My wife has been in woodland ct 5yrs
The care and compasion by the staff in my opinion second to none .
When they do so much for my wife and keep me informed about all improvements
Also involve me about any changes to my wifes care plan.

The transition to The Firs residential home has been very smooth. Mum has settled in very well, mum has been enjoying all the activities. The staff have been excellent and Emma has gone above and beyond to make sure mum feels happy and safe.

Staff are friendly, welcoming and experienced in the needs of older people: my mum needs alot of hands on support with toileting and self care. She is well cared for by the staff, she enjoys the daily activities provided every single day. She enjoys breakfast in bed and then being helped to the lounge
the home is well staff, well run and v. clean we are very happy with our experience.

Satisfactory care under stressful circumstances. I have no other experience of this type of facility to make comparison but my mother and the other residents seem well looked after and wellbeing is prioritised.

When I first visited this home almost 2 years ago, before my wife went in, I had doubts. I only stepped into the entrance lobby, and it was chaos. A later visit by my daughter included a guided tour, and my daughter assured me it was OK. It was. My wife settled in far better than we had anticipated
and has been there almost 2 years, come August 2026.

We are more than happy with the care at this home. Our father is settled, feels safe and is happy - we cant ask for more. The day outs seem a firm favorite so more of those would be perfect.

I find The Firs to be a very lovely, happy and caring home. They have activities, day trips and entertainment to amuse the residents. Our father is very happy here, he always tells us he is well looked after and that is the main thing. He loves the food, the staff and always seems well cared for.

My sisters and I were really pleased at how quickly Mum has settled in to Inglefield. She looks forward to joining in the different activities offered each day and spending time in the company of other people. The staff are kind and encouraging in their approach and interaction with Mum and family

My mother recently passed away at Willow Bank Care Home having been a resident there for several years.
The love ,care and attention shown to her by every single member of staff was outstanding and they treated her with the dignity and respect that we would all wish to receive.
This exceptional
treatment was also extended to myself and other family members and they met and foresaw our every need at this very distressing time. I really cannot fault the level of attention to detail and the professionalism but also their dedication going above and beyond normal levels. I cannot thank them all enough.
My mum was very happy at Willow Bank Care Home and was part of the big happy family that exists there. For anyone looking for a place for their loved one I would certainly recommend this one.

My Father has been in Willow Bank for a few years now. The staff are very friendly and take the time to get to know residents and their needs. The whole team are great and always treat residents with patience, care and dignity.
Family and friends feel very welcome when we visit. There is a monthly
dementia cafe where residents and visitors meet up for tea/coffee and the most wonderful cakes (homemade by the chef). For entertainment there always seems to be something going on with singers, animal visits, excercises and crafts, which many of the residents take part in and clearly have a great time. Dad feels safe and well cared for in Willow Bank, often telling us the food is great there and he is very well looked after.
It is difficult to watch a parent gradually losing themselves due to dementia but the support from Willow Bank and knowing that Dad is safe and being well looked after makes it more bearable.
