Since my mum moved into Brunswick House, I have been very impressed with the care and attention she has received. The manager and all the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, and go of their way to make all of us feel comfortable and at home. My mum is clearly very happy with how she is being looked after, which is a great comfort to me and the rest of the family.

Dad is very comfortable here and very well looked after. Emma is a star and makes everything easy with communication. Dad is very fond of her and all the staff

My mum has been in residential home for about 18 months. Before Mum went to the house her anxiety level was through the roof. The staff at The Firs were so helpful and comforting to Mum. It did take a few months for the anxiety to subside, now Mum is like a totally different person, laughing and joking and relaxed. So a big thank you to al the staff at The Firs.

They get my mother the help she needs at the time she needs it. The staff are always friendly and keep my Mum secure at all times. I am always kept updated with any changes and they have a very high level of care.

Mum arrived at Hartwell Lodge 3 years today and the standard of care has been consistently high throughout her time there. She has always been treated with care and compassion, and I have always been made to feel welcome when visiting. Whenever there has been a reason for me to communicate with the home - outside of visits - my questions have always been answered respectfully and fully. I find it quite amazing that in 3 years I have not had a single reason to complain and I recommend Hartwell Lodge wholeheartedly.

The staff at The Firs have been very considerate and understanding with my auntie who has communication difficulties she feels safe here and I can see she is well looked after. Ben.

Experienced and well-staffed. Clean everywhere, especially bedroom. Residents treated kindly and with respect. Activities co-ordinator x 2 activities a day - excellent. Food is nutritious and well cooked. My mum has breakfast in bed every day and she loves it!

My wife has been a resident of Kingland House for nearly 4 years. The level of care has remained consistent throughout this time. Although there are many residents and visitors, I am made to feel welcome and my wife is treated in a way that makes her feel special. My wife refers to the care staff as friends. I am kept informed of, and consulted about any changes to my wife's care and included in the broad range of activities, put on every day.I would recommend Kingland House to anyone.

Mum has been at Hartwell Lodge for 3 years now ,she is very happy and well cared for. Meals are really lovely and well varied , just lovely home cooked food. Plenty of treats too. Lots of laughter and lots of activities everyday to join in if you wish. We as a family are so pleased mum is happy and well cared for. We are always made to feel welcome when we visit. It is such a caring home and I am so grateful for the help that they give to my husband and me.

Whenever I visit, I find that I always get a warm welcome - Staff are always very attentive and supportive during our visits and you feel that there is real thoughtfulness and genuine care in the way they treat the residents.

It was also lovely to see my father enjoying himself and being included in the activities. Knowing that he was happy, safe and well cared for gave my mum and our family real peace of mind during his stay.

My step father is currently living at Willow bank and I have found that he is settled, eating well and enjoying his time by being looked after by the lovely staff there. My mum and I visited a few homes before moving my step dad there and I have to say the home was by far the best. Activity within the home is excellent and the staff are very dementia care driven

Our mum Teresa has been a resident at the Orchards Care Home now for just over 2 years. In this time, our mum's care has always been of a very high standard. The staff are generally very caring and always show empathy to the residents. They are very hard working and nothing is too much trouble for them. There has been a change in management earlier this year (January) and improvements have been made for the better. Noticeable changes have been made & improvements to the facilities within the care home. Thankyou.

My mum has been a resident for just over three years. The care she receives is great. They r very skilled in the dementia area and treat mum very well. They have loads of activities and we are happy that mum is a safe kind environment. The food the residents get is a particular highlight for mum.

At the end of this respite care period I immediately arranged for my wife to stay permanently. I am most grateful that I have found a home from home for her

I have used a number of homes for respite for my husband. This was by far the best and I would recommend it to anyone. The care and respect my husband received, as well as the friendliness of the staff was wonderful. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and the staff went over and above to make my husband welcome. I will certainly be taking my husband back for another break.

My mother spent 2 months at West Bank following a fall and hosputal stay to prepare her to come home. She was treated with kindness and respect by all staff.

As a retired nurse and having visited many care homes whilst working for social services I can honestly say that all the members of the team really care and although initially I wanted mum to move to a care home closer to me, she has settled and they have become like family I wouldn't want to move her . I have always been made welcome when visiting mum and the support I have had has been amazing.
