Lavenders staff are extremely caring, and nothing is too much trouble for them.
Since being at Lavenders; she has a new lease of life as she has made many new friends and because of their numerous activities now has a really good social life.
Lavenders, has by far, exceeded our expectations.

The care given to my father is first class. He has enjoyed and participated in most of the social activities for a long time. He is now unable to join in events but he is not forgotten by the staff. Lavenders is a very caring, well-run home with friendly staff. The food is very good and the buildings and grounds are extremely pleasant and well kept. Grounds are well cared for. Location is lovely. Staff are friendly, helpful and caring at all times. Rooms and communal areas are clean and regularly maintained/refreshed. Professional care. Meals are OK. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I cannot fault Lavenders. My mother has been there six months and although she found it hard to start with, she is very happy now. All the staff are wonderful, caring and kind. Any problems, medical or general, they are fast to resolve it. It has a lovely, homely feel, warm and inviting. The food is
great and always has homemade cakes, everything is freshly cooked. I would not hesitate to recommend Lavenders.

Attentive and caring staff provide a comfortable and safe environment.

Lavenders is a caring and clean home unlike some which greet you with the smell of urine and décor of some distant past. Their décor is fresh and modern. The folk who live here have always liked nice things and a nice home, not too much to ask now they need extra care. I would definitely recommend.

Lavenders is an exceptional care home. Residents are treated with dignity and compassion, they are provided with an array of opportunities to socialise during the week,m while at the same time having their privacy respected. Set in beautiful grounds, Lavenders feels like home. The buildings are far
from institutional and the team of carers create the feeling of an extended family. My aunt has been delighted by the care she has received.

Lavenders is a family run business. Staff are caring and nothing is too much trouble. Everything is done with a smile and with patience. Many staff members have been at Lavenders for a long time.
The environment is delightful - lovely gardens that are accessible. The rooms are well decorated and homely.
Management
is efficient and professional but also very caring, kind and efficient.
I honestly cannot fault this care home for the way it treats every resident - and their visitors - with the utmost respect and care.

My mother is 94 years old and lived independently in her own home until she was temporarily hospitalised following a fall.
She has since transferred between three care homes.
The first was unsuited to her needs (it was a nursing home rather than a care home).
The second was in an old Victorian property
where she had a top floor room accessible only by lift so she could only leave her room when staff were available to operate the lift. She spent several days and most nights locked in her room.
In contrast, Lavenders has been a revelation - ground floor room, good food, regular entertainment, lovely caring staff, medication/hearing aids etc dealt with conscientiously.
Grounds to walk in, close to the village.
In short, everything she could ask for.
I cannot commend this home highly enough.

I have been very impressed with Lavenders in particular, the management open and friendly always available. Staff- excellent show a caring/friendly attitude.
Facilities - Numerous entertainment available and residents encouraged to join in.

I visited a lady in Lavenders residential home for 4 ½, the care home has excelled they always went that extra mile. The love, kindness they gave all the patients there is excellent. I have never been in to such an excellent place, they have a very good team there to make it run so well. My friend sadly
died on Thursday 29th November, she had no family only a Nephew in Australia. The staff were with her all the time as she slipped away into gods hands. I sat with her in the afternoon and thanked all the staff that I saw to say if I had to end my days in Lavenders I would be at peace, lovely place lovely people I could not speak more highly of it.

My respite stay after a knee replacement for a two week period was excellent in terms of the care and support provided, and the facilities available. I was more than pleased with the decision to go to Lavenders following my operation which certainly has assisted with my recovery.
