Sancroft Hall is a residential home for older people and specialises in providing care for those living with dementia.

The home has a range of accommodation all with en-suite facilities and 24hour support offering spacious interiors, landscaped gardens and its own sun lounge.

The home also provides a variety of home-cooked meals from its main and vegetarian kitchens.

There are extensive landscaped gardens, a hairdressing salon and a small shop run by residents’.

Sancroft Hall's exceptional care team ensures that residents receive excellent levels of care within a homely and welcoming environment.

The primary aim is to create a home for older people who can no longer manage in their own homes. Staff want all residents to live as they would wish to and support this by respecting their individuality, independence and personal dignity.

The home is registered for sixty-two service users, within six groups all with own lounge and dining areas; with three residential groups specifically set up for Asian Elders.

Situated within Harrow and at the heart of the local community, Sandcroft Hall welcome visitors to experience the warm and friendly atmosphere. The home encourages the residents to go out and about in the community with family and friends and to engage in those activities that they enjoy.

Alternatively, residents can invite friends and family into the home for a chat over a cup of tea or coffee or join in the many activities offered within the home or out and about in the community.

The home manager has a wealth of experience in delivering high-quality care and is supported by a highly trained care staff team who support residents to the very highest standards.

My mother moved to Sancroft in November 2019. Obviously apprehensive to start with, but soon put to ease by the wonderful staff and the homely atmosphere. She can't praise the quality of care, staff and food high enough.
She has been encouraged to take part in various activities and looks forward to
it.
My thanks to all the staff at Sancroft for doing such a wonderful job with dedication.

My stepdad has been staying at Sancroft for a year now. I find it upsetting that he is in a home at all, but the decisions were out of my hands at present. However, the staff at the home have looked after him so well and he appears happy, albeit confused, when I see him, that I feel much happier. The
staff are always laughing and joking with him; I’m sure he drives them up the wall! Especially as he thinks he is running the place! I know he is safe and well and has even put on some weight. I struggle and feel guilty as it is, but if he were somewhere that made him unhappy, I would be heartbroken, so may I take this opportunity to say, thank you, Sancroft, for looking after him.

My mum was admitted to Sancroft in November 2020 at the time of the pandemic.
As a family, we were worried about how she would settle in, as there were restrictions on visiting, we had to have full trust in the staff at Sancroft.
I am happy to say, Mum settled in very well, and the staff are very
well trained in Dementia care, and Mum was always happy when I spoke to her. The staff are kind and professional; they have always responded to any questions I may have in a professional manner. Mum is very happy at the care home, as there is an Asian unit, she feels at home and has made friends - there is always someone to talk to.


I would highly recommend Sancroft and can not thank the staff enough for all they do, especially in the challenging times we are facing. Keep up the excellent work!

Every time we visit my father, he says he is very happy at Sancroft and thanks us for finding him such a good care home. He has no complaints and enjoys the food, gardens, facilities, company of other residents and organised activities. He has often said that when residents from other care homes visited
Sancroft (pre-pandemic), they always commented how nice it was.

Mum moved to Sancroft at 95, and though she was only there for a few weeks, she was very happy and settled. She always looked well-groomed and happy.

I have been absolutely over the moon with the quality of care that my elderly mother has received since making Sancroft her new home in January of 2021. It was a very worrying and traumatic time for our family, with my father very unwell and no longer able to care for his wife. But the moment my mum
arrived at Sancroft and was shown to her room, our fears faded away and were replaced by a peace of mind that we hadn’t had in a long while.
The level of care, compassion and communication that Sancroft offers is so heartwarming, from the management team to the care team and reception, everyone is so nice. Mum has settled really well and actually improved with the contact, stimulation and comfort that she needed for a better quality of life in her later years. She is more chatty and generally happier than in a long while. And even though the pandemic has made things difficult, the Sancroft staff have done their best to safely enable and indeed encourage family contact. Thank you.

Ever since my mother arrived, she has been treated as a part of the family.
They completely understand her needs and adjust her day to day living to suit them.


As she suffers from dementia, we passed on our experience and opinion (based on her living independently at home up until she became a resident)

of the best way we have found to manage her day to day living.
All of the staff listened and embraced our suggestions.
If my mother has been upset or confused, they have been there to make her feel safe and loved.


She has now settled in brilliantly and is so much happier than when she arrived.
Whenever we have rung with concerns, someone has always been able to update us on how she is and what they are doing to make things even better for her.


We can highly recommend for peace of mind


My old mum is back again (as much as possible) and happy living there and the whole family cannot speak highly enough of the care, love and attention she has received and is continuing to get.

