Oxford Beaumont Care Community is a converted Edwardian House with picturesque and landscaped gardens and an interior that is comfortably furnished and spacious.

The service is based upon achieving first class nursing and residential care. There is also a respite service designed to assist families needing short or emergency breaks, as well as apartments dedicated to independent living.

We can't thank the staff enough for the kindness and care they have given our mum over the last 18 months. It has been a great comfort over recent months when we haven't been able to visit to know that she is in such good hands. It's a lovely home in beautiful surroundings with beautiful people.

Mum spent her final eight months at this home. From the outset, they couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. The arts and crafts activities gave mum a new lease of life, she loved receiving visitors (pre-Covid). The morning and afternoon tea trolly were welcomed by residents and visitors
alike. Mums final weeks couldn't have been made more comfortable and the staff really cared and were happy to talk to me on a daily basis with updates/concerns. I would wholeheartedly recommend this home for a loved one.

Came to visit on 30th December. Everyone made great effort (fancy dress) to make it a really enjoyable evening. The kitchen made a tasty buffet. Entertainment fun for all family. Thanks for the friendly atmosphere as always.

The Oxford Beaumont is an excellent care home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My mother is in an independent living flat, so does not get any physical or health care, but she can eat in the restaurant and join in with all the activities. There is a full and varied program. Yesterday evening
she attended an evening show with a very good singer, wine and snacks and a Halloween theme. Well organised by the head of activities who is always cheerful and friendly.

I am responsible for a friend who lives at the Oxford Beaumont and I visit almost every day for a few hours. I have found the Oxford Beaumont very welcoming and friendly. My friend receives good care and attention, although nothing can be like at home for her! She has been at times a challenge for the
staff but she was always been treated with patience and care.
I am very impressed by most of the carers but must admit my mixed feelings about a few agency people whose manners, with the residents, are rather 'off-hand' and lacking in understanding of the needs and state of mind.
Is it is due to poor training, personality or simply a cultural difference? I also realise that recruitment can be a problem.

Mum went into a respite for one week,
The staff were amazing, friendly and professional. Mum had a lovely time. The food was lovely she was helped when needed and joined in with as many activities as she could.

Mum has been in the home for 18 months now. There have been issues which when highlighted are resolved but there is never any risk to Mum. The staff are lovely and genuinely care about the residents. Food is amazing and if not to their taste they will try and prepare what they want. The home is clean
and the housekeeping staff are always busy and ensuring a consistently high standard. Mum has maintained her strength and ability since being here and I am pleased that we chose this home above others.

My journey into health and social care, as well as my time at Oxford Beaumont, began quite unexpectedly. In 2014, while studying, I took a short-term role as a bank cashier to improve my English. What was originally meant to last only three months ended up being a life-changing experience. Through everyday conversations and connections with residents, I discovered how deeply rewarding it is to care for others, which completely changed my career path.


After completing my Master’s in Law in 2016, I chose to follow my heart and fully commit to health and social care. Throughout my career development, I progressed from Carer to Senior Carer, then became Administrator, and now I have the privilege of leading this exceptional home.


Alongside my dedicated team, we are unwavering in our commitment to providing our residents with the highest quality support and care every single day. I am deeply passionate about fostering a community where everyone receives outstanding support. We empower our residents to live fulfilling lives and celebrate each moment. I moved here in late April 2024 and the warm welcome extended to me by everyone here made my transition to a care environment very easy - I quickly felt included and valued.


My role is to be an ambassador for the incredible care that we receive at Oxford Beaumont and to be the voice of the residents about anything at all that comes up. I’m often to be found near the front door, so am easily available if anyone fancies a chat! Perhaps teaching for nearly 40 years has helped with confidence and a genuine enjoyment of being with many different people.


I support the staff here in speaking to prospective residents about long-term or respite care and I’m happy to share my positive experience of settling in and becoming part of this friendly community.

Our social contact with each other is a key part of staying well, happy and purposeful, and I much enjoy chatting, joining in the activities and contributing to the friendliness of mealtimes. We get to know each other well and care about each other, which makes it a special community to be part of.


I can wholeheartedly recommend the Oxford Beaumont to anyone considering a move into a care home, whether short or long stay – we are well looked after and it is a wonderful environment to be in.


We also have a lovely avenue of trees in the garden where we can enjoy being together outside too when the weather permits.

Hello, I am Graham and I am a member of the Activities Committee here at the Oxford Beaumont Care Community.


Since being at Oxford Beaumont I have enjoyed attending lots of different activities and supporting the Activity Team as part of the Committee wearing my favourite pink t-shirt.


My favourite activities are word searches, armchair exercises, minibus trips and live entertainment at the care home.


I do my best to encourage other Residents to participate in the life enrichment activities and fulfil their well-being by doing so.

My journey with Oxford Beaumont began in December 2022, a significant moment as my beloved wife made Oxford Beaumont her permanent residence. As the Family & Friends Ambassador, I foster communication between the team and the community of residents, families, and friends. This collaborative effort is instrumental in maintaining a high-quality, compassionate, and responsive approach to care.
