My Uncle is being cared for extremely well.Staff show a lot of compassion and patience towards him which gives me peace of mind as i live a long way away and can only visit him every 6 weeks or so. He is very comfortable bless him.

My father in law arrived at Conewood Manor Nursing Home in mid March 2025. He was there for end of life care (Terrence). From the moment of his arrival he was greeted with kindness and care. The staff were very helpful and caring to Terry. The last four weeks when he was very ill, the care was exceptional. The staff nurse spoke to Kathy (his wife) frequently about his condition. The end was dignified and all of us are grateful.

Although a very short time, myself and my family spent every day there for hours in end which really gave us and insight to how the home works and the excellent care that is provided.
The nurses and carers were caring, respectful and honest. They treated my husband with dignity and consulted with us on every aspect of his end of life care. He had dementia so they never knew the man he was but they took time to chat to us to find out what he was like so they could tailor their approach to him as an individual.

Every single member of staff always greeted me warmly when I arrived and were always asking if there was anything I needed in support of my brother, to whom they were always very caring and compassionate. Lovely room, surroundings and garden, where he received the best possible care, always making sure he was clean, fed and made comfortable. My dad received the most amazing care during his short, end of life care in Conewood Manor. The nurses, carers and cleaning staff where all so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. They made myself and my family welcome and were more than happy for daily phone calls when we were unable to be there due to living 4 hrs drive away. The Home itself was clean and well kept and the food looked very appetising. The gardens are lovely very accessible .

I live in Spain and when I was told my dad was going into a care home I was really worried. My sister visited and we had some FaceTimes and she assured me how lovely it was and how absolutely fantastic all the staff were. I arrived and was absolutely blown away by how very caring everyone was and how hard they all worked to ensure my dad's care was top standard! He was able to enjoy the garden which took a lot of hoisting dad and there was never a complaint from any of the staff. The cleaners were out daily and I felt so comfortable being there. My mum was a resident of Conewood Manor for 5 years. All members of staff were amazing! The care and love my mum received from every member of staff was fantastic. They made sure she was always comfortable and always ensured she was encouraged to take part in their many activities. The facilities they have are also great. I never had any concerns with any member of staff, over the years they became more like family. The home is very well run and always very clean. My mother has been in Conewood Manor Nursing Home for two weeks and she has settled so well and the happiest she has been in a very long time. This is down to the excellent compassionate care shown by all the staff. The level of care is second to none and the cleanliness and food are absolutely first class. Husband entered home from hospital. Lovely room, settled well and Alzheimer's behaviour allowed. Felt like home. Manager most informed and compassionate professional we have met during whole 8 years of his illness. Husband's stay was short (3 months) but it took a tremendous strain off my shoulders. We had tried 3 times to get respite care in 3 local homes. First try - 6 days out of 14, second 6 days out of 14, third 23 hours out of 14 days. Dignified death. My brother was admitted to Conewood Manor directly from hospital where he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I cannot praise this facility highly enough. Within 24 hours they had given my brother some pride back. They were so very attentive and never missed a thing. The staff were extremely understanding and friendly to us all. My brother had great meals and his care was exemplary, they had pamper days, hairdressers, games, activities, singers and a whole host more to keep their residents stimulated. Unfortunately my brothers cancer was aggressive and he passed way too soon. The staff were extremely sensitive and accommodating to the whole family during this sad time.

My mum was in Conewood Manor Nursing Home just 3 months on palliative care. They made her last weeks as best as they could be, The food was excellent and plentiful. The activities varied and enjoyable. They also took lots of photos, all of Mum smiling, playing Bingo, baking and various other games. Conewood Manor is an exceptional community nurturing individualised care, activities, and nursing. Over the past 9 months, our Dad has received attentive nursing managing his type 1 diabetes complications and dementia, alongside compassion and respect from all staff. To be surrounded by love and calm we know our Dad's wishes were fulfilled when he recently returned from hospital to his safe home at Conewood for end-of-life nursing care. The Conewood Manor community hosts meetings with residents' families, listens, and acts on feedback, always with a smile, support, and kindness. The activities team hosts a varied programme of activities and entertainment in the dedicated activities room, the lounge, or the garden celebrating residents' individuality and providing stimulation, community, and fun. The staff were all so kind and compassionate and we got to know the lovely little community that is Conewood. My dad's needs were complex and he has now recently passed away, but as a family, we knew Dad was receiving the best care and that he was happy and content, which is all anyone can ask for. Meet the Team (4)
Roza is the Deputy Manager at Conewood Manor since 2014 and is a registered nurse in the UK since 2009. She is a qualified nurse in Hungary since 2006. She provides hands-on care to patients by administering medications, observing and monitoring patients' conditions, maintaining records and communicating with a multi-disciplinary team, for example: doctors, social services, dieticians.
She leads the patient's care with the other nurses and carers in our home. She provides advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
Roza helps create a nurturing and empathetic home with her excellent interpersonal skills. Roza helps to instil first class care for all of our residents.
Illeana ensures high standards of nursing care to all our residents.
Iuliana ensures high standards of nursing care to all our residents.
Phil has been our maintenance man with Conewood Manor since 2009. He knows all of the residents so well and always stops to chat with each of them. When residents have the capacity, he involves the residents with his work around the home.
