I find The Firs to be a very lovely, happy and caring home. They have activities, day trips and entertainment to amuse the residents. Our father is very happy here, he always tells us he is well looked after and that is the main thing. He loves the food, the staff and always seems well cared for.

Emma lives locally in Lympstone village in Devon and comes from a proud military family background — her husband served 28 years in the Devon & Dorset regiment, and she has two sons, both serving in the Army.
