The Meadows Residential Care Home caters for 29 residents across 24 bedrooms. It is a family run care home designed for people who like the intimacy and homely feel of a smaller care home. The incredible team go above and beyond to anticipate their residents' every need.

Since 2020, the Home has been undergoing major upgrading work to embrace the notion of continuous improvement to the general environment of all communal areas and all private rooms. All bedrooms have a full set of en-suite facilities with brand new ceramic sanitary-ware and spot-lights to the ceilings. All floorings have been replaced with non-permeable flooring and all walls skimmed and newly decorated.

A rear and side extension are due to be completed by this summer to provide an additional 6 bedrooms and a much larger lounge, quiet area and dining room.

It is located in Greenford, West London, with easy access from the A40, the M25 and is also a 5-minute walk from Greenford Tube Station, which is on the Central Line.

The staff are acutely aware of the problems and anxieties that moving into care can bring. They will support your transition sensitively with compassion and understanding. All of the staff have the knowledge, experience and skills of dealing with the issues and concerns surrounding such an important change, for which reason they will offer you constant support and guidance.

They boast a long-standing permanent workforce who always believe in putting their residents first. They believe that they’ve created a family in both their carers and residents and only believe in employing outstanding individuals who are able to meet exceptionally high standards.

The Activity Coordinator provides relaxation classes /sessions every morning to aid relief of many issues facing older people such as depression, loneliness, and isolation and the Team believes in the application of diverse techniques to boost residents' morale.

I have been visiting my friend regularly who has been in The Meadows for the past 2 years. I always feel welcomed and the staff are always extremely helpful. They all go above and beyond for the residents and it's an absolute pleasure to visit. The staff are just wonderful, so kind and respectful. My
friend is so happy and well taken care of, not to mention entertained whether by playing bingo or singing along with the visiting singers. The Meadows is always clean and feels like a home rather than a care home. My friend loves the food and he is very happy with his room. Managment are always on hand and very accommodating. I highly recommend The Meadows.

My aunt and her husband both have Alzheimer's/dementia mixed. Physically they are both well and mobile but are no longer able to live on their own as they are very vulnerable.


The staff at this care home are very kind and caring. When I visit, they are clean and happy. They tell me that the food

is good and talk highly of the staff. They have put a double bed in their room for them without my asking. They take them and a couple of other residents to the local church on a Sunday which is very important to my aunt and her husband.


All the residents are spoken to respectfully and I am glad we found this home.

My aunt spent the last four years of her life at The Meadows and was very happy there. When she reached the age of 96 she was no longer able to manage in her own home and needed extra support. My choice of The Meadows proved the best decision I could have made. She was shown great kindness and respect
by all the staff and really felt at home there. I will always be grateful for the exemplary care she received.

Mum is very happy at The Meadows because she is being very well looked after. The care hone is well run, the staff friendly and they interact well with all the residents. I would recommend The Meadows to other people looking for a care hone for a parent.

This care home is exceptional in every way. My mother of "mammy" is a strong Irish woman, who dare I say is very stubborn and particular. She did not initially want to go into a care home and was determined to stay on her own at home, however, after coming in and meeting the manager and the staff, she
started to relent. She likes things done a certain way, which basically means "her way". She is very fussy about everything from food, to how gentle the carers are, even to the way the beds are made. She thoroughly enjoys every day there and praises the staff to no end on their kindness, gentleness and how loving they are. She also praises the food continuously and has put on weight for the 1st time in years. I cannot recommend this home highly enough.

Fantastic care home! If only every care home was like this one then elderly people would be in a much more fortunate position. They are exemplary in every way. It is a warm, lovely home and you get such a great feel for it as soon as you walk in. Everyone is always smiling and you see the same staff
all the time, so there is no need to worry about new faces. It's family run and it really makes the difference. The owners and their daughter are on hand all the time and so approachable. They run a very tight ship and their standards for everything, not least care, truly shows. I cannot rave about this home enough. My grandad has improved mentally and physically and I can honestly say he has never been happier.

