Sancroft Hall is a residential home for older people and specialises in providing care for those living with dementia.

The home has a range of accommodation all with en-suite facilities and 24hour support offering spacious interiors, landscaped gardens and its own sun lounge.

The home also provides a variety of home-cooked meals from its main and vegetarian kitchens.

There are extensive landscaped gardens, a hairdressing salon and a small shop run by residents’.

Sancroft Hall's exceptional care team ensures that residents receive excellent levels of care within a homely and welcoming environment.

The primary aim is to create a home for older people who can no longer manage in their own homes. Staff want all residents to live as they would wish to and support this by respecting their individuality, independence and personal dignity.

The home is registered for sixty-two service users, within six groups all with own lounge and dining areas; with three residential groups specifically set up for Asian Elders.

Situated within Harrow and at the heart of the local community, Sandcroft Hall welcome visitors to experience the warm and friendly atmosphere. The home encourages the residents to go out and about in the community with family and friends and to engage in those activities that they enjoy.

Alternatively, residents can invite friends and family into the home for a chat over a cup of tea or coffee or join in the many activities offered within the home or out and about in the community.

The home manager has a wealth of experience in delivering high-quality care and is supported by a highly trained care staff team who support residents to the very highest standards.

My mother-in-law moved to Sancroft in January 2021 when she could no longer cope at home. Since moving to Sancroft, she is like a different person. She is so happy and carefree, she’s got a whole new lease of life. When we visit, she’s always keen to tell us about all of the wonderful activities she’s
been taking part in, tells us how kind and caring the staff are and how much she enjoys everything about living there. She recently celebrated her 90th birthday, and Sancroft put on a celebration for her and made her feel so special. She told us that she hopes she lives to 100 because she’s “having the time of her life!”
I can hardly put into words how amazing Sancroft has been, and we are all so grateful for everything they do to make the residents happy. They always go the extra mile!

My grandma's care at Sancroft has been fantastic, and she appears very happy to be there, after moving from her own flat due to a diagnosis of Alzheimer's.
Any fears and worries about my grandma moving to a care home quickly vanished when seeing how the staff and the manager cared for her in a person-centred
way.
Sancroft always looks very presentable, and my grandma's room is always kept clean and tidy, which is how my grandma would have kept her room before her diagnosis, so this is very important to us as her family.
We are happy with the care provided by Sancroft and pleased with the great communication from the manager.

The home is absolutely excellent. The staff are very caring and do a great job.
My mother has been there for several years, and we are happy that she is so well looked after.
We are well informed about everything that happens in the home, and that gives us great assurance.

My mother was very happy with Sancroft Community Centre, and the service by all staff all departments.
Everybody made her very welcome and looks after. The highest standards, it's a very hygiene place. Excellent food.

Sancroft has treated my mother-in-law so well for nearly 3-years now. Sadly she has to move on to a nursing home as her needs have increased dramatically. The manager has been so kind and thoughtful throughout. All the staff have been caring and have made her time at Sancroft the best they could. She
has been calm and content while there. Thank you for all your hard work.

My great aunt was at Sancroft for many years and was well looked after by the staff, who treated her like a friend. She enjoyed chatting with them, and they were so kind in taking her to church, shopping, etc. Sadly she passed away just before Xmas. The staff were kind and understanding, even attending
the funeral. I am more than happy to recommend Sancroft Hall.

My lovely aunt with dementia has been with Sancroft Care Home for the past three years, and without any doubt, I highly recommend it, which is very well led by a dedicated and professional care home management team with very friendly, great caring, communication with willing staff full of joy and always
providing a loving environment - going the extra mile to ensure the residents are well looked after and getting the best of the care home facilities. The care home is extremely well maintained with lovely gardens, spotless, clean, fantastic activities with year-round all sorts of religious celebrations, delicious food menus for the residents, laundry etc, name it all, the care facilities service has been a fantastic experience to date. I sincerely, truly and proudly so thankful from top to bottom of these excellent individuals, giving home to home caring service. Well done, once again, for the excellent services, and many thanks, once again, to all, especially the hardworking carers in the dementia ward. God bless you.

My mother-in-law was in a very bad condition before she came to Sancroft Hall. Her son and myself live in Austria, and through the Covid situation, it has not been possible for us at all to visit her for the past year and a half. Just before it was finally possible for visitors from Austria to travel
to England, Mum fell down in her flat and was brought to the hospital. Unfortunately, there, she was infected with Covid and was isolated for a long time. When we came in September, she was still in isolation at your place, but at least we could talk to the manager, and she helped us already at this time a great deal. Now, we came again in November and could not believe how Mum has blossomed and was lively again. We are very thankful knowing that she is in a loving and caring surrounding. Thank you to the entire staff, above all, the manager.

My mother has advanced Alzheimers, and her condition became untenable for her to remain in her flat. Anyone who has ever had to make the decision to move a loved one into full time care knows what a difficult and stressful time it is.
My sister and I visited Sancroft Hall, and from the first minute
of being there, we knew this was somewhere our mother would be happy to be. The care home is spotlessly clean, the atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and all of the staff are kind and caring.
We are so pleased that we chose Sancroft Hall. Mum is really settled and loves her large, comfortable room. Meals are varied and tasty, and everyone is encouraged to join in with the planned activities.
Every time I have visited, the staff at Sancroft Hall have always been so helpful, in particular, the manager.
Thank you to everyone at Sancroft Hall for making this difficult time so much easier and for caring for our mother.

