A recent innovative extension provides beautifully well-appointed rooms with en-suite wet rooms.

A hydrotherapy bath with mood lighting and aromatherapy has added a touch of luxury together with the salon which offers complimentary holistic therapies to soothe the body and soul.

Manager Jane, a finalist in the National Care Awards is supported by carefully selected Nurses and Healthcare Assistants to provide a real 'home from home.'

My husband is very settled here and very well looked after by all the carers, nurses and managers.
I am very happy with his treatment/care, etc and with his room, which is kept very clean & tidy.
I have received very pleasing comments from other visitors, especially family.

Outstanding home !
What can I say my grandad come here after a long stint in hospital and going to an awful care home. The care not only he received but us as a family was amazing and couldn't fault it.
Nothing was tooo much trouble for them.

My partner has only been here for two-and-a-half weeks following a bad experience in another home where his care needs were not met. This home has been amazing from the start, they are delivering the care they promised for my partner, the staff are so kind and caring and make everyone welcome. They
were quick to respond when an emergency happened and made sure my partner was treated following a procedure making him safe and confident he was in the right place. He tells me they are all lovely and he's happy here. I would recommend this home to anyone. The manager cares.

My father has been a resident at Wisteria Lodge for the last two months, he has enjoyed a friendly time whilst being a resident, every member of management and staff have been professional at all times, it's run like clockwork and everyone is very attentive to any situation and my dad was very settled.
With my Dad's failing health we as a family could relax knowing Dad was in a safe, clean, professional home and was a pleasure to get to know everyone during my dad's stay at Wisteria Lodge, excellent in all areas.

My father came here in January following a quite horrible experience in a previous care home while under D2A assessment and I genuinely thank god that he did! The staff are simply fantastic and his room is bright and calm with a lovely view. The place itself is spotless and the care he receives is second
to none, we couldn’t be happier. It really feels like a family and the staff are brilliant with my mum when she visits him there, really treat her like part of the family. My father was bed-bound following a stroke and in the previous home and in hospital there was never even a consideration to change that, thank the lord for Wisteria. This year with their help we’ve been able to get him into a custom-fitted chair in his room and he’s now even going downstairs and taking part in the numerous different daily activities that the staff put on. There is a beautiful terrace garden and garden room and he’s now able to visit them and sit in the sun. An amazing place, thank you Wisteria!

My mother has been at Wisteria Lodge for a few months and from day one she has received the best care possible. Everyone is kind and attentive to her needs. They treat her very well and look after her. My mother suffered a stroke and has quite complex needs and everyone at Wisteria has done the utmost

My mother has been a resident for the last four months. She is confined to bed and confused. We had good reports from two other residents' families and from our initial visit, and throughout our time here my mother has received excellent care and attention from all members of staff, and we have been
treated with care and kindness. Communication is very good and any concerns have been immediately acted upon. We could not wish for more and have complete confidence in every aspect of care.

My brother-in-law has been in Wisteria Lodge for nearly a year, during that time the care he has received has been superb. The staff go above and beyond to ensure that he is as comfortable as possible. Nothing is too much trouble. We are always made welcome when we visit and refreshments are always

My mother has been a resident at Wisteria Lodge since February 2023, and our experience has been completely positive. She is happy, well looked after, safe and in good health for a 94-year-old. The staff are all lovely and treat her with care and complete respect. She enjoys the food - especially the
cakes and desserts. Plus she participates in some activities which she enjoys very much. Our peace of mind since she moved in is priceless.

The care and professionalism shown and delivered by the staff are faultless. The high standards of cleanliness are immediately evident on entering the home and are seen in every area. My Father moved into Wisteria Lodge at the end of June 23 but sadly after a few days his health unexpectedly deteriorated and we lost him a few weeks later. The staff could not have been more supportive and helpful to my Father and my family during his short visit. They were proactive, caring and so
friendly. I would thoroughly recommend Wisteria Lodge to anyone looking for a comfortable home from home for their loved ones. The rooms are lovely and the food is varied and excellent. The staff also make sure visitors are offered refreshments when they visit relatives. Even the laundry was delivered with pride, everything being returned to his wardrobe fresh and clean.
The nursing team are first class and very professional. They were marvellous.
I was so impressed with the culture in the Home. It seems such a happy place. It was a wonderful team effort and everyone contributed to make it a perfect home for my Father.

My mum is in the best place, she enjoys the friendly atmosphere and gets excellent care from all the staff. The nursing staff are always on hand to help and respond so quickly to any medical issues and concerns. The activities team do an amazing job and are very creative and supportive with Mum's physical
condition. The whole team have a good understanding of communication to all parties. This makes it an excellent, well-run home.
