Review from Gill W (Daughter of Resident) published on 10 January 2017 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

My father was carefully assessed before being offered a place. He was made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for members of staff. Family and visitors were made to feel very welcome. My father was treated with dignity and respect. He was closely monitored and appropriate medical intervention was sought whenever necessary. The manager and staff were extremely helpful at the end of my father's life. I don't feel they could have done any more to make his short stay more comfortable and peaceful.

Overall Experience
I did a review before while my mum was alive, this one relates to the great care my mother received while she was dying and the care my sister and I received during this difficult time, we were all well looked after by caring thoughtful staff. Mummy died in what for two years had been her home, she liked the companionship, her room with her own furniture, she seemed to feel safe and comfortable .

The home is nice and small and feels as much like a home as it can be. I would highly recommend it.

Overall Experience
My mother became a resident in August 2015. The manager and staff made her feel so welcome, their care and attention is exceptional.

When visiting Mum it is very apparent the staff love their job, they have time for everyone, nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is exceptional, it's the first thing my Mum tells everyone when they visit. The home is always very clean and their are never any unpleasant odours lurking around.
