My father moved into the home before Christmas after an extended stay in the hospital. The manager and his team have looked after him really well, helping him with his rehabilitation. He looks much better and enjoys his meals and the many organised activities. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to keep us informed and make us feel welcome when we visit. It's a very professional and caring environment.
I cannot fault the home in any way or recommend it highly enough. The staff go above and beyond, very friendly and accessible at all times. My conversations with the residents are all positive and fill me with confidence that the best care is being given.
I came into the home in October, and the staff made me feel very welcome and settled in very quickly. I have taken part in all the activities, which I find help me meet the other residents. Brilliant fireworks display, plus Christmas Light switch on. I am coming up to four months n the home and have settled in very well. I see more people and have more social contact than I did at my own home.
During his first months, he has been very well cared for.
He settled in well right away, and the staff are very kind and welcoming.
He has also enjoyed the number of activities which the home put on for its residents.
The home is very well run, with a very caring staff and management team.
My mother has been at Stanway Green Lodge for three years, and during that time has been consistently well cared for. The staff are kind and welcoming, and the home is exceptionally well managed. Rooms were recently recarpeted, and much has been done to improve the gardens.
The food is very good, and they provide a number of activities, and I have been on several outside visits, which were great fun.
Overall, I am very happy with the care and attention I receive.
I have lived here for over five years and have always been happy and contented. If I was not happy, I would not be here. The staff are lovely and very caring. The management goes above what is needed. Anything I ask for is given to me. I am very happy here.
I always receive a friendly welcome when I visit Stanway Green to see my relative. The staff all seem friendly and competent and obviously know the needs and requirements of the residents they look after. I like the fact that there are only 30 rooms as it makes it feel more of a home environment and the gardens are well maintained and enjoyable for everyone. I am kept well informed about the health and requirements of my relative by the manager, and I know that I can contact them directly if I have any concerns. The home has been very patient with issues we have had to sort out funding, and this has been appreciated.
Overall, we are delighted with the care my mother has received and cannot recommend the staff and management highly enough.
My father-in-law is always on the phone telling me of the great activities they do - he loves it!
The staff are brilliant, so polite and caring. Couldn't fault it if I tried.
Dad moved from Scotland to Stanway Green Lodge so quite an upheaval, to say the least. The team have been nothing less than welcoming and helpful from the moment Dad arrived. He settled in well and being allowed some personal items helped greatly. He enjoys getting to know others through activities provided in a friendly environment, and yet he still enjoys the privacy of his own room and facilities. The team have also helped me with the transition of moving Dad into care and has provided me with good advice on several occasions. He is cared for very professionally by a great team. I am glad we chose Stanway for Dad and would definitely recommend to others.
My mother came to the home after a short hospital stay. She has settled in very quickly. Being allowed some of her furniture and personal possessions has helped her to feel at home. The owner and all of the staff are very friendly and professional.
However, both the manager and staff were brilliant, and she was well cared for from the start, and her health did improve quickly.
Throughout the time my aunt has been, she has received excellent care, and I cannot praise the staff enough.
My mother has been a resident of Stanway Green Lodge for over 6 months now and I’m very satisfied with the care and support she has received. The staff are all very friendly and caring and create a very welcoming environment. My mother quickly settled into Stanway Green Lodge and enjoys the easy living it provides.
My mother has settled into Stanway Green Lodge well and seems happy in her new environment. She participates in the activities.
Mum feels at home.
Mum (92 years old) moved into Stanway Green Lodge in October 2018 following a life-changing fall. The staff and management/owner were fantastic. They were caring and considerate for both Mum's and our needs and concerns. Mum passed away within 24 hours of contracting bronchial pneumonia. All efforts by staff to treat Mum (medication and nursing) were identified. Mum went peacefully in the care of one of the senior members of staff. I would wholeheartedly recommend Stanway Green Lodge.
Activities are arranged every afternoon and all residents are encouraged - but not forced - to take part. There are many special events organised throughout the year such as a Rock and Roll party, Chinese New Year celebrations, Shrove Tuesday pancake tasting, Red Nose Day, Christmas party, Summer Garden Party - to name but a few. Entertainers come and serenade the residents as well as visiting choirs, music groups and local schools. Residents’ relatives are always welcome to join these events!
My mother has been resident at Stanway Green Lodge for five weeks now. In such a short time she has settled in very well despite initial apprehension at leaving her home of 40 years. All the staff are friendly and patient and her needs are catered for in a caring manner. She enjoys the food and the activities put on at the home. Her room is pleasant and furnished well and we have brought in personal articles to make it feel more like home for her.
My mother has been a resident at Stanway Green Lodge since November 2018. She settled in quickly and is very happy. The home has a lovely atmosphere and is very clean and bright. The staff are brilliant and so helpful and friendly. Food is good and there are regular activities for everyone to enjoy as well as lovely gardens to look out on. I am very glad I chose this home for my mother and would certainly recommend it to others. 5 * care!
