A family-run care home which has been owned by the current family since 1992, giving it a very personal feel. Set in beautiful grounds in Barton on Sea, there is a caring, homely and relaxed atmosphere.

They have been very good with Mum's complex health needs and very accommodating. I love the fact that one day they were having a bbq and they called us and invited us for the day. I would highly recommend The Gatehouse.

Louise is the daughter of the owners and has grown up with the home since the age of 12, when June & Eric purchased the care facility.

Louise is the daughter of the owners and has grown up with the home since the age of 12, when June & Eric purchased the care facility.
In 2016 Louise joined the home as the Operations Manager, to support the Registered Manager with the business and administration side of the home.
In recent years Louise has taken over the management of the home, overseeing the senior team.
Mel manages the care of residents within our home and has over 25 years of experience, many of these in management positions. She has her Level 5 qualification, and in her last role, she won a Top 20 Care Homes award.