Throughout this worrying time, I have been certain that the staff at Sancroft have always had my mother's best interests at heart and have kept her safe and well. They always try to accommodate visits/requests and are very helpful with requests from my elderly father, who has been extremely worried
over the last few months.
The carer who usually deals with my mum are friendly and helpful, and I am grateful for her input and approachable manner.
The home is run by dedicated and hard-working managers/carers/admin staff and cleaners, and I am very happy with the service we have received from them all.

Whilst making the decision to find a residential care home for an elderly relative suffering from Alzheimer's is extremely difficult, I had no hesitation in choosing Sancroft. My mother then was then in her late 90s, so took a little while to settle in, but once she was used to the routine there she
appeared to be quite comfortable. We, as a family, were very impressed by the care all the staff and management showed in looking after my mother... her personal care and dietary needs were well met. On special occasions such as Diwali or Christmas, family and friends were encouraged to visit and join in the celebrations with the residents. Visiting hours were never restricted. We were always welcomed at any time, which helped in feeling we were visiting home and not an institution. My mother lived to be 100, and together with the management and staff organised a wonderful party for her to celebrate with family and residents, which we are certain she enjoyed, as much as we did.

My mother was admitted during the pandemic, and she settled in quickly due to the welcoming, friendly and caring nature of staff of Sancroft. She continues to be treated with respect and dignity and receives good medical care. The management and staff look after residents as part of their extended family
and have been very helpful and accommodating in the difficult Covid circumstances, thus giving family peace of mind. The food served to residents is good and varied, and my mother is very happy with it. Feedback is regularly obtained from the residents. Residents are encouraged to take part in regular social and fitness activities. Staff continually monitor the wellbeing of residents. The management team have ongoing programmes for upgrading facilities for the benefit of residents. Overall, my mother is happy and well looked after at Sancroft, and this is important to our family.

I’m very happy with the service provided by Sancroft Community Care Home. The standard of hygiene is very high. Lots of antibacterial products in each room. Visiting time during COVID could be difficult, but thanks to an incredible member of staff, it was pleasant and safe. The visiting room is cleaned
before we enter the room, sprayed with antibacterial products and a shielding screen is being installed to protect everyone. Highly recommend Sancroft Community Care Home.

A friend of mine has been in Sancroft Community Care Home and she settled perfectly thanks to the staff, who are excellent. She has dementia and she seems to be really happy as she is being treated with kindness and compassion. She loves to spend time with other residents and she really enjoys the food.
The rooms are nice and clean with a garden view. I couldn’t be happier with Sancroft Care Home, especially during the COVID pandemic. There are video calls available as well as visits in the special visiting room. Seeing her happy - that’s the most important. I know she is in good hands.

My mum, during COVID-19 was feeling unwell so she advised to go for 15 days rest. But the treatment and care was so amazing, my mum refused to return to her home and decided to stay. She complimented the clean room, food and the staff who care for her in a very personal manner. She was treated as though
she was family.
I am very relieved that she is in such good hands.
Must thank all the staff for looking after my mother in such a pleasant manner. Always smiling.

I believe my late father enjoyed his 8-months in Sancroft Community Care Home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The standard of care is high and all residents are treated with the utmost dignity. I was happy with my late father’s room. It was regularly cleaned, and he had a garden view. The
team at Sancroft were extremely accommodating. My husband and I usually visited with Sri Lankan food. The staff provided this to him during his mealtimes without a problem. Having lived in Sri Lanka for most of his life, we deeply appreciated the care home’s attempts to maintain this connection to his culture. The staff at Sancroft would regularly go beyond the call of duty. It meant a lot to my father that there were a couple of members of staff he could speak to in (Tamil) his mother tongue. My father had dementia, and we took great care in choosing a care home for him. I could not be happier with our choice of Sancroft Community Care home. Thank you for your support.

This is an extremely well-run care home with excellent caring staff from managers, carers, reception, housekeeping, kitchen, and all other staff. My mother has been at Sancroft for nearly three years and has dementia. She is happy and well cared for, which is a great comfort to myself and my family.
Sancroft has a pleasant homely atmosphere and I would highly recommend it. Thank you.

The home is well presented and clean. It is well managed and all of the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about my relative and her care needs. Sancroft has a homely and comfortable feel about it. From the first visit, we felt it was 'right' for our mum and has proved to be. We can rest assured that she is well cared for and looked after, always clean and tidy whenever we visit and we do not need to worry about her as we leave her. The staff
are all very pleasant and approachable, always around to talk to and always find time for us to answer any questions that we may have. As a family, we are very happy with Sancroft Care for our mum.

My nan has been in the dementia unit for just over a year and whilst it is heartbreaking to see her in the grips of this disease, it is a great comfort to me and my family to see how wonderfully she is cared for. The cleanliness of the care home is second to none and all the staff that I have encountered
are just fantastic. To see the way they look after and interact with my Nan and the dignity they give her is brilliant. It's a comfort to know that she is well looked after and in the best possible hands.
