Mum's room has just been tastefully refurbished/redecorated which was unilateral on St A's part.
Value for money is in my estimation very good.
They seem to always be on top of the slightest health issues and managed covid exceptionally well with strict protocols - some staff actually lived in to accommodate.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and positive review. It's truly heartwarming to hear that you feel supported by our team and that we've been able to provide your mum with the care and attention she deserves over the past four years. We're especially glad to know that our team's friendly and proactive approach has made a difference for you and your mum. Your kind words about the refurbishment and our handling of health protocols, especially during Covid, mean a great deal to us. Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment is always a top priority.

My experience generally is very good. The home seems very clean and tidy and I like the effort the staff put in for particular events like Halloween etc. Despite a difficult start, I believe my mother has had care and support since she has been at St Anthony's. I feel my mother is also safe and secure and is being looked after which is our main priority. Possibly a little more feedback about how my mother is on a day to day basis, what she is eating? How much of her meals is she eating? Is she participating in any of the activities? Is she being encouraged to do so? What are her sleep patterns like? A little feedback would be very welcome.
Thank you very much for your review it helps us to improve the way we look after our service user's. We normally update your sister, but not on daily basis. We are happy to share with you some of the information regarding activities, eating drinking when you visit your mother. Regards.
As a family we are very happy with the care our mum is receiving at St Anthony's. The manager and all the staff are very friendly and looking after Mum very well. She is happy here and her care is wonderful. The home feels like a home as opposed to a business. We are very pleased all round.

Visitors are welcome and always offered tea on arrival. After dreading putting Mum in a home, I realise she is happy and well looked after.

The entire care team at St Anthony's works efficiently together to meet the needs of all the residents who have a mix of physical, emotional and cognitive needs. Their care is compassionate and individualised. I never worried about my father's care when he was there.

My husband has been in St Anthony's since July 2021, and I visit twice a week and find the staff very caring to him. The home is always clean, and he is very well looked after. They have activities most days and play lots of music. I admire their dedication to the ladies and gents they look after.

I will start with “a home from home”. My uncle has had some personal issues, which have been very difficult for him. But after some long-term care, support, patience, real care and determination from the staff at St Anthony's, my uncle is finally settled, happy, and feeling safe and secure, and...
The team have turned him around and shown him how safe he is. How every day is a better day, supported him through some dark days, brought the sunshine back into his life.
June 2022, is a new start for my uncle and all of us. I cannot thank the staff and management at St Anthony’s enough. The home that really does care, listens and enjoys its work.
Very professional, all Covid safety procedures followed. Caring staff, friendly and kind to both myself and resident, who is very happy here. Look forward to visiting again.
