All 56 ensuite rooms have been designed to create a warm and cosy home from home feel. Additional facilities include a restaurant served by professional chef’s, spacious living areas, landscaped gardens and courtyard and a dedicated activities space.

My daughter arrived at Bentley Lodge Care and Nursing Home in August 2023 and left in November 2023. Arriving with both her ankles in plaster. She will admit that she must have been quite different to the usual residents they had. From the management, the care staff and cleaning staff, nothing was too
much trouble. Everything was done with a smile. The home has a warm, friendly atmosphere. The care was excellent. The fact that my daughter was a vegetarian, did not faze them in the slightest.

Being fifty-nine and having broken ankles I wasn't Bentley's average resident, but I can truthfully declare that the care I received was second to none.
The Home has a very warm and friendly atmosphere. All of staff, without exception, went above and beyond to support my specific needs.
The Chef and
his staff worked hard to provide tasty food that met my (fussy) dietary needs. Their omelettes are the best I've eaten!
Activities are provided for those wishing to participate. I loved the visiting singers. I enjoyed the stimulating newsletters and how they promoted discussion at the dining tables.
The Home's physiotherapist is encouraging, supportive and extremely knowledgeable. I wouldn't be anywhere near walking again without her sessions.
I'd like to think that I became a better person during my stay at Bentley Lodge.
Thank you so much to the management, staff and residents. My visitors thought that you and the Home were superb.

I have been a regular visitor to the home for over a year, In the last two months I have seen changes for the better in all areas.
They have new management and a new well-being manager who is a breath of fresh air.
On today's visit, the atmosphere was vibrant and there is also the facility to make
hot drinks in the extension lounge which is fantastic and new juice jars if you would prefer a cold drink.
I stayed and joined in the morning activity which very cleverly got residents involved, even those that had said no.
It was magical to see other staff join in and support both residents and each other.
I also noted the difference in the lunch provided, when I commented to a staff member her response was “Yes, we have a new chef and it tastes good too”, she had the biggest smile.
I hope the calm but fun atmosphere continues.

My wife was in a bad way when transferred from a different place in February. Very quickly she improved both physically and mentally. The staff here are exceptionally capable and kind. Very cheerful and positive. Her diet has worked wonders. Physically she now can see a future where she is stronger
and happier.

The staff from the manager to the cleaners, kitchen staff, carers and maintenance man were all excellent. Quick and responsive to all situations. They took the best care they could with my mother, adjusting to all her different needs. I think they're all doing a great job, well done and keep up with

My mother has only been at the home a few months but we are happy with how settled she is.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and any issues are quickly dealt with.
Staff keep us updated which is reassuring.

Was delighted when I entered the home, the atmosphere was so welcoming and comfortable. The staff are so helpful, kind and caring. This home is exactly the sort of place I would like to go to and any of my close relatives if the need ever arose. They have lots of activities as well as excellent care.
Have been for a buffet lunch and the food was really good. Every care/nursing home should be based on the example set at this home.
