Lime Tree House

The management and staff were very accommodating to organise emergency, short stay. Communication and updates were easy to access. The staff were always friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and bright.

My mother has been living at Lime Tree House for over three years now, and has been looked after very well. She likes lots of company and would have been very lonely living in her previous flat if she had been able to stay there. The staff have been friendly and caring and worked very hard during the pandemic, for which we are most grateful. The residents were well catered for and entertained at Christmas, and my mother was happy to be there.

There is a good sense of community in the home.

We have also found the staff to be very friendly towards us and very approachable if we have any concerns.

My mother entered the home two weeks ago. The staff have been wonderful and made her most welcome. In my mother's words, "I have no complaints".

My great-grandma lives in Lime Tree and although during the pandemic there wasn’t much to do, she and most of Lime Tree and have constant checkups. The staff also give the residents free time to spend alone or with friends. I think we are so lucky to have Lime Tree House.

I have always found the staff at Lime Tree to be extremely helpful. They are very easy to approach when trying to sort out problems with loved ones and are very respectful. In the short time my mother has been living there, she has received a huge amount of day to day medical treatment. They try very hard to make sure that everyone's mental health is taken care of, arranging numerous activities weekly.

Mum has lived at Lime Tree House for over 5 years now. The care given by the team at Lime Tree House is first class and, as Mum's frailty has increased over time, the support given to her and our family has adapted accordingly. Mum is well cared for and safe, she is looked after with dignity and respect and she is relaxed and happy. Her, and family, wishes are sought, communication is good, there is a range of daily activities that Mum can get involved in should she choose to and her quality of life and choices are important to the team. Lime Tree House is very much Mum's 'home', not just the place where Mum lives. Thank you team.

Mum moved to Lime Tree House in January when her previous care home had to close. She is really happy. Lime Tree House have erected a visiting "pod" in the garden which enables me to see and talk to Mum through a perspex partition. She loves the staff and the care they provide, enjoys her meals and is very happy with her accommodation. All of the staff I have spoken to are fabulous. I receive regular personal updates on planned activities. I cannot speak highly enough of Lime Tree House.

I find being able to talk to my sister quietly in one of the 3 lounges very restful and a bonus when they always offer me a cup of tea and a cake.

I was overwhelmed by my treatment at Lime Tree it exceeded my expectations by a large margin. When my time comes to needing permanent residential care Lime Tree House will be my first choice without a doubt.

I needed respite acre following major surgery. The wonderful care I had exceeded all my expectations. Everything was excellent in every way. The kindness and care from the exemplary standard set by the managers were followed by every other person working in Lime Tree House. My husband and I were very impressed by the number of times the managers walked the job.

My father was a resident in this care home for nearly two years. At the ages of 99 to 101, he received good care and was very happy here. It was always a pleasure to visit a very friendly place.

Our father was considerably well cared for at Lime Tree House for two years with both respect and dignity. The staff are very personable and have a close rapport with all residents and family/friends.

I have a long association with Lime Tree House, visiting a relation and various friends who have stayed there. The manager is very helpful and the staff team are all very kind and caring to the residents. They go out of their way to improve the quality of life for the people who are living there.

Our mother is very happy here. We find the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. It feels like a family home, not like an institution. The interior is attractive with a light and airy feel. The rooms are pleasant and the cleanliness is good. There is a very good relationship with families, who can come and go and take their relatives out easily. The carers/staff are lovely, very attentive, friendly and helpful. Our mum receives excellent care and all necessary safety measures are provided. Good range of activities. The number of residents ideal, not too many or too few, each are appreciated and respected individually. Food and drink good and generous. The manager is excellent and generates a warm friendly ethos. All much appreciated.

My mum has only been here for respite for 18 days and as I live in Derbyshire, I have only had two brief visits, to bring my mum in and to collect her today. My impressions personally and I believe from my conversations with mum, is that she has enjoyed and benefitted from being there.
