What a wonderful experience visiting my nan at The Corner House was.
Staff were so welcoming and decor is warm and welcoming.
Nan was busy arranging flowers when I arrived and said there is always plenty to do.

I look forward to attending the bazaar.

I arrived at Corner House having broken my leg in three places below the knee at aged 93 years. My leg was in a cast and I had spent several weeks in hospital, then sent home with a care package in place which was not successful.
I became very tired and low in mood. When I was in Corner House I felt genuinely cared for, encouraged to have physio and received nothing but the best care at all times.

I am sorry to leave.

What a lovely home Corner House is to visit.
I have been going to Corner House for a long time and have seen throughout that time hard work and dedication from the staff!
The residents are put first and the home is like a little community of its own.

Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a home for their relatives or friends.

Overall Experience
Since the new manager and assistant manager have taken over, there has been a marked improvement. My Dad's room is now always clean and tidy, there was a problem with cleanliness in his room, after pointing this out to the new management it was rectified and there have been no more problems.
My Dad is so well looked after, the care staff cannot be more kind and helpful nothing is too much trouble. He is very happy and loves all the activities and is encouraged to join in, there is always something going on, ie social afternoons, evenings, music, carpet bowls, bingo, occasional outings and lots more. Also, the meals are excellent and there is always snacks, teas and coffees available day and night.

My Dad has been a resident for almost 2 years and couldn't be happier, and we as a family can rest assured that he is safe and comfortable with lots of friends to keep him company, such peace of mind is priceless. Thank you to all the lovely staff and management of Cornerhouse.
