My mother lived in this home for almost six years and passed away recently. I can't recommend the home highly enough, the care is second to none. Staff were always friendly, helpful and informative but most importantly the care given to the residents is superb. In her last days, she was treated with love, care and compassion and the efforts of the staff simply overwhelmed me.

Thanks to them, my mother has a comfortable and peaceful passing which was a great comfort to us. Again, I can't recommend this home highly enough.

My mum is cared for, is always clean and well dressed. She is content and feels secure. She is always treated with dignity and respect by the carers. As there are so many carers, one carer sometimes is not in a position to inform me about details concerning my mum. Laundry items do get mixed up. However, overall, I am pleased with the care provided by Dale Mount.

I am, though, not happy with the service provided by their head office. The telephone is never answered and I am lucky if my email is acknowledged. They have not explained why a certain sum of money has been debited.

Myself and my husband visit our friend every week, she always looks clean, tidy and seems happy. The staff are always happy, cheerful and ready to help with any problems that my occur.
All the residents seem happy and if for any reason one is unhappy the staff always spend the time to sort them out and resolve their problems.
Management are always on hand to help if we need it.

Overall we are very content with the care our friend is getting at Dale Mount.

I visit my friend 3 or 4 times a week. The carers are very caring. My friend relies on them completely as he cannot walk (shuffle) without his walking frame. Nothing is too much trouble. Over 90% have dementia so they are very busy with them, but they always find the time to chat and check up on him health wise.

From what I have seen my mother in law is looked after and cared for very well. Staff are always available to answer our questions and I feel happy that she is in a safe environment, which gives peace of mind as we live quite a distance away. If any problems occur Dale Mount always phone us and keep us up to date. Overall I am very pleased with Dale Mount.

A very caring home. Clean and fresh. Kind staff that are understanding. Like all homes more staff would make a difference. Laundry seems to go walk about with wrong clothes in wrong place. Very happy that my step father is well looked after.

Having to choose a Care Home for Mum was one of the hardest things I have had to do but became necessary when her dementia became too severe. Having visited other Homes in the area, I chose Dale Mount as it is relatively small and has a lovely "homely" feel to it. Mum shares a bedroom with another resident but it is very large and she has more than enough space for her own things.

The lounge, dining room and bedroom are always very clean and fresh.

The most important thing though is that the lovely staff are always happy, kind and helpful. They not only care for their residents but truly care about them. Mum's dementia can make her feel agitated/anxious at times and the staff are very patient and spend time with her until she is calm again. They can anticipate Mum's needs as she is unable to communicate them for herself.

Due to her dementia, Mum is unable to say for herself - but I can tell that Mum is very fond of her carers and I am more than satisfied that she is safe and well looked after which is the most important thing to me.

I am truly grateful to the staff.
