From the start of the residency I have found that all of the staff have been professional, kind, friendly and caring at all times. Indeed, always willing to be of assistance that has made the difference in the excellent level of care that has been received. Many times you need to have compassionate
guidance in making sure my step-mum was as comfortable as it could be in a difficult time of life.
The facilities are comprehensive and interaction through the kind staff made a significant difference. Choice and selection of meals was good with flexibility by the chef / catering team to adapt to personal wishes which often could be a challenge for the team.
Excellent management who maintained close contact throughout the residency and were also supportive to the relations - thoughtful.

My experience has been amazing, always very happy and friendly staff. Nice to see people smiling even when their day has been more difficult. I will definitely recommend this home for your loved ones, if you are not sure just go and visit.

A month into my father's stay at St Anthony's there was a positive change in his demeanor. He looked happy, confident and visibly healthier. This reflects the overall setting of St Anthony's in Watford, where staff were prompt and caring towards any concerns I may have. This medication and various health
checks are met dutifully by the staff who update me before and after his appointments. My father's feelings towards his stay were positive, stating that "they look after me that's for sure" "I have three square meals" "I have proper people looking after me, that's my main concern" "if I'm sick they really look after me".

My Mother was in Westlands and at the start it was rather a rocky road on a few occasions, once I had voiced my concerns and opinions management and I started to get a long. I am very protective of my Mother more so because she can no longer do it herself and if things don't feel right I'll say so .
Thank you to everyone for doing your very best for my Mother. And I wish you all the best for the years ahead.

Service excellent but one small grumble which ascertains to short stay residents only (mine was 2 months) I had a white designer top which was quite expensive and now has the room number shown on the back of it in indelible black marker pen. More care should have been taken to find a more discreet place
in which to place the number.

Felt really welcome and seems like a familiar happy place. I have to say that the nursing staff and manager appeared very helpful and knowledgeable, our family friend being diagnosed with advanced Parkinson's.
I can not comment on the activities and food, as we are visiting in the afternoon, but my
dad's friend appears happy with both.

Stanborough Lodge is a very welcoming home with a lovely atmosphere.
The residents that I have met seem very happy being there, I was very concerned when my mum had to go there due to a not great experience in a previous care home for restbite, but the staff here are all lovely and were there to help
my mum settle in , always keeping me updated with everything.
My mum seems to be improving every time I see her, so thank you to everyone involved.

My mother has been at Westlands for ten years and I cannot thank the entire team enough for the exceptional care and compassion they have shown to my mother. From the very beginning they have created a warm welcoming and safe environment where she feels truly valued and respected.The staff consistently
go above and beyond, not only attending to her physical needs with professionalism and attentiveness, but also taking the time to build genuine relationships with her. It gives our family enormous peace of mind knowing she is surrounded by such kind patient and dedicated individuals every day. What stands out most is the level of dignity and personal attention given to each resident. My mother is treated as an individual with her preferred routines, and personality always taken into account. Communication with our family has been excellent we are kept informed, reassured, and always feel involved. The home itself is clean, comfortable and thoughtfully maintained, contributing to a positive and uplifting atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend this care home to anyone looking for a place where their loved ones will be truly cared for with respect, kindness and genuine compassion.

My mum has been a resident of St Anthony's care home since 2018. She is very well cared for, all staff are excellent with all the care, friendly and make you very welcome.
The care home is always clean.
The food is also excellent.
I would not hesitate in recommending this care home. My mum is happy
and comfortable.

For the last 2 years the ambiance in Bentley lodge has completely changed for the better. The atmosphere is one of joy and in a nursing home catering for patients with dementia this is incredible.
As a family you never know what to expect when you place family in the care of others. At first we questioned
the home but recently it has got better and better.Simply the best!!

Visited mum today on mothering Sunday. Offered drinks on multiple occasions. Mum was clean and fed, sitting in the lounge watching TV. Staff were attentive and helpful.
