Many thanks for your review and recommendation. We will pass on your kind words to the team. Best Wishes Lynn
My uncle John, has been at Blossom House, since Tuesday 24th/March/2026. He came to the care home because of a stroke on his brain. My uncle is very happy being at the care home. And he is getting on really well. The staff are all lovely. Nothing is never too much trouble for them. My uncle has met some lovely patients there. They all work very hard. Such a wonderful place to be
Thank you so much for your kind words of review for Blossom House which we will share with all the team. Best Wishes Lynn
We are always kept well informed of any changes with my mother.
We appreciate your positive feedback which we will share with our Team. Thank you for taking the time to share your views. Best Wishes Lynn
Despite the very close bond we have always shared, I am not blind to her flaws. Unfortunately as her dementia has progressed, her softness has gradually been replaced with aggression, which is only becoming worse as she deteriorates and she is now very challenging and volatile even for us as a family during visits.
The staff here are so tolerant, patient, understanding and welcoming and I have said to them on several occasions, I don't know how you all do it.
They always make sure to celebrate residents birthdays, put on summer fates and invite the residents family and friends to attend, as well as make a fuss at Christmas.
Dementia is such a cruel disease for everyone touched by it, however, despite my combative grandmothers protests, she does confess that if she had to choose a permanent place, it would be here.
Laura, many thanks for taking the time to write a review of your experiences with Blossom House. Sadly, Dementia can make people confused and/or scared, and sometimes they react with angry words. We need to try to separate the illness from the person you remember her to be and that people living...
Blossom House were able to provide the end of life care in conjunction with the NHS that meant an extremely dignified, warm and loving end to a long life. A discussion some 6 weeks before my mot(er died was had as to which location would be best for the EOLC, hospital or Blossom House. Blossom House volunteered to take on this responsibility which included Xmas. Again a fact I will be eternally grateful for. A fantastic family & Home partnership.
A huge thanks for your kind words which I know the team will be delighted with. It was a privilege to be able to support you and your family at such an emotive time in all your lives and it was an honour to be able to share your mothers life. We wish you and your family all the very best. Best Wishes Lynn
The love and attention he got whilst dieing I will never forget.
Over the years I have been to many care homes. Blossom House is by far the best.
We would like to thank you for your kind words which I know the staff will be very grateful for. We strive to continually provide the best standards possible for everyone who lives at Blossom House. Best Wishes. Lynn and the team
The attention to detail all the staff show, not only to my wife, but to all the residents is beyond words. I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff.
Blossom House is kept immaculately clean by the cleaning team.
The food is varied throughout the week. with a fish dish on Fridays and a traditional Sunday roast. The chefs do a fantastic job.
There is a varied inhouse entertainments programme, also with singers coming in and other entertainers visiting on a regular basis.
I would like to sincerely thank everyone working at Blossom House for the work that they do.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We will ensure to share with all of our team. Best Wishes
It is wonderful to see the refurbishment that has occurred in the last year or so and knowing that money is being put back into the building for the benefit of the residents.
Blossom House is a wonderful place where we know our Mum is being well looked after. Thank you.
Many thanks for your kind review which we will share with all the team. Best Wishes
My father passed away in the best place for him and us. No words can truly describe the incredible experience my father was given by the staff at Blossom House when he transitioned from Earth to Heaven. My children and I had such a positive consistant clear support at such a painful time when a close relative you loved so dearly fades away in front of you. All of us could not of wished for a more dignified experience. My children now have a positive experience for when they experience similar as adults.
We would like to thank you for your review of Blossom House which we will ensure we share with all our team. We all really appreciate your kind words. We are truly grateful that you have shared your personal experience. Your Father is greatly missed by all. Take care to you and your family.
My mother recently passed, was a resident at Blossom House Care Home for over three years. My brother and I, with our partners, regularly visited Mum in the care home. We were always impressed with the quality of care she received from the excellent staff at Blossom House. The cleanliness and care are always of a very high standard which we are pleased to recommend to anyone considering a place in a care environment.
Firstly, we are so very sorry for the loss of your mother who will be sadly missed at Blossom House. We would like to thank you so much for your kind words which our team will be very grateful for. Best wishes.
I find them all - office staff and carers - patient and attentive. I am very reassured that Blossom House is a happy and homely home.
Thank you so very much for this wonderful review and kind words. We will share with the team who will be delighted with your review. Best wishes.
We are happy with the care etc. but cannot give in-depth comments as we have only been in contact for six weeks at the moment.
We would like to thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. Whilst we appreciate you have only been in contact with us for a very short period of time, we will arrange for our manager to contact you directly to discuss your levels of scoring. We will add these to our quality assurance...
All residents are well cared for and in an excellent environment.
Rooms are clean and all needs cared for with dignity and respect by a wonderful staff compliment.
Thank you so much for your fabulous review of Blossom House. Our team of staff are dedicated to our residents and we are delighted you feel the same.
Blossom House is filled with kind and caring staff who take the time to ensure their residents are cared for as you would care for them yourself. They maintain a high standard and despite her physical and mental problems my mother has come to regard them as family. I can thoroughly recommend this lovely home.
Thank you so much for your kind words which I know the team will all appreciate. Best Wishes.
But not only did they care for him so well , they cared for me his wife, always. His Daughter and Granddaughter felt the same way, while we sat by his bedside during the final stages of his life. They made us feel loved, cared for, and comforted.
Have told my son, to book me in this care home when the time comes.
We were all saddened by the passing of your Husband at Blossom House but would like to thank you for your kind words which we will share with our team. This will mean a lot to our staff as we try to ensure that everyone is treated as part of our family. Our Best Wishes to you and your family.
If you visit, what you see is absolutely what you get. The residents are happy and fulfilled, loved and cared for by amazingly dedicated staff who work over their hours and above and beyond the care they should offer. The home is cosy, joyful and full of life and character. Do not hesitate to visit and see for yourself.
Thank you to all the amazing staff.
Firstly please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of your father. Your review is very much appreciated in particular the detail to which you have described the support you received from the staff. We firmly believe we are all part of "the family" and as such it is good to hear you have...
