Roselands is a very special place. My brother was withdrawn prior to his admission. While there, he enjoyed sitting in the dayroom and eating meals in the dining room, plus going out on excursions in their minibus. Roselands was his home. He was happy there. It is a very special place.

My husband moved into Bradbury House Nursing Home, Aylesford in August 2025 for respite care whilst I was having chemotherapy treatment and necessary recovery. He was there for 5 months. Whilst there he was extremely well cared for. The staff were so kind to him and made him very welcome. His room
was well equipped with everything he could possibly want and was always kept so clean. The meals were varied, suiting all tastes and the Christmas lunch was superb. Activities were varied and a lot of fun, some being cleverly devised to give residents some exercise as well as enjoyment.
I would highly recommend Bradbury House.

Since our mum went to Halden Heights, the team have been absolutely amazing. Mum had memory & mobility problems, but she was always part of the activities & events. We were able to make mum's room like her old home, which was a great comfort to her.
All the staff have been so kind, caring and supportive,
especially during mum's end of life care.
As a family, we would thoroughly recommend Halden Heights. Thanks again to all the team under Daisy's management.

Halden Heights Nursing Home

Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
My mother spent nearly 8 months at Halden Heights. She had complex health needs which required specialist nursing. We found the care to be consistent and good. The medically qualified nursing staff were extremely supportive - both for helping my mother settle in and keeping us, the family, up to date
and informed about her treatment. The carers were friendly and a number of them developed a real rapport with my mother - not easy as she was deaf. Against the odds the staff managed to coax and encourage my mother to sit in the residents' lounge each day - no mean feat as she was very frail and mainly bed-bound when she arrived. It's a challenging time when a family member needs to move into care, but the management and staff worked well to ease the transition for us all. We attended a number of the 'friends & family' activities that were put on for everyone to enjoy - it was lovely to see staff and residents getting involved in the entertainment. HH is a good and caring facility.
Reply from Eleanor Healthcare Group, Halden Heights Team at Halden Heights Nursing HomeThank you so much for sharing such a thoughtful and honest reflection. It means a great deal to hear that your mum received the specialist care and support she needed, and that both she and your family felt well looked after throughout. We know how difficult that transition can be, so it's heartening to know the team helped make it a little easier. Your kind words about the connection the staff built, especially given the challenges, truly mean a lot. We're so pleased those shared moments, like the friends and family activities, brought some light during a difficult time. Thank you again for your trust and support.

I would like to share my positive experiences regarding the care my partner is receiving at Bradbury House Nursing Home, Aylesford.
It truly feels like living in a four-star, fully inclusive hotel. The food is excellent-well-presented, home-cooked, and served in the dining room. The rooms are all
very airy, featuring large windows and en-suite facilities, each equipped with a television, making them very comfortable. The care home also offers a variety of full activities throughout the day, and the cleanliness is consistently excellent, maintained to a high standard.
All of the staff are incredibly friendly and approachable. They genuinely care for the residents and create a warm, welcoming environment. My partner is very happy there, and I am more than satisfied with the level of care and support he receives.

My dad moved into the home in December 2025. All staff from day one have made him and us feel welcome, safe and cared for. They go above and beyond on a daily basis. The activities calendar is excellent and varied. My dad eats well, always tells me how good the food is.
And when he's sundowning at
4am, the night team get him a cup of tea. Knowing he's safe means I can finally get sleep too.
The laundry is super quick, the care team make dressing and showering a nice experience for him. And reception staff are great. The admissions team made it feel more like a chat and helped with the forms.
It's been the best thing for my dad.
I have no complaints.

Hartley House Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My wife has been at Hartley House for 18 months now. In that time her vascular dementia has swung constantly and neither the staff or myself know where we'll be in the next hour.
Having looked at several other homes, I chose Hartley for several reasons - it is single story, and so she was not shut
in on the first floor. Being built around two courtyards it is easy to navigate. Another point is that - there is never any smell- you can't say that about some other homes.
No matter what her mood, ALL of the staff are wonderful. I was amazed that after the first week, many of them already greeted me warmly by my first name.
There is an open door policy with regard to the Manager, Team Leaders and so you can always talk to them.
Her room is probably the furthest from the main door and like some others is due for refreshing in the near future.
In the unfortunate circumstance that a relative or loved one needs dementia care, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Hartley House.
Reply from Eleanor Healthcare Group, Hartley House Team at Hartley House Care HomeThank you so much for sharing your experience so openly. It's clear how much thought and care went into choosing the right place for your wife, and we're truly grateful that you placed that trust in Hartley House. Dementia can bring so many ups and downs, and we're glad the team has been a consistent, supportive presence for both of you. Your kind words about the staff, the environment, and the open communication really do mean a lot and we're always here to listen, support, and improve wherever we can. Thank you again.

The place is clean and doesn't smell of urine or poop which is very common in some home care facilities. The well kept gardens are a refuge for mentally and physically able patients to relax and mingle.
The staff are very friendly and always ready to listen, not only to the patients concerns but to
the family members as well.
Patient care is excellent despite of personnel shortage at times. I hope that administration will be able to solve the staffing problem.
I don't know the inner workings but I can say that
The facility is like a well oiled machine that runs very smoothly.
Thank you to everyone.

My mum came into the home in October 24. At first it was very good, but went very down hill when the then manageress left. I, and my family were concerned, but under the present manageress the improvements have been really good. She is very approachable and hands-on, and the staff are caring and friendly.
We have all noticed the improvement in the atmosphere in the home. It now feels welcoming again, and I am always updated on any change in my mum's health. I am very pleased with Mum's case

As soon as my mum walked into Lavenders, she knew it was the right place for her. She was fed up with living until she moved in.
My mum loved living at Lavenders, it's a warm, friendly, well-established home with friendly , caring staff and residents that openly welcomed her. She had a new lease of
life, it was wonderful to watch - she bloomed.
She loved the home cooked food on offer and the cooks were happy to talk to her to adjust meal size to her needs. She was always telling us what was on the menu.
Unfortunately, she was only there for a short time, but long enough to know that she was happy there. She had her own room . There is plenty of activities to do which she joined in and loved.
She had as much help with her needs as she needed, still keeping her independence, going for walks around the lovely grounds or the town/park nearby or out in the car with us.
It's a shame that she couldn't have more time at Lavenders - she loved it. Thank you for looking after her!
Reply from Eleanor Healthcare Group, Lavender's Team at LavendersThank you so much for sharing such a heartfelt message. It's incredibly moving to hear how your mum found comfort, joy, and a renewed sense of life during her time with us. Seeing someone truly bloom and feel at home is everything we hope to offer. We're so sorry her time with us was short, but it means the world to know it was meaningful, not just for her, but for your whole family. Thank you for your trust, and for letting us be part of her journey.

Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
The dedication of all staff to residents is very noticeable. Residents are part of the family, there is dedication to both residents and their families and to their happiness. The property is very clean and comfortable. The food prepared by on-site chefs is good quality and varied the variety of activities
each day are very good and varied, and inclusive of the residents. During warmer weather the garden includes an aviary with a variety of birds, very relaxing.
I am very pleased with my choice of residential care for my partner and I am very happy that she is receiving a very high standard of care.
