Bentley Lodge Care and Nursing Home

Was in the area visiting my friends and family so popped in to see my friend she had a bit of a summer cold but was happy in herself said all staff were looking after her making sure she had plenty of fluids ect my friend said she had just finished a lovely meal and her words the pudding was out of this world made me laugh as my friend can be fuzzy where food is concerned was very chatty and praising the staff up so I left feeling very happy for her

I cannot thank Bently Lodge enough for how they look after my dad on palliative care. From my first chat with the manager, Julie, they were so kind and put my mind completely at rest. Every member of the nursing and care team is amazing. Special thanks to Angie, who went out of her way to learn his hobbies and arrange a personalized activity to make him feel included. My dad has already outlived his initial prognosis, which I put down to the wonderful nursing care here. Because I have no stress or worries about his care, it has made the precious time we have left so much more special and meaningful. Having worked in healthcare for over 10 years, I have never seen such a genuinely caring team. They have made a sad situation so much easier, and my dad is happier than he has been in a very long time.

We have been very impressed with the level of care he has received. The staff and nursing team have been amazing. They are extremely welcoming when we visit and even planned me a small birthday tea when Dad was staying there.

After 3 months of mother being 3 different hospital, we finally got our mother in Bentley Lodge. The staff have been so so helpful and cover all our mum's needs. Mum is not an easy patient at all times. Big, big thanks to Christina who has so much patience. Always willing to help us and keep us updated. Booking her hospital transport and her every need. So grateful to the whole team there.

Service excellent but one small grumble which ascertains to short stay residents only (mine was 2 months) I had a white designer top which was quite expensive and now has the room number shown on the back of it in indelible black marker pen. More care should have been taken to find a more discreet place in which to place the number.

As a family you never know what to expect when you place family in the care of others. At first we questioned the home but recently it has got better and better.Simply the best!!

I have been here at Bentley Lodge for just over two years, following a severe stroke and my previous home being completely inappropriate. As it happens, I will be leaving to move into a flat in Farnham in a few days time, so I am glad to take this opportunity to thank all the staff for the kindness and consideration shown to me. I feel a tremendous debt of gratitude and will always cherish the memory.

Bentley Lodge truly feels like a home-from-home, and we are very grateful for the care he receives.

Christmas was sensational the organisation and hours of work it must have entailed most appreciated. The staff joined in with great gusto at the many events that took place. Special thanks also to the chef and catering staff. All in all I am so pleased to have found such a warm and caring environment for my husband and for me to visit him in each day. Thank you!

I was very sceptical about some of the stories that you see and read about care nursing homes. But after a week of my grandad being here my views were completely changed. He gets all the support that he needs. Staff are always very happy and helpful. Nothing is too much of a problem of them. Always clean and smells nice. The choice of food is really good. Very happy that he is here being cared for.

Although our relative prefers his own space, there are always various activities on offer during the day.

i can only wish for all people in this situation wherever they are that this level of care is provided.

I have been visiting a friend in Bentley lodge on a regular basis for companionship to my friend and to help her family as they like her to have regular contact with family and friends.I go into other care homes also but would like to say how warm and welcoming the staff are here. On entering the home you are greeted with very pleasant staff from the office staff to all the carers and workers helping.There is always someone to help and speak to when needed snd the patient care I would say is excellent. It is a pleasure to be part of and a welcoming place to visit.

The staff are so patient and kind. This kindness has been extended to the whole family - giving us their time willingly, always happy to discuss how things are going or what systems can be put in place to try to help my mum and her ongoing needs.

One of my dad's greatest joys was the singing entertainment, and the Activities team works hard to keep residents engaged. Overall, Bentley Lodge offers a welcoming and friendly environment with good care.

Dementia care needs a special set of skills, and the activities on offer are reflective of that. It's lovely to see how the carers treat my relative like they are a member of their own family. It's very reassuring.

Dad has been well cared for and supported since arriving at Bentley Lodge. I feel relieved to know he is safe and happy when I am not with him. The staff are welcoming and update me regularly on Dad's current needs.

When and if I need care, I would come here.
