I visited my mother today; prior to my visits, the day was booked in advance. I was screened by way of Coronavirus; a lateral flow test, in which I waited for the results in 30-minutes. I'm happy with Spring Lodge following the safety measures and are in place. I saw my mom with a clear screen shield between us to adhere to the social distancing/no contact rules. Mom is very much happy living in Spring Lodge. The staff are friendly, and I know and feel she is getting great care.

I would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Spring Lodge who cared for my Auntie for the best part of seven years. The home is always clean, the meals are first class, and the care given is with compassion and empathy. The rooms are clean, tidy, and there is a real homely feel about the place. Nothing was too much trouble for the manager and her team, and I could not recommend Spring Lodge highly enough.

I think very highly of this home. The strongest element is the staff and management, all of whom are highly diligent, professional and caring, with very positive attitudes. Visits by relatives, especially Sunday lunch are encouraged. Food is good and varied. Entertainments and activities are usually organised every day (I write as lockdown due to the virus continues thus affecting this aspect). The premises are converted from a residential type property so think cosy rather than clinical. The Home has good contacts with the local GP practice and it is easier for my father to get seen here than from outside. My father's mobility, hearing and sight have been deteriorating steadily, and great efforts have been made to deal with this. Altogether, very pleased with the service.

I find this care home a very professional and friendly place to be. The staff are always on hand and happy to help wherever it is needed. The care, food, cleanliness and well being is, in my opinion, outstanding and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or have a relative become a resident.

Generally, after 3 years my mother (92) is comfortable, safe and well looked after. The hardest part is getting her to accept she needs help. Being not very mobile and now partially sighted makes her life difficult but the staff are good and kind when called upon. Very good manager as well.

The home is always warm and welcoming. It is maintained to a good standard. The staff seem to have the wellbeing of the residents at the heart of what they do. As a visitor, I'm always welcomed and usually offered a drink.

When I go to pick up my sister the carers are always pleasant and interested in where we are going and has my sister got her medication to take out (tablet). The home itself is very bright and clean. It never smells unsavoury and the residents are clean and well cared for. Other residents talk to visitors and seem happy in their environment.

My aunt has been a resident of Spring Lodge for approximately 3 months. This is her third try at residential care. Spring Lodge is a wonderful caring home. The manager and carers are dedicated to making the residents happy, all residents are treated with dignity. My aunt certainly does not want to leave, ever! The home is spotless, comfortable and the food is fantastic. I cannot praise this home highly enough. We attended the Christmas party recently, which was a delight.

I would recommend spring Lodge to anyone in need of care. The staff are so kind and caring. My husband is happy and content. I have no worries at all for his care. I have just returned after six weeks in Australia and my husband is looking so well, content and happy. I have no worries leaving his care at any time in the care of the staff.

My great Nan is a resident at Spring lodge. It was her 97th birthday and all the staff brought a cake in with candles, cards and flowers for her. The staff are so friendly and caring and offered us refreshments. We're made welcome at whatever time we turn up. She looks so well.

The house and garden is immaculate. She enjoys the entertainment which brightens up her day. Also has her hair done weekly. At 17 I'm thinking about booking in soon!

My grandma took residence in Spring Lodge 1 year ago. Although she was reluctant to go into a care home initially, she soon settled in. The staff are all lovely and always have a friendly manner. As a visitor I am always greeted politely and offered a drink. The home always smells fresh and clean and grandma reports the food is good. They even stock her own favourite bread. Her room is a good size and is kept clean and tidy. I'm pleased she is being cared for so well.