The Meadows is a care home that has a true family feel to it. The staff are local, not agency and they treat residents with respect and with love. Family and friends are made to feel welcome and the home is always clean. There is a great atmosphere and very often when I visit there is some form of entertainment
in progress. I know my cousin really appreciates the live music and dance sessions. The staff know him very well and are always striving to make him feel content and happy, readjusting his care plan to meet his needs. My cousin, when he wants, gets taken to church every week by staff which is really important to him. He takes an active role in the home with various tasks. Despite dementia, my cousin has been able to keep his dignity. He is always immaculately dressed and shaved and his room is his own private place where he receives guests. I would be happy to be a resident here myself.

Both my Aunt and Uncle are residents at this lovely care home. They have both settled in extremely well and feel at home. It's never an easy choice to place your loved ones in someone else's care but the team at The Meadows make you feel part of a very loving family. The care and support they give is
the very best you can hope for. Nothing is too much to ask for. You feel at home when you visit. They ensure that my Aunt and Uncle can still go to mass on Sundays and for walks so they still feel part of normal life. I count my blessings for the day I found this wonderful care home.

My mother was taken in by The Meadows care home, following lengthy stays at two different NHS respite homes, plus an attempt to resettle her back at her own home.
It was a difficult and daunting time to choose a care home, but after the initial visit, I knew it was right, after speaking with the manager
and generally getting a feel for what it would be like for her.
From day 1 my mother felt at home, despite her own concerns about being placed into care. Myself and my family are extremely pleased; my mother was immediately settled, comfortable in her surroundings and the staff were just great. She was welcomed and cared for like family. I cannot praise them enough, as no doubt this was a tense time for my mother to cope with at this stage in her life.
To date it has lived up to expectations and having been there visiting many times, I am happy to report that my mother loves being there. I am so relieved that she is being cared for in a comfortable caring and thoughtful home.

I have previously submitted a review about The Meadows when my aunt went to stay there. It is such a caring and special place. I wish to now make a few more observations. From the moment she went into this care home, my aunt blossomed. It was wonderful to see. She was receiving the proper care,
she had company and stimulation and excellent food. She has just had, unfortunately, some extremely bad news about the death of her son. But the way the care home reacted was marvellous. All the staff were of course immediately notified. On the evening she was told of the death, two members of the care staff sat with her until she went to sleep, so she was not alone. And the following morning the Director of The Meadows sat with her for an hour and a half and chatted to her about her life. This was not an easy task, as my aunt is extremely deaf (hearing aids are being made). It is such a caring place, and I am so grateful we have found this "home".

This care home is exceptional in every way. The carers go over and beyond to look after the residents and put their needs before everything. It is the same staff and the same faces you see everyday. The food is excellent and the rooms are spacious, lovely and bright. I cannot fault this home. It took
us a long time to find the right place for my dad, as we wanted to make sure he would be happy. I feel like we stumbled upon a hidden gem because he's never been happier.


He's finally put on weight, he's walking well and going out with the staff regularly and engages in conversation when we visit. I was worried that we as a family would never ever see this side of him again and yet this home has given him a new lease of life. All of the staff and especially the management team are so kind and helpful. They're always ready to help and you can tell that they do this because they love it. The residents needs are always first and they treat the residents like family

The manager and his team provide a first-class service. My siblings (seven of them) and I conducted extensive research across West London to find 'the right' care home for our Irish mam. The requirements list was a tall order from the ethos of the home, friendliness of the staff, quality of the food,
accessibility to management, robust medical care, regular stimulus both physical and psychological, easy transport access, regular faith services to a competitive market rate. All eight siblings agreed that The Meadows was a perfect fit, far ahead of its competitors and we would argue it is the best in West London.


Mam has resided at The Meadows for several years now and we love watching her bond with fellow residents, she migrated to London in the fifties from Limerick, and many in the home have similar backgrounds. I have lost count of how many times The Meadows' team have gone the extra mile for mam, it is such a relief to know that her golden years are spent in the finest caring hands.