I visited my mother-in-law at Sancroft and was extremely impressed by the atmosphere. All the residents were busy in activities and looked engaged and happy, and the staff were interacting with them. Everything was very clean and well maintained and the decorations in the reception area made it very
welcoming and bright, and an excellent idea for those with Alzheimers. Best of all was to spend time with my mother-in-law, who had recently moved in and see how relaxed and happy she was, as know it has been very difficult for her to leave her home of 20-years. She has settled so quickly and is already engaging in the activities and praising the way the staff care for her.

My mother has recently moved into Sancroft, and the welcome she was given was so reassuring. On the day of her arrival, she was greeted by the manager and staff wishing her joy and happiness in her new home, a cup of tea and biscuits by her side within minutes of moving in; she felt so special. Her
bedroom was spotless and had obviously been cleaned, aired and prepared to a high standard. The manager dealt with an issue regarding my mother's welfare in a way that made it very clear that the rights and treatment of residents at Sancroft are paramount, and their welfare is put first, beyond everything else. I was very worried about my mother moving into a care home, but this has changed my perception, and know that at Sancroft, she will receive the 24-hour care she now needs for her Alzheimer's.

I come once a month as a volunteer to do the residents hair. They have such lovely staff; it is a clean and tidy care home. It feels very homely, and everyone is most helpful and faultless, also the manager is always friendly and approachable.

A tremendous amount of kindness has been shown to my father since he joined the Sancroft 'family' in 2019.
The entire team have been dedicated to the level of care that they provide, and they have gone above and beyond on far too numerous occasions to recount. Knowing that my father was being cared
for in such a warm environment afforded our family a great deal of peace of mind.
I cannot recommend this wonderful care home enough; the team are magic!

I am a volunteer entertainer at Sancroft.
The residents have been a joy to meet and sing for.
The staff go above and beyond to provide a caring, compassionate and welcoming environment with activities, entertainment and ongoing support.
Sancroft has a very well-led management team, who care deeply
for the resident's well-being, and it is apparent that they support their staff in their day-to-day duties.
Myself and my friend have a great time when performing for the residents and staff and are always welcomed and well-received. Look forward to seeing you all on future occasions.

As a volunteer at Sancroft, it was a wonderful experience in working with the carers and the residents. Sancroft provides a great level of care and compassion towards its residents and offers a range of fun activities led by an enthusiastic team. The home is run by a dedicated and friendly management

I was transferred directly from the hospital to Sancroft as I needed ongoing care and was unable to cope on my own. This was a revelation to me; everybody was so friendly and happy to help and, quite frankly, I was spoiled rotten during my stay. The carers were all very dedicated, efficient and hard-working
and with good senses of humour. I had cups of tea brought to me at the drop of a hat, at any time, along with smiles and biscuits. I cannot praise too highly this care home, and should I ever need to move to one on a more permanent basis, I would look no further than here. The managers are approachable, helpful and friendly, and the carers are simply magnificent. I am very grateful for all that they did for me, and I was sorry to say goodbye to many staff members.

After visiting a few care homes on behalf of my friend, Sancroft stood out as it had a lovely feel about it. It looked clean, comfortable and well cared for. My friend needed to recover from her time in hospital, and the 14-days quarantine suited her perfectly. I was so relieved when she told me about
her comfy bed and how friendly the staff were. They let her rest, encouraged her to eat and later got her interested in the exercise classes. She enjoyed the choices on the Asian menu, especially. My friend came out of Sancroft with a very positive attitude about care homes. This is all down to the lovely way the staff care about the residents. Led by the manager, who runs a positive and kindly crew.

My mother moved to Sancroft in November 2019. Obviously apprehensive to start with, but soon put to ease by the wonderful staff and the homely atmosphere. She can't praise the quality of care, staff and food high enough.
She has been encouraged to take part in various activities and looks forward to
it.

My stepdad has been staying at Sancroft for a year now. I find it upsetting that he is in a home at all, but the decisions were out of my hands at present. However, the staff at the home have looked after him so well and he appears happy, albeit confused, when I see him, that I feel much happier. The
staff are always laughing and joking with him; I’m sure he drives them up the wall! Especially as he thinks he is running the place! I know he is safe and well and has even put on some weight. I struggle and feel guilty as it is, but if he were somewhere that made him unhappy, I would be heartbroken, so may I take this opportunity to say, thank you, Sancroft, for looking after him.

My mum was admitted to Sancroft in November 2020 at the time of the pandemic.
As a family, we were worried about how she would settle in, as there were restrictions on visiting, we had to have full trust in the staff at Sancroft.
I am happy to say, Mum settled in very well, and the staff are very
well trained in Dementia care, and Mum was always happy when I spoke to her. The staff are kind and professional; they have always responded to any questions I may have in a professional manner. Mum is very happy at the care home, as there is an Asian unit, she feels at home and has made friends - there is always someone to talk to.


I would highly recommend Sancroft and can not thank the staff enough for all they do, especially in the challenging times we are facing. Keep up the excellent work!
