Overall Experience

My husband has been at Woodland Court for almost a year now and has settled in very well. He is as happy as can be expected living away from his own home and gets on well with the staff who are all very kind and supportive of both him and myself. I visit everyday along with several other relatives and am always greeted with a welcome from the staff. The manager is very approachable. She holds a meeting with relatives every other Tuesday when she updates us with what is happening in the home and we can discuss any concerns or ideas for improvements with her. Or you can talk to her privately at anytime. She always listens and does her best to address your requests. Am I pleased with the care my husband gets at Woodland Court, Most definitely

Woodland Court is a lovely run care home, the staff are so friendly, welcoming and a pleasure to talk to, they are so patient with the elderly, they engage in conversation on a one-to-one and even with groups of them. The level of care is outstanding, every one you could ask, for your loved ones, they go above and beyond to make sure our loved one's are happy and safe. I would highly recommend to anyone this care home. Great job everyone that works here. Thank you for all you do to make this place work so well.

Overall Experience

I have been visiting my friend in Woodland Court for just over a year now. The home itself is welcoming and friendly. The residents present as settled and content. There is a good rapport between residents and cares both the individual or in group activities like playing games such as higher and lower, craft, singing and painting nails which are regular features. Personal care appears good and the home clean. Teatime sees varied nutritional food of resident's choice. Every effort is made to ensure residents receive good care.

Dad is very well cared for. I am always impressed on how sensitively the staff care for him and how they let him stay as independent as possible. I have stayed at Woodland Court for lunch with dad and the food has been delicious.

Mum has been here for over 4 years now and is very happy. She tells anyone who visits her that it is the best place to be if you can't stay in your own home. The staff are fantastic, the food is delicious, and I am really well looked after. It is a relief to know that she is so happy, and I don't have to worry about her. When she was ill recently and in isolation, I was kept informed of her progress. I would happily recommend Woodland Court.

Woodland Court is very homely and friendly. It has a very relaxed atmosphere. Mum has been here for 2 and a half years, and I cannot fault the care she has received. She can be loud and awkward at times, but the staff cope with her amazingly well. The food is really good as well! I would highly recommend.
