My mum's time at Stanborough Lodge was short but I've never seen her happier. She particularly enjoyed the parties. She was suffering from dementia and the care she received was exemplary. As too was the kindness she was shown at the end of her life. The staff at the care home still make me feel like
one of the family.

My mother has been a resident at Stanborough Lodge for two and a half years. In spite of her progressing dementia and inability to communicate, she continues to be happy, content and very much enjoying the company of other people. All of the staff work so hard to ensure residents have the best possible

Mum is now in her 6th month as resident she has been well looked after much better in her appearance and dietary needs improved. Due to the covering staff mum is now checked often by local doctors. Her falls have been prevented her constant supervision by staff and contact with other residents.

My Dad has now been a resident of Stanborough Lodge for a year. He is really happy and it is definitely his home and the other residents and staff his family and friends. He benefits so much from the activities designed to promote memory and movement, social interaction and wellbeing. Before he moved
into the home it felt like we were losing him to dementia. Now with the outstanding care we feel like we have him back. I cannot rate Stanborough Lodge, Joanna and her team highly enough. Just wonderful!

My Father moved in to the home in April 2025, this was a big move for us both from living in his own flat to moving to residential care, the experience from the initial enquiry was outstanding and has continued to be for the whole time he has been a resident.

The Registered Manager is extremely knowledgeable,

supportive and remains in regular Communication, any queries are responded to quickly and efficiently.

The staff team is small, offering continuity of Care, you can see they genuinely care and treat all residents with kindness and compassion.
The staff respond quickly to any change in care needs and keep me updated, it is clear they have excellent communication between them as every member of staff knows exactly what is happening, they.

The home has activities in place which are inclusive to the residence, their family and friends. The staff are always smiling and enthusiastic and keen to make sure everyone enjoys themselves.

I cannot recommend this home highly enough.

i cannot speak highly enough of the service my father and i have received.
The care and kindness of the staff has overwhelmed us both after coping with long months in a hospital. and now needing palliative care, i can see that my father is being so carefully looked after both physically and emotionally.
whenever i have arrived with all the worries such a challenging situation presents , i have left feeling totally reassured... so i feel as if we are both being looked after.
every staff member i have met has been delightful.
he is totally bedridden but always he has a happy story about how the staff take their time with him.
i feel privileged to have met such an extraordinary set of people in such a difficult time.
i can only wish for all people in this situation wherever they are that this level of care is provided.

We were so pleased to find Stanborough Lodge to care for our mother in the final stage of her life. The caring shown by the manager and all the team was outstanding and we knew that everything possible was being done to meet our mother's needs and keep her comfortable. Although the home lacks the
facilities of some larger care homes, we felt that the warm, homely atmosphere suited our mother better than a more hotel style environment. We had the sense of it being a very happy place, where the lovely staff know all the residents really well and provide truly personalised care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I have been visiting a friend in Bentley lodge on a regular basis for companionship to my friend and to help her family as they like her to have regular contact with family and friends.I go into other care homes also but would like to say how warm and welcoming the staff are here. On entering the home
you are greeted with very pleasant staff from the office staff to all the carers and workers helping. There is always someone to help and speak to when needed snd the patient care I would say is excellent. It is a pleasure to be part of and a welcoming place to visit.

MY mum was transferred to Cams Ridge for end of life care in July 2024. We praised the care she received from the staff at Cams Ridge but were upset with owners over fees charged after my mums death on July 7th.Since then having spoken a Director of Cams Ridge I understand more the costs involved after
her death. I was very upset at the time at losing my mum and we should have dealt with the issues differently.I do not want my original opinion to detract from the excellent care she received at Cams Ridge.Through out her care period she was treated exceptionally well and towards the end of her life the care staff could not have done more to cater for her every need.I think it is only fair to put the record straight.

Mum was resident at Cams Ridge for 2.5 years, during that time her care was excellent. Even when she eventually succumbed to dementia the care remained at the highest level. All the staff were excellent, the lady on reception, the nursing staff, the laundry lady, the carers, the young staff who brought
