Mum has been in Brunswick House for 16 months now. She took a little while to settle in, which is only to be expected, but now she is very happy & well cared for. She gets on well with the staff and still likes a little bit of banter. The is not a high turnover of staff which is brilliant because the
residents get to build relationships. Mum now says she doesn't want to be anywhere else. Im also kept well informed.

The staff have been excellent in Mum's care. The last manager we had was superb and made great improvements. I cannot comment on the new manager as she only recently started her role. (They could email clients families telling them about their experience!) Change of some staff is quick but those who
have been there long term are great. The facilities are limited due to the type of building but they are upgrading continually.

Visit from hairdresser. Not only does mum enjoy the hairdresser experience but it is lovely to see all residents with a smile because their hair looks gorgeous. By 'going to the hairdresser' it allows mum to have the hands on therapy of normal everyday life. Mum happily chats to the hairdresser-just
like she used to. This is a really valuable session for all. Thank you.

My Nan has been in Willow Bank for just over a year and wow the staff are just amazing they get to know the residents so well and no what there needs are. If we the family members have an issues regarding my Nans care they are quick to sort it if they can't sort it there and then it will get sorted
you can count on that. The entertainment is fantastic I know for sure when we are there Nan definitely enjoys it but so do we lol
The Snacks and pastries are Amazing Nan absolutely loves them they even offer us tea coffee and biscuits. I've been lucky enough to taste a little bit of the food they get Let me tell you it taste and smells delicious and they have choices to what they can have also and they cater for everybody needs. The kitchen staff are amazing, as are all the staff. Each and everyone plays a role in making Willow Bank just great. Also the hairdresser is amazing she works so well with the residents and has such patience with them all

Mum has lived at Willowbank for nearly 5 years and has been supported by amazing staff throughout her journey. Dad passed away nearly 3 years ago but he was happy knowing that mum was well taken care of. Staff are always very welcoming whether it's a visit in person or my regular 2/3 days phone call

Our mum, who has early-onset Alzheimer's, came here for a two-week respite stay in August. At just 62, it was a daunting transition for her and for us daughters. During those two weeks, we realized her condition had progressed to a point where we could no longer provide the care she needed, as such
we made the decision for her to stay. The care home was incredible during this time, helping both Mum and our family navigate the transition with so much patience and empathy. Since moving in, Mum has been so well looked after, more than we could have ever asked for. We want to give a particular shoutout to the management team, the team leaders, and the nursing staff who have been involved in her daily life. While we can't name individuals here, the team members we've worked most closely with have been real superheroes. Every member of the staff is consistently helpful, kind, and compassionate. We feel so much peace knowing Mum is in such safe, caring hands. Thank you all.

My husband has been a permanent resident for 8 months. He is extremely well cared for by the whole team. He is encouraged to join in activities and enjoys some of the amazing entertainment. He's never left unsupervised always kind carers are there to help and support his needs. The meals are excellent
and nutritious he eats well with menus printed daily on a cork board for loved ones to see. Care reviews of him are regularly done and I'm kept in touch regarding all of this. It's a happy place and after visits I leave and return home never feeling any concerns about him. The staff are fantastic, so kind and understanding. and I know I can come home without any worries knowing if there was a concern I would be contacted. My husband is always treated with great respect.

The staff are lovely and caring towards the residents, staff and visitors. There is some good entertainment vison for the residents.. My husband took part in a cognitive stimulation course which he enjoys. The food is fresh and delicious. We had our 3 month review and we pointed out some of our concerns
which have been addressed. It took a while for him and me to adjust, but I think he is settled. I am grateful for the care that he is receiving at Willow Bank.

I cannot thank Brunswick House enough for the care my dad received. During the final stages of dad's life, they looked after him so well, made him comfortable and maintained his dignity. They also looked after our family with tea, cake, sandwiches so we could be by his side, so tremendously kind and
compassionate. What a wonderful lot.
I can only describe it as receiving a warm hug all the time.

