My aunt suffered from Dementia, which became progressively worse and culminated in her passing away. Although my aunt was only at St Anthony's for just under 14 months. I and my family visited on a regular basis, and on every occasion, we saw the excellent care and kindness of the staff to meet the resident's needs, and the dignified way in which they were treated. Also, whenever my Aunt was unwell, even something minor, a doctor was called and I was advised of the outcome. I have already recommended St Anthony's to friends and would definitely continue to do so.
The staff show great respect and love to all the residents.

For my first experience, in this or any home, the staff are what will stay with me. Myself and everyone else were treated with great dignity.

Mum moved into the care home 6 months ago. Although it was a very difficult time for both Mum and the family, the support and understanding from all the staff, made the transition easier. From the start, we were welcomed with kindness. Mum has now settled in and speaks positively about the care she receives. Mum has made friends and developed new skills organised by the excellent activities coordinator. She has benefited from regular home-cooked meals, together with plenty of drinks throughout the day. During times of confusion and uncertainty as a consequence of Dementia, Mum is always treated with care and sensitivity. The staff are truly dedicated.
Very happy with the care mum receives. Keeps us updated with any needs she requires and any new medication she's on.
Mum is happy and settled, staff, are friendly and helpful and meets mum's needs.

My aunt moved into St Anthony's almost 3 years ago and I have visited here on a weekly basis ever since. I have always found the home to be warm, clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly and professional putting the resident's well-being first. There is regular entertainment including sing-a-longs and quizzes. For those able to attend they have an annual summer trip to Ruislip Lido for a pub lunch, an August BBQ where relatives and friends are welcome, a trip into Watford town for Christmas shopping followed by afternoon tea and cakes. It's good to visit and know when leaving that my aunt is safe, happy and well cared for.
Home is run very efficiently. Lovely welcoming staff. Not the most up-to-date furniture wise but certainly adequate for needs. Have been accommodating for my father who was wrongly discharged from the hospital. Good choice of food and accommodate likes/dislikes on daily basis.

When my husband and myself first went to the home the owners and staff greeted us very warmly. Every time we visited, nothing was too much trouble. The home has a very warm and friendly atmosphere and is like a home from home. The rooms are all a good size and staff are all aware of the people being residents or visitors coming and going and always greet you by name. Each resident has their own carer. I myself, cannot fault the home about anything.

With some very challenging circumstances at times, it is my belief that the home functions very well indeed and the residents that I meet seem very contented.
