Staff always helpful and friendly , home is kept very clean, my son is very happy there,if there is any problem management is quick to meet with me and my son to sort that problem out. I am very happy with the way residents are look afterwards

MY sister appeared to be very happy; she usually is. She is well cared for and has a very good relationship with the staff. The staff are very friendly and inviting, and always find the time to attend to my sister's needs. Her room and general facilities are clean and tidy.

My elderly brother moved here from a larger residential home where he had lived quite happily for many years, but which no longer suited him and where he was displaying signs of distress.
Moving to Belamacanda has turned out to be the best thing for him. Its smaller setting with fewer residents with
complicated needs, gives it a more homely feel to where he was before, and now my brother is much happier and calmer. The staff are all very friendly and attentive, and makes us welcome when we visit.

Its a happy home, only thing sometimes is lack of communication about brother feed back of how he is update of appointments and meetings, of his future etc. Needs to be encouraged to do more get out more trips, and someone to talk to, he gets lovely but a great care home overall.

My brother has been a resident at Westfield House for 6 years and I visit regularly, often unannounced. I have nothing negative to stay. The staff are professional, caring and friendly. Management are efficient and approachable. Activities are varied and plenty.
The lack of a downstairs shower room
is a downside for some.

Our son has been a resident at Westfield House since 2018. During that time he has settled down and matured into a young adult. All the staff are welcoming when I enter, always offering me a chair when I come visit my grandmother and always making sure we are offered a drink and making sure she's okay at all times by ensuring she's got a drink and she's comfortable in her chair.

I cannot recommend Mid-Meadows highly enough. My sister has been a resident since 2022. Her age was 55 then.
The whole community is fabulous. She does so much more than she did when she lived with our parents.
From the amazing staff member who organises entertainment and activities to the fabulous
care staff and catering staff, it really is 10 out of 10.
She has a really lovely friendship group with other residents that has made such a difference.

The day staff are absolutely brilliant nothing is too much to help with all managers/seniors are so lovely too. So caring kind and patient would definitely recommend someone come for respite or to stay here, the residents are so kind too, and there are also lots of fun activities to do.

I became a resident last month, I have been made to feel welcome, all the carers and other staff are so supportive, I feel safe here.
Moving to Clacton from Braintree was something I had to do as I wanted a fresh start, plus with my mobility problems, I know that I will get the help I need.

The first time I visited him, there was a very friendly welcome from both residents and staff, superbly equipped and very clean. I quickly got the distinct impression it was like a big family all living under the same

My husband and I are delighted with the care and support that my brother receives from the manager and his staff. He recently had a stay in hospital where the staff stayed with him 24 hours because he is non-verbal and was very frightened. We cannot thank them enough.

Due to our daughter's autistic spectrum behaviours, she is difficult to integrate socially, but she appears to be settling and we are optimistic that she will become more integrated in the future, as she did manager to integrate while attending day care.