My lovely Downs Syndrome sister has been a resident at Inglefield for over 3 years. From day one she's been very happy here. The staff are all so caring & kind, she loves them all. She's now suffering with dementia & her personality is changing, but despite her outbursts the staff are as kind as ever.
There are some great activities for residents to join in with, & regular outings. I'm so grateful that she is somewhere safe, I can relax knowing that, & I trust all the staff to do their very best for her. Inglefield has a lovely feel about it as soon as you enter, thank goodness they could accommodate my sister, we couldn't have found anywhere better.
Reply from Charlotte Willis, Manager at Inglefield Nursing & Residential HomeThank you so very much for taking the time to share such a touching review. We appreciate your kind words, and it is a privilege to have had your sister as part of the Inglefield family for the past three years. Hearing that she has been happy with us since day one means a lot to our team. We believe that a home is defined by how it feels the moment you walk through the door, and we are so glad you feel that warmth every time you visit. We will be sure to share your thanks with the entire team.

My granddad was a resident of Kingland for almost 18 months. The care he received from the whole team was exceptional.
While he was able to he very much enjoyed the singers and chatting with the other residents.
The team ensured that his room was kept very clean and personalised.
Often
when family popped in for a visit we would find one of the team in my grandads room having a chat and making sure he was okay (mentally and physically). He loved to see the therapy dogs and other animals which would make personal visits to his room.
Most of these reviews are focused on the exceptional care given to the residents (rightly so), but I feel I must mention the support given to the families. Kingland gave us extra quality time we wouldn't of had with a cherished family member. They also have provided support after his passing to the family.
I will continue to recommend the home to anyone and everyone. The family are very grateful to the whole team.

Caring staff. Food is excellent (if you do not like something, they will endeavour to change it). Activities are well coordinated to show for different types of disability. If work allows, they are willing to talk and engage with you.
Reply from Charlotte Willis, Manager at Inglefield Nursing & Residential HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share your experience, it was a pleasure to read your kind words about our team. I am delighted to hear that our catering team has been able to accommodate your preferences. We also take great pride in our activities program; ensuring that every resident can participate and feel included, regardless of their physical abilities. I will be sure to pass along your praise to the entire team.

My mother stayed at Willow Bank from November 2025 until early January 2026. This was a respite placement as my mother is living with dementia.
My mother had previously had a difficult respite placement so was unsettled when she arrived at Willow Bank and the family's confidence in respite care was
at a low ebb.
Quickly the quality of care provided at Willow Bank reassured the family and my mother settled well. I found the staff and the management of the care home to be kind, caring, responsive and expert in providing care to people with dementia which was just what we and my mother needed.
Staff at Willow Bank supported us and my mother with her transition into her new permanent home.

My mum has been living at Kingland House since September 2024 following her Alzheimer's diagnosis, and the care she receives has been outstanding. She is genuinely happy, has gained weight, and more often than not has a smile on her face. Although she doesn't always fully understand the afternoon games,
the staff take the time to support her and ensure every resident feels included and able to succeed. There is a full programme of activities each day, which keeps her engaged and gives real structure to her time.
Overall, I'm incredibly grateful for the kindness, patience, and dedication shown by the whole team.

Taken in the round my sister is very happy with the care she receives and with the staff who provide it at every level. She feels that the choice of room is the right one for her. She has some limitations on her food preferences but appreciates the efforts made to meet those. She has mixed views on
aspects of the activities and entertainment; subject of course to her personal taste. She is nonetheless very impressed with the principal member of staff leading on that. I would add that we consider the staff perform a very challenging role mostly with great care and sensitivity and should be commended.

When it became too much for mum to manage at home and needed to move into care, we looked around several care homes which all seemed okay until we looked at Kingland house. A bit like buying a house, you instantly get a good feeling when you find the right one. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful,
especially Maxine. Mum settled in so much better and quicker than we expected. She has a routine and there is always something going on to keep everyone entertained from singers to activities. I would certainly recommend Kingland house to anyone needing a caring friendly home that will allow them to enjoy being themselves.
