The Meadows Residential Care Home caters for 29 residents across 24 bedrooms. It is a family run care home designed for people who like the intimacy and homely feel of a smaller care home. The incredible team go above and beyond to anticipate their residents' every need.

Since 2020, the Home has been undergoing major upgrading work to embrace the notion of continuous improvement to the general environment of all communal areas and all private rooms. All bedrooms have a full set of en-suite facilities with brand new ceramic sanitary-ware and spot-lights to the ceilings. All floorings have been replaced with non-permeable flooring and all walls skimmed and newly decorated.

A rear and side extension are due to be completed by this summer to provide an additional 6 bedrooms and a much larger lounge, quiet area and dining room.

It is located in Greenford, West London, with easy access from the A40, the M25 and is also a 5-minute walk from Greenford Tube Station, which is on the Central Line.

The staff are acutely aware of the problems and anxieties that moving into care can bring. They will support your transition sensitively with compassion and understanding. All of the staff have the knowledge, experience and skills of dealing with the issues and concerns surrounding such an important change, for which reason they will offer you constant support and guidance.

They boast a long-standing permanent workforce who always believe in putting their residents first. They believe that they’ve created a family in both their carers and residents and only believe in employing outstanding individuals who are able to meet exceptionally high standards.

The Activity Coordinator provides relaxation classes /sessions every morning to aid relief of many issues facing older people such as depression, loneliness, and isolation and the Team believes in the application of diverse techniques to boost residents' morale.

Dad has been at The Meadows for 20 months. His health is starting to decline, but the staff have all been amazing in their increased care for him. I am regularly updated and nothing is ever too much trouble with regards to dad's well-being and also, my own. The food is of a high standard and they help
dad to eat and drink when necessary, which is becoming more often, unfortunately.

I looked at many homes before The Meadows and wished I had looked sooner as this ticked all the boxes. The staff are all well trained and caring, nothing is too much trouble. The staff spend a lot of time with the residents listening to them and notice any minor changes and respond immediately. There
are regular activities and trips out. The food is varied and well balanced with a choice of menu. Rooms are clean and well kept- very comfortable and residents can have their own furniture. All the staff are amazing.

My father went to The Meadows as he didn't want to live by himself. We chose The Meadows because it's like a family home which is very comforting. My father has been at this care home for the last year. He went in with dementia and weight loss, following a stint in hospital after having a fall at home. He is so much happier and his confidence has grown since his admission. He loves his room and we were able to take in small pieces of his furniture
from his home, to make it homely. He is a huge dog lover, having had them all his life and he relishes seeing Totti (the Meadow's dog) every day. I feel this has also been very therapeutic for him and aided his recovery. He never wanted to go into a care home all his life but now can't imagine life at home. It was a huge relief for us as a family that he settled in so quickly and as well as he did.

The Meadows is an outstanding home. My brother has been in the home for the last 3 months and is a new man. He is so happy and content. When he was at home he was lonely and lacked company. He is now stimulated every day with activities and speaking to other residents and staff members. He has plenty
of space to walk with his frame. The fact that he sits with other residents to eat has increased his appetite enormously. I cannot thank the staff and owners enough. They constantly keep us informed on how he is getting on and we always feel incredibly welcome when we visit.

Excellent in all avenues. It’s a nice, friendly home with great staff who are very personable and attentive. The care they give to my grandfather is exceptional. He loves all the members of staff there and talks about them every time we visit.

This Care Home is everything a Care Home should be. They care in a way I have not seen in other care homes and the staff clearly love their jobs. The management is extremely committed. They update us constantly on our cousin's progress and generally how he is doing. The food looks very appetising and
my cousin has put on loads of weight, which is great as he was considerably underweight before going there. I can highly recommend this home to anyone looking for one for their friends or relatives.

This is a very nice property, the room is generous, the whole place has just been redecorated. All set in lovely grounds. The staff are great, funny, caring and attentive. I am very pleased we got our mother a place here.

I viewed a couple of care homes for my elderly cousin, this was by far the better. At the viewing, the manager interacted with the residents whilst showing me around. The home is fresh smelling and there are different areas providing quiet areas as well as the lounge with a TV.
Residents are able
to request food/drink choices for items that aren’t normally on the menu. Appointments could be made for a chiropodist and optician to attend the home. Each resident had a small amount of petty cash held in the office for hairdresser appointments (the hairdresser visited once a fortnight) and sundries from the local newsagents.
Regular activities took place during the day. My cousin needed to visit the toilet very often day and night and it was never an issue nor did she have to wait for ages to be escorted there. Outings were encouraged e.g. going to church, trips to the local park.

My elderly Aunt was happy in this home. The staff work very hard and are very caring. The daily activities were organised, the food was good and the home very clean.

The Meadows have taken incredible care of my mother-in-law. She adores all of the staff. The home always has a lovely homely feel when you walk in. It is always warm and inviting and everyone is always smiling. I thank God we managed to get my husband's mother into this home as it would appear that
they are always full with a long waiting list. She couldn't be better cared for, even by her own family. Thank you to everyone involved in her care. You are incredible at what you do.

Since my mother suffered a stroke she has been a resident at The Meadows Care Home since July 2016.
My mother is very well looked after by all the staff there who are extremely kind to her even when she has a bad day.
The level of care is excellent, the home is always clean and all the other residents
seem very happy and content.
The management is always very helpful and always keep us updated and well informed of any changes or if my mother has an appointment.
Whenever I visit my mother she is always happy and I can see by the relationship she has with the staff she cares about them very much and they care about her.
She has made some nice friends too.
I would highly recommend The Meadows to anyone who may need to find a very good Care Home.

The Meadows is truly an outstanding home. I read all the reviews before sending my Stepmum here and they are spot on. The home is always immaculately clean, and the home is decorated like a home, not a clinical or what you might think a care home would be.
The staff are so attentive and exceptionally
kind and helpful. The owners and manager are literally always available, and the manager gives her mobile number to ensure 24-7 access. They provide great entertainment with singers and lots of activities. Super home!

This care home is outstanding in every way. The staff are very caring and they put the needs of the residents before everything else. This family-run care home is exemplary and one can only hope that other care homes learn from it, so that all care homes get to this standard. There is a great ambience
when you walk in and you can honestly feel the warmth and love that the carers and owners exude. The food looks delicious and I am told by my dad that it is all cooked freshly on the premises. For people who are looking for a care home, I can recommend this one without hesitation and our family are able to lead our lives knowing that our father is in the absolute best place he can be.

Michelle Kelly

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2022

Michelle joined The Meadows on 21/02/2022, at which time her Deputy Suzanne equally started. Michelle came in with a wealth of experience in managing home-care services in Harrow prior to which she was a Branch Manager, Deputy Care Manager, Trainer, Field Care Supervisor, Senior Care Co-ordinator, Practice Manager, NHS Patient Care Manager, Health Advisor and Administrator.


She is currently completing a Diploma / Higher Education @ Level 5 in Health & Social Care. She is a respectful member of our Team, who is always driven by high-quality performance, good leadership and the application of new concepts to ensure proficiency, enthusiasm and the development of a productive team.