The Meadows is a family run Care Home in which each family member brings an area of genuine expertise as well as an ethos of personal commitment and care for the residents. These values are fully embraced by all the staff creating an environment in which relatives and their families are cared for in
the most attentive way. The facilities are good but the staff and management are outstanding. The home also offers excellent value for money. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My mother resided at this care home for 2 years. In that time she was shown the utmost respect, kindness and love by all the carers and owners. The care home is always spotlessly clean her room was homely and immaculate. The carers always had a huge welcome for all visitors and I can say hand on heart
that this care home is a home away from home. She always looked well dressed (which was so important to her) and they took great care of her clothes etc. She always loved the food and the choice offered to her. The owners seemed to be present a lot and it's a family run business. Sadly my mum had a stroke and needed to go to a nursing home which does not meet the high standards of The Meadows although still a nice home. I still miss the warm welcome and genuine love shown by all the staff at The Meadows as does mum.

My father was discharged from hospital and needed a care home. The managers were supported and responded effectively, visiting me at home and assessing my father in the hospital. Anything I needed to know, they assisted me with during and post my dad's stay. Food was plentiful and of good quality -
my Dad's every need was catered for and anticipated on occasion. His room was well-decorated and his laundry was done every day. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. I can recommend this care home without reservation.

My mother has been at The Meadows for 19 months. She suffers from the later stages of dementia. The care she has received is excellent. The staffs' consistent friendliness and considerate behaviour is making my mother happy and comfortable. The house is immaculate, the only smell is of delicious food
freshly prepared every day. The managers are professional and compassionate and have taken time to talk to me and keep me up to date with any change to my mother's health. They are swift to contact my mother's doctor in the event of any concern there might be with mum's well being. My mother is beautifully cared for by the staff, she always looks clean and special cream is applied to her to prevent dryness of skin - her nails manicured and hair regularly cut. Her clothes are always clean and ironed. All people in the home are equally well cared for and their varying needs accommodated.
I am so happy that I found The Meadows, I have recommended this home to everyone I know.

The staff and management are extremely caring and treat residents with respect and dignity. The home is bright and clean with good facilities and good food. I am not sure about the activities as yet. My dad would benefit from being more engaged in some activities.

This care home has been exceptional in everything they do. My aunty lived here for 7 plus years and was very happy. She was treated with dignity and respect and the staff treated her like family. I cannot express my gratitude to them, especially in her final months. She had no dementia and would tell
me how fantastic the staff were to her and how she couldn't have been happier anywhere else. The staff honestly go over and beyond andI would recommend this home to anyone without a shadow of a doubt. I have been to many homes but never one as phenomenal as this one.

A friend had been suffering from severe and acute depression and could not cope with independent living. In the 6 months since he has has been at The Meadows he has made a remarkable transformation: he has put on weight, he is cheerful and friendly and he is progressing in activities which he had all
but given up - reading, watching tv and conversing with people. His mental health was in an extremely parlous state and it is because of The Meadows that he has made such an excellent recovery. Its staff can only be described as excellent - they are attentive to the needs of the residents, they are good communicators and are very caring and kind people. This has to be the result of good management and employment practices. The whole atmosphere in The Meadows is one of "well-being" and on entering the building you sense you have entered a secure and warm environment where residents are well looked after by professionals who care about their welfare. I would highly recommend this care home.

The care my late auntie received at The Meadows was excellent.The staff are kind, caring and very patient.The Meadows is exceptionly clean and homely, the food tasty and nourishing. The owner could not have done more for my auntie, always ready to listen and make sure my auntie's wellbeing was foremost.
My auntie was very happy here.

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2022

Michelle joined The Meadows on 21/02/2022, at which time her Deputy Suzanne equally started. Michelle came in with a wealth of experience in managing home-care services in Harrow prior to which she was a Branch Manager, Deputy Care Manager, Trainer, Field Care Supervisor, Senior Care Co-ordinator, Practice Manager, NHS Patient Care Manager, Health Advisor and Administrator.


She is currently completing a Diploma / Higher Education @ Level 5 in Health & Social Care. She is a respectful member of our Team, who is always driven by high-quality performance, good leadership and the application of new concepts to ensure proficiency, enthusiasm and the development of a productive team.
