Feedback is always welcome and as a company we take onboard any comments to improve our service. We are sorry you felt the need to raise a concern with CQC surrounding your mum's care, we have conducted a full investigation into your concerns and found no cause for concern, but we took on board your feedback and discussed with you ways to move forward. Sadly, following your mum's admission to hospital her care needs had increased and after an assessment it was identified by the care home and ward sister agreed that mum's needs could not be met at Dale Mount. It is always sad when a client cannot return home however we have to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all clients within the Care home.
Thanks to them, my mother has a comfortable and peaceful passing which was a great comfort to us. Again, I can't recommend this home highly enough.
I am, though, not happy with the service provided by their head office. The telephone is never answered and I am lucky if my email is acknowledged. They have not explained why a certain sum of money has been debited.

I joined Nicholas James Care Home in June 2000 as a part-time care assistant. The company was supportive, and I enjoyed working in such a friendly environment. In 2007, my career progressed to deputy manager.
This supporting role gave me everything I needed to further my career, and in 2014, I became the registered manager for Dale Lodge & Dale Mount! I am a very dedicated and loyal person when it comes to both family and work. I always look for team members who are honest, accountable, have integrity and good principles.

I began working at Dale Lodge/Mount Care Home in 2017 as a Health Care Assistant. Through dedication, continuous learning, and a passion for delivering high-quality care, I progressed to the role of Team Leader. My commitment to supporting both residents and staff led to my promotion to Deputy Manager, where I took on greater responsibilities. My journey at Dale Lodge/Mount has provided me with valuable experience in leadership, team coordination, and person-centred care.
