Despite being blind and bedbound, my mother has been well cared for, for the past three and a half years. Although, she would like more company when possible.

I feel completely confident that my mum is well cared for. The staff are always happy to answer questions about her care or welfare and provide reassurance when needed. I believe the home is very well managed and goes to a good deal of trouble to draw the surrounding community in. If I were to become a resident at a home, I would hope it was Luff House.

Overall Experience

Mum was made to feel very welcome. Staff treated her with affection and patience. Mum even became confident enough to join in some activities - something she's never done before. The hummingbird lady was lovely. Time was always found for me if I wanted to discuss anything. When a problem arose, staff were quick to acknowledge the issue and deal with it effectively, which was reassuring. Above all was the Christian atmosphere which Mum had wanted to experience in her final years.

Overall Experience

My mother was treated with care and dignity and had no complaints about any aspect of Luff House itself or the staff. I was made to feel welcome on my visits and spent many a happy hour there chatting to residents and staff. I would not hesitate to have mum cared for by Luff House should the occasion arise.
