The service and care my mother received while at Bradfield was second to none. From day one till the day she passed away her care was exemplary in every way. She could not have been in better hands, I do believe that she found peace, tranquillity and happiness all the time she spent at...
The bosses and staff could not do enough for those in their care. I cannot thank them enough for all their kindness.

The whole team were caring, confident and welcoming. Mum is a very private person, however the personal care offered was done in such a way that she relaxed and made the most of being looked after.
From our initial telephone call when we were invited to 'just drop in at any time' (always a very good sign) to seeing how the team at Bradfields looked after their residents and the quality of the house, from the food to the warmth just told us that mum would be well looked after. So much so that she has regained her strength and independence.
Many thanks to all.

My mother was a resident of Bradfield Residential Home for just over three years and during this time she was very happy and content. She was extremely well cared for and treated with great kindness/ dignity by all members of the staff.
She enjoyed the daily activities organised by the home and appreciated the many musicians who came to the home on a regular basis to entertain the residents.
She very much enjoyed her meals.
She felt very safe and secure in the home and if she felt unwell, the staff treated the situation seriously and sought the correct remedy.
The staff were fantastic, caring and helpful. Very clean and food very good. Couldn't ask for a better care home.

My mother, at 104, needs a good deal of help, especially after falling and breaking her hip last year. The help is cheerfully given and her condition carefully monitored. Her quality of life is inevitably much diminished but she always seems happy; this must be down to the care she receives from the staff. As a visitor I always feel welcome at the home, tea or coffee is always offered.

Rebecca has been part of Bradfield since the very beginning, when her parents founded the home in 1995. Having grown up alongside the business, she has developed a deep understanding of the values, commitment, and high standards that continue to define Bradfield today.
After completing her A-levels, Rebecca graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University with a BA/BSc (Hons) in Business Studies with Tourism and Leisure. She has also achieved the Registered Managers Award and holds an NVQ Level 4 in leadership and management in health and social care.
As Registered Manager, Rebecca oversees the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care in a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment. Her responsibilities include medication management, quality assurance, risk assessments, health and safety, staff training and development, activities, care planning, and catering services.
Rebecca is supported in her role by her husband, David, and together they are committed to maintaining the warm, family-focused atmosphere that has been at the heart of Bradfield since it first opened.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys reading, keeping active at the gym, and walking her two dogs. She is also a busy mum to three children, who attend local schools and enjoy a variety of extracurricular activities including rugby, music, dance, and singing. Balancing family life with her professional responsibilities, Rebecca remains passionate about providing exceptional care and ensuring Bradfield continues to feel like home for every resident.

David joined the Bradfield team in 2005 after a successful career in retail management. Together with his wife, Rebecca, he has played a key role in the continued growth and development of the home. The couple live within the grounds of Bradfield with their three children, allowing them to be closely involved in the day-to-day life of the home.
David holds the QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Residential Management. Together, David and Rebecca manage the day-to-day running of Bradfield, combining their skills and experience to ensure the home provides the highest standards of care and a warm, family-focused environment. David's responsibilities include recruitment and admissions, advertising and marketing, financial management, contract management, and overseeing the maintenance and development of the building and grounds.
Over the years, David has successfully managed a number of building, refurbishment, and expansion projects, helping to modernise and improve the home while ensuring it continues to meet the changing needs of residents. One of his proudest achievements has been leading the expansion of Bradfield from 21 bedrooms to its current capacity of 33. He continues to oversee ongoing maintenance and development projects, ensuring the home remains safe, comfortable, and welcoming for both residents and staff.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family, keeping active, and taking part in watersports. He also enjoys supporting his children's sporting events and performances. During the COVID-19 lockdown, he developed a passion for koi carp and pond keeping, building his own pond at Generals Meadow, and giving unwanted fish from local ponds a new home. David and Rebecca's two friendly dogs, Tilly and Pippa, are regular visitors to the home, where they bring companionship and plenty of smiles to residents.
