My mother has been at St Peter's for nearly three years, and I have always felt she has been well cared for. Her needs have been met well, and her health has been excellent, given she is 101.

My mother has been in St Peter's Care Home since November 2019. The care given has always been good, and the staff at St Peter's go above and beyond in making residents feel cared for and loved. I have no doubts about recommending this home to others.

My mother has been a resident in St Peter's for the last seven months. She is extremely happy there and has no complaints so far. As a family, we find the staff to be very kind and caring. In every way, we have been more than happy for our mother to remain thee, and she also feels this way.

Staff are very helpful, answer all our questions, and medical info is passed on to us very well. The maintenance men have been great in helping us to get my aunt settled into her room. She seems quite happy there. This is all new to us, but the staff have been great. We feel so happy with her being there.

My aunt seems quite content in her new home. She enoys the entertainment provided and spends time sitting in the garden. Her room has a lovely sea view which gives her something to look at when she is in her room. Being the only vegetarian, there has brought some challenges for the kitchen staff to provide variety.

My mother has been in St Peter's, for nearly two years. She is very well looked after and happy. The staff are not only staff but give care, attention and affection. They are really caring people, not just there for the job. Even when really busy, they always make time. She has never complained about anyone. The food is good and the cleanliness, second to none. It always smells lovely and clean. The cleaning staff, do a lovely job. I always get a lovely welcome, even from management and I visit several times, a week. I am allowed to make myself a drink.

I can’t think of anywhere else, that my Mum, could be. I would recommend to anybody and do.

From the first approach, following a long and disappointing search, I was greeted with courtesy, professionalism and a confidence bourne of the certainty of their own ability to provide the manner of care for my husband that I sought.

All levels of staff treated my husband with respect and a positivity which made him feel secure and cared for and which enabled me, for the first time to leave him with somewhere else.

This Nursing Home is faultless! The care is exemplary, the staff are extremely pleasant relaxed and friendly. When I first came to look at St Peter's, the first thing I noticed is how pleasant the home smelt! I then noticed the beautiful drapes, very thick, superbly made. I asked why these curtains were so beautiful and obviously expensive? The reply was - 'we could have bought cheaper ones, but we face the sea, this is the residents home and it should reflect that.' What a lovely way to run a home and yes, even in the bleak midwinter the Home is always very very warm and not draughty. The Home is spotlessly clean, the visitors can make their own tea whenever they want, my Dad's room is overlooking the sea and is en-suite. There is activities for the residents to do nearly every day. I think St Peter's is very very reasonable for the service they offer. St Peter's Care Home has a 'thumbs up' from me, and Thank You so much for looking after my Dad so fantastically.

From walking in and meeting the management and the staff I am so happy at my mother being cared for here. The care, compassion and dignity given is first class. Their attention to detail is superb, cleanliness is excellent, activities are 7 days a week. The food is excellent and all the staff interact with the families from the moment you enter having such a welcoming effect. My own mother cannot speak but such great care and TLC given to her and including her observing many activities and seeing her now smile at staff say so much to me. I cannot thank them enough.

The staff at St Peter's know the residents well as individuals and give very good care which is very well matched to their needs. They quickly spot when there has been a change in the resident's' needs, whether short-term or long-term and take appropriate action. There is a very cheerful and pleasant atmosphere at St Peter's. The physical environment is very comfortable and pleasant. The food is excellent.

My father is a resident in this wonderful home and all his days are happy and fulfilled. He is 97 years old. The dignity and attention to his individual needs and wishes (and that of the family) are always paramount in the care shown. He is kept well by excellent health/infection management. He is kept happy by love, activities and excellent food. It is truly his home in all senses.

I was so impressed by the service provided to my Grandmother. First of all, I live in Northern America, distance could obviously have made things extremely difficult to organise, but everything went so smoothly from the very first contact. Then the stay itself was just perfect, my Grandmother was very reluctant to even speak about a home but after her surgery and before I could make it to England we did not have many options. Not only did she enjoy her stay, but she now speaks about it all the time. She really loved it. Thank you so much for the superb customer experience. We are so grateful to such a dedicated staff.

I cannot recommend St Peter's highly enough - or thank them enough. My father (95) had been poorly for several months and went in for a week's respite care in February 2016 and he was a changed man within 4 days! He agreed to stay another week and before that week was up he had decided to move in permanently and has settled in very well. I put this largely down to the superb staff. They are friendly, approachable, caring, clearly know their jobs well and seem genuinely to enjoy their work. They know the residents very well - all those little quirks! - and always have time to chat and show personal interest. They are equally friendly and helpful to visitors and any questions are quickly answered. Rooms are well equipped, everywhere is beautifully clean, the food is good (I can recommend their cake and Sunday roast!), and there's a good range of activities. It is a huge relief to know that dad is happy in a safe environment where people go out of their way to make it feel like home.
