Always a warm welcome when visiting, the house is so clean and tidy no smells of cooking etc. Staff always willing to talk to you and offer a drink when you arrive, my daughter could not be in a better place. Thanks for all you do.

I was hesitant about mum having to go into a home, but I needn't have worried, she has been here for several months now and when I visit her she seems very happy. Mum likes the food and the staff. I myself think that the staff and management do a wonderful job, they are very caring, friendly and treat the residents and visiting family with kindness and respect. The home itself isn't a modern property but it is very homely and clean with very good facilities and activities. Overall I am glad that I chose this care home over more larger home where I don't think mum would be happy.

Over last year I visited many care home with plentiful facilities, en suite bedrooms, many large lounges, cinema, coffee bars and cakes and an army of carers. So when I first visited St Anthonys I was disappointed to find none of the above. How wrong I was, St Anthonys is like a second family, and mum could not be happier. We know the carers and managers well and they do an amazing job of really caring. They go the extra mile. I live abroad so they regularly send me photos and videos. Mum really enjoys the food, the type she is used to. And I am so glad that we did not choose one of the large modern homes where she probably would have been anonymous.
Hi,

Mum's room has just been tastefully refurbished/redecorated which was unilateral on St A's part.
Value for money is in my estimation very good.
They seem to always be on top of the slightest health issues and managed covid exceptionally well with strict protocols - some staff actually lived in to accommodate.

My experience generally is very good. The home seems very clean and tidy and I like the effort the staff put in for particular events like Halloween etc. Despite a difficult start, I believe my mother has had care and support since she has been at St Anthony's. I feel my mother is also safe and secure and is being looked after which is our main priority. Possibly a little more feedback about how my mother is on a day to day basis, what she is eating? How much of her meals is she eating? Is she participating in any of the activities? Is she being encouraged to do so? What are her sleep patterns like? A little feedback would be very welcome.
Thank you very much for your review it helps us to improve the way we look after our service user's. We normally update your sister, but not on daily basis. We are happy to share with you some of the information regarding activities, eating drinking when you visit your mother. Regards.
As a family we are very happy with the care our mum is receiving at St Anthony's. The manager and all the staff are very friendly and looking after Mum very well. She is happy here and her care is wonderful. The home feels like a home as opposed to a business. We are very pleased all round.
