My mother has been a resident at Lavenders for almost a year and I cannot speak highly enough of everyone that works there. Nothing is too much trouble and they go the extra mile to help. She was ill earlier in the year and they organised the local doctors to attend to and cared for her.

Words cannot express how wonderful the care and attention provided for my mum by the Lavenders.
Everyone is fully engaged to make the experience second to none. The fact that the home is family-run comes through in everything provided. The staff are always prepared to go the extra mile and are so
approachable. Throughout Covid, the carers went above and beyond as family couldn't visit as a result of lockdowns. Since then there has really been no change to their approach at all. Mum has been a resident at Lavenders for nearly four years. Over that time we have always been extremely happy, and the quality of care is exemplary. As a doctor myself I appreciate that providing the level of care I would wish my family to receive is the benchmark I set and the Lavenders fulfils this completely. I would recommend the Lavenders wholeheartedly and would be happy to be a resident myself when my time comes. A big thank you from me.

My mother has resided at Lavenders since April 2021 and has found a new lease on life at the age of 93! Being able to have her own furniture in her room helped her settle in very quickly. The staff are all very personable and caring which is a comfort to us as a family. With numerous activities being
laid on daily, my mother's life has been enriched and she participates in almost every activity. Lavenders are in a beautiful setting and many residents take advantage of spending time in the grounds which obviously has many health benefits. I would highly recommend Lavenders.

The home is bright, warm and clean and set within very attractive gardens. The food looks good and every contact with the housekeeping/catering staff was cheerful and accommodating. My experience with some of the care staff has been very disappointing; there were some regular care staff who came across
as judgmental, inflexible, unwelcoming and who did little to hide their impatience with our mother. I am sure that this was a minority of the care staff, but nevertheless, it was noticed by myself and my sisters. When our mother became more challenging to look after, we were asked to move her to another care home, which she found distressing and disorientating at the age of 93.

I have been repeatedly impressed by the level of devotion, kindness and professionalism from all the staff and management. The building is lovely, the gardens are beautiful and, what's more, I have felt confident that my mum's health and safety has been preserved during the COVID-19 outbreak, due to
the intelligent planning and wise policies developed by the home, long before Government guidelines were even issued.

All at Lavenders have worked tirelessly to ensure our relatives have remained safe during the pandemic. Organising Skype so that we can continue to have face to face chats, following up the smaller day to day queries that crop up every now and again, and planning safely distanced visits in the garden.
I was a regular visitor to Mum prior to lockdown and valued the approach of staff who understood the need for individual choice over how care is provided. The food has always been of the highest standard and the cleanliness outstanding, rooms are bright and for my mum, to have access to outdoor space was very important. Miss our afternoons sitting out in the lovely gardens but I know they have continued to provide her with the same opportunities. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lavenders.

I would highly recommend this care home to anyone. The staff are excellent, friendly and caring. The atmosphere is lovely and visitors are very welcome.
Their handling of the coronavirus has been exceptional with no cases reported amongst both residents and staff. We have been kept well informed throughout
and are now looking forward to meeting in the lovely gardens.

Very good standard of care, with helpful staff and low levels of staff turnover. Rooms vary in size and cost. It is very helpful to have several sitting rooms and dining rooms, rather than just a couple of rooms. Large and pleasant grounds.

We feel very lucky to have found such a kind, caring and safe environment for my auntie to enjoy. Most noticeable is the fact that residents can maintain their independence, continue to spend their day as they choose yet all the time having the peace of mind that help is there as needed. Nothing is

My mother joined Lavenders in January and as a family, we cannot fault the care she has received. Everyone goes above and beyond to ensure that she has everything she needs. The pandemic has been a trying time for us all but the staff at Lavenders have done all they can to mitigate the effects for their
residents. This all sounds very worthy but there is a lot of fun too. Mum was full of her day at Royal Ascot! Thank you to all of the staff for all your kindness.

The care is always excellent but, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the owners and staff have gone out of their way to provide a safe and happy home for the residents. Extra provisions of PPE for the staff coupled with testing facilities for both staff and residents have ensured all are kept safe. Sadly,
visitors have been prohibited during the past three months but, again, this has ensured our loved ones have been kept away from any likely sources of infection.
The brilliant news is that the owners are trialling safe visits in the garden so we are looking forward to seeing our loved ones again shortly.
Lavenders has always provided the best in care and support to its residents and their families but has excelled itself at this very difficult time. Well done to the manager and your team and thank you.

Lavenders is a caring residential home, excellent staff caring and experienced. The home is well run in a beautiful setting in the Kent countryside gardens are picturesque and well maintained. Rooms are clean and comfortable with all the appropriate amenities required by an elderly person. Meals are
all freshly prepared and not bought in. A good choice of breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are numerous activities organised by the staff and outings in the in-house bus. The residents are encouraged to participate in these various activities if they want to. Hairdresser and chiropodist when required. Regular visits by a local doctor. The residents are allowed a television in their room or can watch with other residents in one of the communal lounges.
Visitors are welcomed at any time and not a set time allocated by the staff.

My mother moved to Lavenders 18 months ago and neither she nor the family has had the least regret or concern. It is superbly well run and the residents are at the heart of everything they do. The owners do not stint at making the surroundings as safe and pleasant as possible. The staff too are loyal
and go above and beyond to create a friendly, homely environment. Family members are also treated with respect and consideration at all times. I can particularly commend the home for its approach during the Coronavirus pandemic. Every conceivable care and precaution has been taken to keep people safe and happy. Thank you all so much.

I have been really pleased with the care that Lavenders have given my mother. She is fitter and happier now than she was when she lived independently. All of the staff are caring and professional, the food looks and smells delicious, and the whole place is spotlessly clean. There are plenty of varied
activities for residents. Lavenders have been particularly good at keeping in touch and providing Skype access during lockdown. Lavenders provides high-quality care for my mother and peace of mind for the rest of the family.
