Sancroft Community Care Ltd- Sancroft Hall

A friend of mine has been in Sancroft Community Care Home and she settled perfectly thanks to the staff, who are excellent. She has dementia and she seems to be really happy as she is being treated with kindness and compassion. She loves to spend time with other residents and she really enjoys the food. The rooms are nice and clean with a garden view. I couldn’t be happier with Sancroft Care Home, especially during the COVID pandemic. There are video calls available as well as visits in the special visiting room. Seeing her happy - that’s the most important. I know she is in good hands.

I believe my late father enjoyed his 8-months in Sancroft Community Care Home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The standard of care is high and all residents are treated with the utmost dignity. I was happy with my late father’s room. It was regularly cleaned, and he had a garden view. The team at Sancroft were extremely accommodating. My husband and I usually visited with Sri Lankan food. The staff provided this to him during his mealtimes without a problem. Having lived in Sri Lanka for most of his life, we deeply appreciated the care home’s attempts to maintain this connection to his culture. The staff at Sancroft would regularly go beyond the call of duty. It meant a lot to my father that there were a couple of members of staff he could speak to in (Tamil) his mother tongue. My father had dementia, and we took great care in choosing a care home for him. I could not be happier with our choice of Sancroft Community Care home. Thank you for your support.

This is an extremely well-run care home with excellent caring staff from managers, carers, reception, housekeeping, kitchen, and all other staff. My mother has been at Sancroft for nearly three years and has dementia. She is happy and well cared for, which is a great comfort to myself and my family. Sancroft has a pleasant homely atmosphere and I would highly recommend it. Thank you.

The home is well presented and clean. It is well managed and all of the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about my relative and her care needs. All the residents are treated with dignity and kindness and are listened to. I feel welcomed when I visit and know that my relative is in the best place she can be.

I have found my wife has always been treated with kindness and compassion, even though they don't know what she is saying, due to her always speaking german.

Sancroft has a homely and comfortable feel about it. From the first visit, we felt it was 'right' for our mum and has proved to be. We can rest assured that she is well cared for and looked after, always clean and tidy whenever we visit and we do not need to worry about her as we leave her. The staff are all very pleasant and approachable, always around to talk to and always find time for us to answer any questions that we may have. As a family, we are very happy with Sancroft Care for our mum.

My nan has been in the dementia unit for just over a year and whilst it is heartbreaking to see her in the grips of this disease, it is a great comfort to me and my family to see how wonderfully she is cared for. The cleanliness of the care home is second to none and all the staff that I have encountered are just fantastic. To see the way they look after and interact with my Nan and the dignity they give her is brilliant. It's a comfort to know that she is well looked after and in the best possible hands.

My mum has been in the new Alzheimer’s unit for 1 year now and I am extremely happy with the care provided. The careers are kind and patient and my mum is always clean and well cared for and the home-cooked food is always plentiful. I cannot fault this home, I am happy with it in every way and if there are worries that I have, the management is always approachable to help.

The care received was of the highest possible standard with care assistants anticipating and also responding to the needs of my sister as she became more frail. The end of life care provided was excellent and was so much more sympathetic than it would have been in a hospital environment. The support given to her husband during this time was just what he needed. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone requiring this support.

My late wife lived at Sancroft for the last eight months of her life. She had suffered from Parkinson's for some years and this had degenerated into dementia. I cannot speak highly enough of the care she received. The staff were at all times kind, caring, and respectful of her as a person. She was, judging from the feelings expressed when she passed away, loved by them all in what became her final home. The premises are bright and immaculate and very well maintained. The food is excellent, varied and much enjoyed. The home management is efficient yet unobtrusive and having seen other care homes in operation, I have no hesitation in recommending Sancroft to any family seeking a place for a loved one.

Sancroft has been wonderful for my mother. The staff are all so caring and understand the need of the individual. Even after only 3 weeks they know my mother well and all her little idiosyncrasies. Her room is wonderful and the whole place is kept very clean. Everyday they have freshly cooked meals. The management is great and all the support staff are very friendly and helpful. I can't recommend it highly enough.

My friend has dementia and was admitted to Sancroft Community Care a couple of weeks before Christmas 2018. I was very apprehensive as to how they would settle in as they had been very independent at home until a few months prior to this. However, the manager and every single member of the staff at Sancroft have been amazing from day one. My friend is extremely well looked after and cared for in every way. The building is welcoming, warm and very clean and the facilities are second to none. It is such a relief to see my friend happy and cared for so well at Sancroft and I highly recommend the staff and care provided, thank you.

My mother has been in this care home for nearly 2 years and I and my sister see this as my mums home. We look forward to seeing her each week. The staff have been very friendly and caring and go out of their way to look after our Mum. They talk to her as if they are my mum's daughters. She is their "baa" & "ma". The food is excellent especially the lunchtime Indian. Even we would not be able to make such food for lunch. We are very grateful to management and staff who looked after my mum when she had a fall recently. She went by ambulance to A&E. The management was prompt to inform us and gave us regular updates by phoning A&E. We are very grateful that my mum is in such a caring home who look after her as family. We consider Sancroft care home as our family home always pleased to meet staff, other residents and thankful that my mum is well looked after.

We are very happy with the care provided to our uncle. He is looked after well, with dignity and respect.

We would especially like to commend the staff who are polite and empathetic with the needs of residents. Outstanding and exceptional is the care provided, the carer is an asset to the team. We are very thankful for all the support given .

The staff are encouraging and caring, taking care not to force the resident to do anything. If they cannot get the resident to do something, they will always ask me to encourage the resident to join in with an appropriate activity. All in all I am satisfied the resident is getting good care at the home.

I find that my mother is looked after with politeness and dignity. Her care needs are met adequately by the staff who are patient and kind with her. I find it easy to communicate with the staff and management who are always quick to address any issues I might raise.

My mother was warmly welcomed into Sancroft Hall at the end if January. All the staff have shown great care, respect and friendliness. My mother hs enjoyed the entertainment provided. The managers have looked after my mum's health very well arranging the doctor to visit when necessary. As a relative, I have been treated with the same consideration as my mother and thank Sancroft Hall for taking such good care of her.

It is very pleasing to have my mother in Sancroft Hall. She has been here for 11 years and her care has been exemplary. The staff are well trained and the care and support from them is very praiseworthy.
