with a window overlooking the garden. Every time we visited we were treated well and my elderly father given help to be able to sit with Halcyon. The place was tidy and mostly clean given the difficult circumstances. We thank you and the staff for looking after and caring for our mother

different rooms available to the residents. On the ground floor there are two large sitting rooms, a pleasant television room and a dining room which is also used for other activities and events. There are activities and a variety of events every day including music, singing, dancing, exercise, skittles, quizzes, animals to pet - the list goes on!

Primarily, of course, it was the staff that made Willow Bank such a good second home for my partner who was suffering from vascular dementia. They treated the residents in such a normal and relaxed way, coping calmly and cheerfully at all times. I was so impressed. I know he was happy there. Thank you Willow Bank.

Within a secure environment, residents are given as much freedom as is possible to move around the home and to make their own choices. There is a regular programme of activities within the main lounge and there always seems to be something entertaining happening on my weekly visits to Mum. Family engagement is always encouraged and managers and staff make themselves available for any questions and regular review meetings. The home is bright and cheerful and well maintained. Most importantly the home has as its backbone a really dedicated Manager, Deputy, Head of Care and Team Leaders who have my respect.

There is a good continuity with regular and familiar staff.
The activities are wonderful, there's always something happening such as magicians, trips out, singers, animal visits and so much more.
I know my mom is safe and cared for at Willow Bank care home.
They are all wonderful!

the various music activities they plan regularly and it's heartwarming to see her living well with dementia. they are his family, and they are the ones he wants to be with, they are the ones he feels safe with, they are the ones he smiles at. I can see when I go there that they all do their best and go that extra mile even if it's just to hold a resident's hand while they are upset or scared. They are always doing things to make it as enjoyable as they can for them including craft days, hairdressers, games, singers, comedians and days out and other events, in fact, they have a better social life than me. I love going to see my husband there. I can say wholeheartedly I would never want him to go anywhere else.
