Lime Tree House is a residential care home situated in the delightful village of Ringmer, East Sussex, a few miles from the historic town of Lewes.

Lime Tree House offers 24-hour care for all residents. All staff have regular in-house training, NVQ training and attend courses relevant to care of the elderly.

Lime Tree House has 30 bedrooms, all are ensuite. Lime Tree House has a pleasant lounge and dining room overlooking accessible gardens. The garden has a timber decking and well-maintained lawns, flower beds and trees.

They have their own catering staff and use local produce. They have weekly deliveries of fresh food by the local butcher/greengrocer.

Lime Tree House believe everyone is entitled to privacy, dignity and respect - and staff are aware that the needs of the residents are paramount.

Visitors are welcome except meal times. However, if you want to have meal with your relatives and friends, this can be accommodated in advance.

My great-grandma lives in Lime Tree and although during the pandemic there wasn’t much to do, she and most of Lime Tree and have constant checkups. The staff also give the residents free time to spend alone or with friends. I think we are so lucky to have Lime Tree House.

Having lived at Lime Tree House for nearly 39 months, I have received the very best of personal care that a retired person can wish for.
This is a very comfortable and caring home with superb management and care staff who have given me both close friendship and encouragement in and human rights. This
home is giving me the highest of life in my autumn years.

I have always found the staff at Lime Tree to be extremely helpful. They are very easy to approach when trying to sort out problems with loved ones and are very respectful. In the short time my mother has been living there, she has received a huge amount of day to day medical treatment. They try very
hard to make sure that everyone's mental health is taken care of, arranging numerous activities weekly.

Mum has lived at Lime Tree House for over 5 years now. The care given by the team at Lime Tree House is first class and, as Mum's frailty has increased over time, the support given to her and our family has adapted accordingly. Mum is well cared for and safe, she is looked after with dignity and respect
and she is relaxed and happy. Her, and family, wishes are sought, communication is good, there is a range of daily activities that Mum can get involved in should she choose to and her quality of life and choices are important to the team. Lime Tree House is very much Mum's 'home', not just the place where Mum lives. Thank you team.

Mum moved to Lime Tree House in January when her previous care home had to close. She is really happy. Lime Tree House have erected a visiting "pod" in the garden which enables me to see and talk to Mum through a perspex partition. She loves the staff and the care they provide, enjoys her meals and
is very happy with her accommodation. All of the staff I have spoken to are fabulous. I receive regular personal updates on planned activities. I cannot speak highly enough of Lime Tree House.

I find this a very well run care home. The staff are kind and helpful. There seems to be a genuine effort to involve residents in games, singing etc.
I find being able to talk to my sister quietly in one of the 3 lounges very restful and a bonus when they always offer me a cup of tea and a cake.

I needed respite acre following major surgery. The wonderful care I had exceeded all my expectations. Everything was excellent in every way. I am 82 and a half and disabled with my wife as my registered carer. She had to have a hysterectomy at short notice, so I lost my carer for a couple of weeks and going into short term care was appropriate for me.
I was overwhelmed by my treatment at Lime Tree it exceeded my expectations by a large
margin. When my time comes to needing permanent residential care Lime Tree House will be my first choice without a doubt.

Highly recommended care home. Top-quality management and staff provided. An all-round professional care facility. Our father was considerably well cared for at Lime Tree House for two years with both respect and dignity. The staff are exceptionally kind; no task is too much trouble, and always each aspect of care is carried out with a smile and professionalism.
I am delighted to have been able to move my mother into the holistic care of these wonderful people at Lime Tree House and we, as a family, will always look

Our mother is very happy here. We find the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. It feels like a family home, not like an institution. The interior is attractive with a light and airy feel. The rooms are pleasant and the cleanliness is good. There is a very good relationship with families, who can come
and go and take their relatives out easily. The carers/staff are lovely, very attentive, friendly and helpful. Our mum receives excellent care and all necessary safety measures are provided. Good range of activities. The number of residents ideal, not too many or too few, each are appreciated and respected individually. Food and drink good and generous. My mum has only been here for respite for 18 days and as I live in Derbyshire, I have only had two brief visits, to bring my mum in and to collect her today. My impressions personally and I believe from my conversations with mum, is that she has enjoyed and benefitted from being there.

Lime Tree House is a home from home for its residents. It’s a home, not a workplace. I have always been welcomed on my arrival at the home. From the manager cascading down, “CARE” is the optimum word towards the residents in their care. I would recommend Lime Tree House Residential Home.

Lime Tree House is run by an amazing team, I am so impressed by this amazing home and the care they provide. My grandfather is in such good hands. They have activities planned which are relevant and fun. Great food prepared on site and they even get taken to the cinema every so often. I highly recommend

It was easy to see that Lime Tree House was clean and comfortable and well maintained with plenty of facilities, but the most important thing was the staff and how they would treat her, which was not easy to know. In fact, I need not have worried; I have been delighted and constantly surprised at the
way she has been taken care of. The unfailing kindness and cheerfulness, day-in-day-out, has been way beyond professional. As my mother’s needs increased, you increased your support — but always managing to treat her as a person, not a patient. As the end approached, you supported my sister in every way, giving her the freedom to tend to my mother as she wanted, but also for making it possible for her to take a break now and then, knowing she could rely on you to watch over her. The people running Lime Tree House obviously intend it to be this way, which is wonderful, but the staff they have found have been truly amazing at doing it. I can only say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
