comfortable during her end of life care and to look after our needs.


The owner has transformed the Meadows into a well managed home and an example of best practice that I am sure others could learn from. The home has undergone significant investment in the past 3/4 years improving and extending facilities for residents and staff to very high standards.


As a family The Meadows is very important to us as my late Mother's sister is also a resident and like Mum was, my Aunt is looked after according to her agreed care plans giving us peace of mind and the confidence she is being cared for to the highest standards.

The Meadows is a very well-run and caring home for its residents and caters well for a range of needs with a conscientious and hard-working staff. It feels like a 'home' rather than an institution and families are openly welcomed to visit any time of the day - often met with a lovely cup of tea and
biscuit! The Manager works hard to ensure staff are supervised and are addressing the residents' needs and also ensures she meets regularly with families to discuss any concerns that have arisen. Communication lines are very clearly followed and reassure families who may have questions and queries. The home has very good links with an excellent GP service - medical issues are dealt with very promptly which is crucial when dealing with the elderly. In fact, the manager works very hard to liaise with all external agencies involved in the care of the residents to ensure they have all the care they need. Residents appear very happy and relaxed in their homely environment. A range of activities is provided for residents to participate in, though care is taken to tailor the tasks to the interests of the resident. All in all, the Meadows is a happy home though the management and owners are always looking at ways to improve it.

My mother was a resident at The Meadows up until she passed away in July of this year.
She was lucky to of had 4 and a half years here and received excellent care and compassion throughout.
There have been many changes during that time, most notably the change of ownership to its present owners.
The
managers are continuing to develop The Meadows to ensure that the best possible care and attention is given to all the residents.
The care that my mother was given towards the end of her life was above and beyond all duties.
I now have my aunt still a resident there and she is very well cared for and well looked after.
The manager and all the care staff are excellent and treat all residents as individuals.

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2022

Michelle joined The Meadows on 21/02/2022, at which time her Deputy Suzanne equally started. Michelle came in with a wealth of experience in managing home-care services in Harrow prior to which she was a Branch Manager, Deputy Care Manager, Trainer, Field Care Supervisor, Senior Care Co-ordinator, Practice Manager, NHS Patient Care Manager, Health Advisor and Administrator.


She is currently completing a Diploma / Higher Education @ Level 5 in Health & Social Care. She is a respectful member of our Team, who is always driven by high-quality performance, good leadership and the application of new concepts to ensure proficiency, enthusiasm and the development of a productive team.
