Zunaira started working in the care sector in 2020 after coming out of retail. She wanted to do something more rewarding and joined the old school house working on the floor and covering shifts. She worked as a carer and soon she became a valuable member of the staff. She completed her level 4 in care and is now working towards her level 5 in adult care.
She has put into place computer-based software care plans which ensure all information is recorded correctly and quickly on devices. It also frees up time for carers from the old handwritten reports and notes.
Zunaira also manages the healthcare needs of all the service users as well as medication needs and audits. She also works alongside the home manager to ensure that all residents are getting a high standard of care. She also keeps the families informed of any healthcare changes. or support required for the residents
