My friendly has mild dementia, the staff continue to show care and support to my friend even though he often doesn't realise he repeats many requests and actions. I recently attended a BBQ after food, where staff helped and danced with residents and put a smile on many faces.

When my sister and myself first walked into this care home. We immediately felt a warm and friendly atmosphere present. We have never regretted choosing here for our stepfather to live in his twilight years. The management and staff are exceptional. Father was happy here, so well looked after until
his recent passing. I would have no hesitate in recommending this care home to anyone in search of a safe, lovely care home for their parent to stay in.

I have been visiting a friend in Bentley lodge on a regular basis for companionship to my friend and to help her family as they like her to have regular contact with family and friends.I go into other care homes also but would like to say how warm and welcoming the staff are here. On entering the home
you are greeted with very pleasant staff from the office staff to all the carers and workers helping. There is always someone to help and speak to when needed snd the patient care I would say is excellent. It is a pleasure to be part of and a welcoming place to visit.

MY mum was transferred to Cams Ridge for end of life care in July 2024. We praised the care she received from the staff at Cams Ridge but were upset with owners over fees charged after my mums death on July 7th.Since then having spoken a Director of Cams Ridge I understand more the costs involved after
her death. I was very upset at the time at losing my mum and we should have dealt with the issues differently.I do not want my original opinion to detract from the excellent care she received at Cams Ridge.Through out her care period she was treated exceptionally well and towards the end of her life the care staff could not have done more to cater for her every need.I think it is only fair to put the record straight.

Mum was resident at Cams Ridge for 2.5 years, during that time her care was excellent. Even when she eventually succumbed to dementia the care remained at the highest level. All the staff were excellent, the lady on reception, the nursing staff, the laundry lady, the carers, the young staff who brought
her favourite apple juice each morning, they all knew Mum and treated her with kindness & dignity. A most special mention goes to her primary carer who provided great support to both Mum and the family during the most difficult times. Thank you Cams Ridge.
Reply from Marie Toledo, Manager at Cams Ridge

That's lovely to hear. It sounds like your mum has settled in well and is being cared for with kindness and attention. It's reassuring to know the staff are so supportive, the home is well looked after, and that the food is enjoyable too. It must give you real peace of mind knowing she is happy and comfortable at Cams Ridge. Thank you from the whole team and from Management.

My mum was discharged from hospital to the home, suffering ongoing delirium. We were very apprehensive of the move and how she would be able to cope with this change. She was welcomed by all the staff who made an exceptional effort to settle her in. This included the home and deputy manager, the nurses
and carers. They gave their time willingly, listening to our concerns as we tried to explain our mum's needs. This gave us the confidence that we could put our trust in them, putting our minds at rest. Their care has been exemplary throughout the last few months.
The chef prepares her a special soft food diet for which we are very appreciative. The cleaners are friendly and keep the home spotless. The home has a full programme of activities.
The staff are so patient and kind. This kindness has been extended to the whole family - giving us their time willingly, always happy to discuss how things are going or what systems can be put in place to try to help my mum and her ongoing needs.

My mum was at Cams Ridge for a little over 2 months until her passing in July 2025, mum arrived from Hospital for an assessment for ongoing care but sadly her passing came quicker than we expected. Cams Ridge is clean and well maintained, the food supplied was very good, and all the staff are amazing,

My father spent his last three and a half years at Bentley Lodge Nursing Home. While not luxurious, it is clean, welcoming, and resident-friendly. The management continuously makes improvements to enhance residents' comfort and safety, and I appreciate their open-door policy.
The nursing staff is diligent
and caring, providing excellent support with commitment and respect. Other staff, including those in cleaning and cooking, are essential for the facility's smooth operation. The care staff, in particular, are professional and hardworking.
One of my dad's greatest joys was the singing entertainment, and the Activities team works hard to keep residents engaged. Overall, Bentley Lodge offers a welcoming and friendly environment with good care.
