Pleasant, friendly environment and attentive, diligent staff, thank you. Clean, tidy and welcoming environment. Staff work hard to be accommodating. Proactive staff. Nothing seems to be too much trouble.
Thank you that's very good to hear. I love to hear nothing is too much trouble x
. I love Engleburn because my husband is happy and cared for and most of all the staff are so kind which makes me feel relaxed and happy. For the first time I feel like when I go to visit I am visiting my husband as I cared for him for 27 years I was his carer not anymore I am his wife. Thank you so much for giving me peace of mind which means the world to me and my family.
It is our pleasure to take on some of the responsibility and share your lovely husbands care with you. XX
I cannot thank the staff of Engleburn for the professional and personal care they give to my close friend. It is a homely environment in which dementia patients can feel safe and are given individual care to ensure they make the most of life. Mental stimulation love and friendship are at the heart of why this care home is so precious.
Amazing Thank You. Lovely lovely words and the pleasure is all ours XX
My mother has been at Engleburn since the end of April and she's settled in really well. All the staff are very kind and welcoming. The home has a lovely cheerful atmosphere and it is very reassuring to know my mother is so well looked after.
Thank you that's lovely to hear. xx Our aim is to ensure everyone is happy and well looked after thats the priority xx
You really couldn't ask for a better place for a loved one to be at, the care is next to none and nothing ever seems a problem for a member of your family, With constantly being told of information . Always keeping everyone in a fun, warm and interacted environment . The care home is always very clean and tidy with a lovely little cafe in the grounds where you can go and have a nice coffee and cake. Can't speak highly enough of Engleburn. They literally take the stress out of your parent being in care.
Thank you xx
The Foxholes wing of Engleburn Care Home is excellent. It is a small unit for residents with dementia and I think it is outstanding. The Head of Care is very much aware of each of the resident's needs. She is unfailingly cheerful and always on hand. As I live 150 miles away, I can only visit once a month, but the Head of Care, who is a Senior Nurse, regularly emails me with updates on my cousin's health and her progress within the unit. The activities that are arranged every day are engaging and interesting. The ratio of carers to residents is higher than expected, and they are kind and cheerful. My cousin was quite poorly when she transferred from the main Engleburn Care Home to FOXHOLES in November. She has made incredible progress physically since then, which I think is down to the brilliant standard of care in FOXHOLES.
Thank you Denise for your kind words. We have definitely had to work around some personality Quirks and this has been interesting. In the 4 years that Y has been with us we have enjoyed working so closely with you and seeing how much you care for her. Foxholes definitely became the correct smaller unit for Y and she has thrived with their love and care. Thank you xx
It's a beautiful home with its own cafe in the grounds.
I would highly recommend It to anyone looking for quality care.
We can generally make any challenges with distance or time work.
Its lovely to work with you and care for your brother xx
Putting a loved one into a care home is never an easy decision but the team at Engleburn make, what can be a desperately distressing processes for all concerned, as smooth and empathetically as possible. I would recommend this establish to any who sought my opinion.
Thank you honestly the pleasure is all ours. We agree it is a very difficult decision when loved ones require care and if we can make this even the littlest bit easier then that is our aim. They may be residents in our home but they have been your loving parents for a lot longer and we really want...
Mum settled in so well, she stayed and she has been so well cared for that we could not be happier.
We are very grateful for the kindness care my mum receives, and does truly feel like her home.
Just recently we thought very hard about a one sentence strap line to sum up what we want for Engleburn and it was very similar.
It was Where life continues to be lived
Thank you for your kind words xx
Staff are always courteous and caring with excellent facilities provided for the residents. The health and wellbeing of the resident is maintained under regular review and any developments are always discussed with me. I couldn't have chosen a better place for her to live
Thank you that's lovely to hear. Its fabulous to work with you both and the words " I couldn't have chosen a better place for her to live " melt my heart and make me very proud. Thank You xx
There is a wide variety of activities and the team ensures that my partner is included in as many as possible.
The tea room in the grounds is a bonus and there is a well-tended allotment and garden with resident ducks!
Staff are always ready to deal with any of my queries or concerns and I am promptly updated with any care issues.
I feel welcomed as part of the Engleburn family and that means a lot.
Thank you!
We absolutely welcome you as part of the Engleburn family too. For us its as much about supporting loved ones as the residents. Care is a team effort and we never think that we have the monopoly on care. It is lovely that you join in with and enjoy all of the activities possible. xx
Very happy with the care that my Wife has received. My Wife loves the staff that looks after her and tells me that they treat her with kindness and respect. She enjoys the activities that she gets involved in, especially the walking club. She looks forward to mealtimes and looks really healthy.
We certainly have lots of activities each day and no time to be bored. The walking club has up to 15 residents attending now with relatives attending too. A great deal of fun is had. xx
I find that my wife is being well looked after and has put on weight which is good as she was well under weight when first became a resident. The staff go out of their way to entertain the residents I feel the home is secure and the residents are safe it has a lovely cafe in the grounds which the residents are allowed to visit I know my loves going to the cafe
Thank you for your lovely words. The tearooms definitely is a big asset to the home and gets lots of use every day. xx
My sister and I could not be happier or more grateful to the staff at Engleburn for the care, respect and kindness they show our mum, Jen.
There is always a warmth when we go to visit and the staff great us with a smile. The space is inviting, clean, tidy and always decorated with a particular theme for the time of year. Our mum is always well presented and her room immaculate.
My sister and I do not live locally but we have always felt that she couldn't be in a better more caring or safe environment. This give us such piece of mind.
There is excellent provision on-site for those more able; a beautiful garden in the centre of the home; a dining room that looks like a hotel restaurant; and a separate tearoom and gardens that makes you feel like you've popped out to a garden centre. We couldn't recommend Engleburn highly enough. Thank you!
Jen has an amazing team that think the world of her. xx
Engleburn encourage their residents to live their best possible life.
Thank you for your kind words. Celebrated in style definitely sums up his 100th birthday it was lovely and lovely to be able to celebrate with all of his family too. He really does enjoy lots of activities, What 99 year old man gets to go on a tandem bicycle ride every week through the forest with a stop at the ice cream shop en-route. Clearly living his best life XX
Lovely staff, my mum is very well looked after, communication with staff is good and regular updates are provided on my mums condition. Lovely on site tearoom and garden area. lots of activities for residents also.
The tearooms have definitely been a lovely addition and now the lovely allotments as well.

She has been treated with the utmost care and dignity since she arrived . The carers quickly picked up Mums likes and dislikes.
The whole team are so friendly. This includes everyone who works at the home.
The home has tearooms in the grounds and Mum and I enjoyed sitting in the lovely surroundings enjoying the sun.
Mum is at the end of her life now and the support for her and myself has been exemplary. The staff have cared for me in such a compassionate way.
I am truly thankful that Mum came to Engleburn care home. I could not have wished for anywhere better.
Honestly the pleasure has been all ours, you are a lovely lovely family to have had the pleasure of working with
When he arrived his clothes were taken away, washed, ironed, labelled and returned. His pictures etc were put up in his room.
The premises is well thought through, with a pretend pub, pub garden, beautiful coffee shop on the grounds where family can take residents. It's great.
My stepfather and his dog are very well looked after.
