Its a happy home, only thing sometimes is lack of communication about brother feed back of how he is update of appointments and meetings, of his future etc. Needs to be encouraged to do more get out more trips, and someone to talk to, he gets lovely but a great care home overall.

I cannot recommend Mid-Meadows highly enough. My sister has been a resident since 2022. Her age was 55 then.
The whole community is fabulous. She does so much more than she did when she lived with our parents.
From the amazing staff member who organises entertainment and activities to the fabulous
care staff and catering staff, it really is 10 out of 10.
She has a really lovely friendship group with other residents that has made such a difference.

I think the home is very good because the staff look after us all also they are friendly and kind. They are good at their jobs. I think one member of staff is very good with personality, and he’s very good at looking after people in the house. Another member of staff is very good; she takes good care
of everyone in the house. I am certified for the jobs that they’re doing, and I think it’s amazing how they do it, and I like each and every one of them.

The care he received at Mid Meadows was absolutely outstanding, and the staff are incredible.

My partner and I had a nephew as one of your clients and I am glad to send a glowing review of the care and friendship he received during his time there. Unfortunately, he has passed away recently and your staff invited everyone at the funeral back to the home where they had laid on food and drink (non-alcoholic
lol) and karaoke, which was a favourite of our nephew. The whole staff and your other clients were amazing and they made everyone welcome and were so friendly, they were just like family members. During our nephew's time there, your staff made him extremely happy and comfortable and he enjoyed every minute of his time there and I would have no hesitation in recommending Mid Meadows at Frinton as an outstanding care home. Please send our congratulations on the outstanding job they are doing for all the clients.

My son was a resident of Mid Meadows for eleven years. He was very happy and the care he received was of the highest standard. When he was diagnosed with a terminal illness, all the staff went the extra mile to make sure he was comfortable and happy. At Mid Meadows, the staff and residents became my
sons extended family. He loved them all and they all loved him. We as a family are eternally grateful for the excellent care he received.

My son had been a resident at Mid Meadows for nine years. He was receiving excellent end of life care in the palce that he thought of as home. He was supported by carers that he trusted and died peacefully. I was kept fully informed of the situation. As I life in Hampshire the manager was particularly
helpful in collecting death certificates and assisting with local funeral arrangements.

Mid Meadows has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. All the residents appear to be happy and well entertained.


The staff I have encountered so far seem to know my cousin very well and try very hard to make her wishes come true. Their care is genuine.

Some staff are not as good as others, but the majority are fine.
The summer activities are my favourite at Mid Meadows, I really enjoyed using the Boma7.
Duxford air show and the air show at Clacton-on sea.

Care staff are nice and the activities are good. Close to the seafront. We can go to the shops which are really local. Get to go out on the bus and go places.

Very few homes that are for the disabled and even less who do it well. Rooms are fitted with overhead hoists as well as any other equipment needed. Hobbies are encouraged. Outside trips are arranged. All residents are kept clean. All laundry is taken when used and returned clean and fresh. Rooms are

Beverley began her career as a carer when she was just 19-years-old. From a care worker, Bev made her way to the Senior Carer role before training to be a Deputy Manager and then a registered home manager.


One of Bev's favourite memories of care is granting a resident's final wish by arranging a special visit to Colchester Zoo to allow the resident to achieve their dream of feeding a tiger.


Bev believes what makes Mid Meadows special is the staff's ability to personalise activities to our resident's individually, ensuring regardless of mobility, everyone is catered to with the person-centred approach.
