My husband was made very welcome by the delightful staff and lovingly cared for. The staff are excellent and really care for their charges. The room was very pleasant with a nice view and plenty of space to hang clothes. He had two falls and a foot infection while a resident, which were dealt with promptly
and efficiently.
I cannot praise the staff enough, not only for the care for my husband but also for the help given to me in helping with the various items which needed to be brought to and from the car.

I had two weeks respite care at Mulberry House after major surgery. I was looking for complete rest to prepare me for being at home alone. The care I received was second to none - both management & staff did their utmost to let me have the rest I needed, whilst keeping a close eye on all of my requirements
- I couldn't have asked for more!
I was unable to take advantage of the varied activities on offer due to my circumstances, so I can't comment on this aspect.
My grateful thanks to you all for your care & kindness.

We moved Mum to Inglefield from another home in Newport where we had concerns about the quality of care. Mum has been very happy here. From the second day the care staff were happy to get her out of bed and into a chair and take her out into the garden. The staff are extremely conscientious and friendly
and the quality of care provided has been exemplary throughout the last two years of her stay here. She is more responsive in this home and smiles and laughs a lot. She is much sharper because of the stimulus she gets from the staff and the time they invest in her in the activities room. If only all nursing homes were this good.
Reply from Charlotte Willis, Manager at Inglefield Nursing & Residential Home

We are truly grateful that you took the time to share your experience with Inglefield. Hearing that your mother has been so happy here, means the world to our team. It is our commitment to ensure every resident feels valued and engaged, and we are delighted to know our care staff's conscientious and friendly approach has made such a difference to your mum. Thank you again for your trust in us it is a pleasure to care for your mum.

My Mum has been a resident in Mulberry House for the last 3 years as she is living with dementia. She recently celebrated her 90th birthday and the staff could not have done more to make her feel special, going out of their way to facilitate a private party for her friends and relatives.
The standard
of care she receives daily is very high, and the activities on offer are absolutely fantastic. The home has a warm and friendly feel, is clean and well maintained, residents are treated with respect and care. Making the decision to move a loved one into a care home is so difficult, but I genuinely believe it is the best place for my beloved Mum, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Mum was moved to the orchards in august 2024 as an emergency dementia related stay. Her move once assessed by experts was made permanent at the end of August last year. From day 1 minute 1 the entire team have made mum feel safe happy Nd secure. As a family we are greeted warmly when we visit. Every
day has something going on to stimulate their minds their mouths and their ears....I would have no qualms in recommended this to any family on the very scare path to accepting your most precious family member need care you can no longer provide. Michele.

Taken in the round my sister is very happy with the care she receives and with the staff who provide it at every level. She feels that the choice of room is the right one for her. She has some limitations on her food preferences but appreciates the efforts made to meet those. She has mixed views on
aspects of the activities and entertainment; subject of course to her personal taste. She is nonetheless very impressed with the principal member of staff leading on that.

Mum has always been very happy at Kingland House. She initially went for respite care and after 10 days never wanted to go home and be alone again. She likes to sit in the lounge during the day with other residents. They often have singers or chair exercises. They also have regular visits from a specially
trained dog. The staff organise various games too which keeps Mum well entertained. Knowing she's well catered for and happy makes me happy.

My wife has been a resident since October 2022. The staff have always treated her as an individual and not just another resident. They have tailored her care to meet the changes in her needs and wants as time has passed. Judith is considerably more content than she was prior to her time in Kingland
House. Her physical health is closely monitored and there is good liaison between the staff, senior carers and the local NHS services. Her mental wellbeing is always considered when meeting her day to day anxieties and concerns. All of the staff that I have encountered have been willing to talk to me about any concerns of mine and I am frequently given updates regarding my wife's care.
Despite the inevitable pressures and work load of the staff, they always find time for positive and cheerful interaction with my wife and other residents.
I am always made to feel welcome at Kingland House and the staff and manager have gone to a lot of effort to accommodate my wishes.

My mum was at Mulberry House for respite care after an operation. It is a very lovely house, clean and well maintained in a lovely setting with a homely feel. The most amazing thing about it though is the staff. Everyone was so friendly and happy in their work. Genuinely concerned, caring and always
on hand for anything. Mum was looked after very well and I wouldn't hesitate recommending to anyone, whether for a short respite stay or a longer more permanent stay. Thank you to everyone at Mulberry House.

Upon entering The Orchards I was always greeted by friendly and helpful staff. First impressions are 'nothing is too much trouble!'
The staff in the activities room are amazing, so committed to ensuring all residents are involved in some way. Whilst visiting not only was I made to feel welcome, offered
drinks etc, also encouraged to join in. What fun I had singing at Christmas - songs I had forgotten! The range of activities are immense. Personal touches for the residents is also evident, jewellery matching outfits, a visiting hairdresser even nails polished, I'm sure this helps the happy smiles you see as you visit The Orchards. The resident for whom we are responsible is receiving excellent care.
Previous issues with personal care have been dealt with kindly resulting in a improvement in general health.
I am impressed with how staff deal with any likes and dislikes.
Options are always carefully and clearly explained when
an action or choice is required.
The entertainment programme is varied and includes exercises.
This general environment has encouraged interaction which had previously been missing.
We are always advised of any issues which may arise.
All staff I have met and spoken to are open, helpful and caring.

After a number of years with care at home the big decision was made to move our mum to residential care. After viewing several places West Bank was chosen as the best place to suit mum's needs. It's a light, warm airy place with comfortable rooms and staff who are very friendly, efficient, polite
and extremely well trained. The food is very good, mum put on weight and looked better for the move, this was a great delight to our family as she wasn't keen to leave her home. However, the staff were extremely kind and coaxed her along gently and she settled and was happy.
The facilities are wonderful with care and support tailored to the residents needs. Their privacy and dignity is taken very seriously, the management day to day is very impressive - everyone works together in whichever direction to make it a happy home. Mum loves the activities music in particular, even I have danced gently around the sitting room with her. Thank you all so much for your love and care of our mum.
