I can honestly say that Mum is in the best home. Care is fantastic, food amazing and everyone is friendly and welcoming. She is looked after so well and feels safe and secure. Every where is clean, comfy and it's a real home from home. We feel very lucky she was able to come to Lime Tree House.

Staff worked hard to keep residents occupied Management were very good.

The nursing home was very helpful when searching for respite care for my elderly mother. The process was very smooth and professional. The nursing care provided was very good during her stay. The whole home was spotlessly clean and fresh. Her room was a good size, views of the outside and had all she required.

We contacted Grasmere rest home when we were looking to move mum up from another care home to be closer to us.

They have been responsive to questions and proactive in helping us facilitate the move once it was agreed they could meet her needs.

It is evident that the care is personalised with very thorough assessments and we have been impressed that she has already been seen by therapy professionals.

The staff having been caring and encouraging and it has been reassuring to see how mum has started to engage and take part in the activities which are adapted for inclusivity.

Being able to access notes helps identify if there are concerns and being able to communicate and discuss these issues openly enables plans to be put in place to help address.any issues.

The home feels very welcoming and staff are very approachable. We have certainly felt more relaxed and reassured now she has been in the home nearly a month.

Mum has only been in Grasmere Care Home for 1 month so it is still early days, but so far we have been extremely happy with the care she has received. When looking for a suitable provision we were really impressed with the responsiveness of the manager and admin team and from the moment we stepped through the door to view the home it had a calmness and warmth that we had not experienced in other places. The assessment process was very thorough and the team were incredibly supportive in helping us sort out the transition from another local authority. Since being in Grasmere the team have arranged for both the occupational therapist and physiotherapist to review mums needs and have implemented any recommendations. Staff are friendly and open and access to the online portal allows us to see mums daily care notes. The activities organiser is excellent, adapting activities so all are included and posting regular updates so families can see what's going on and share the joy he brings.

Very grateful for all the support from Highbury House. Amazing care from the team as my step father now sadly approaches the end of life. Compassionate, caring and dignified treatment. Can't thank the team enough.

Heatherdene Nursing Home where very good to my aunt and really took the time to provide her with the best care possible. She had been in and out of hospital/other care homes with no long term stability, Heatherdene gave that to her.

The staff were always knowledgeable and caring and provided stability for my aunt and piece of mind for her family and friends.

Freshford Cottage provided not just outstanding care for my sister when supporting her end of life care but also loved, respected and took time to get to know her and that meant the world to Emma and our family.

From the first communication with Diana we knew that this was a supportive and caring environment. I honestly can't thank all the team for their professionalism and the quality of care that was provided. Nothing was too much to ask.

The staff not just cared for my sister but also made sure my mum was supportive when visiting her daughter at the most challenging time.

They always inform us if there is any issue s and let us know how she has been doing or if there was a problem always go above and beyond Jo also let's mum use her phone to FaceTime her sister which is very much appreciated

I cannot be more pleased with the care that my husband has received since last September. He was very poorly when he was admitted, and no one envisaged any improvements, but with the love and care he has been shown, there have been improvements which have amazed our family. There is always a warm welcome when I visit, and I am always offered tea. There are always members of staff around to discuss any worries or concerns that I may have. There is a wide range of activities on offer, which is so beneficial. I bless the day I found Freshford Cottage.

Our Mum has only been at Freshford Cottage for just over a week, and in her words, it is like staying in a 5 star hotel. She has a lovely room upstairs with a sea view and overlooking the salts recreation ground. The staff have been amazing and nothing is too much trouble. They have facilities going on during the day throughout the week, so residents would never get bored. Our Mum has a large family who visit her regularly, we are always treated with the upmost respect and pleased to say the kettle is always on. Our Mum loves to chat and there is always someone on hand to listen to her. We can't ask for anymore. Our Mums happiness is paramount, and we as a family are pleased that they are taking great care of our precious Mum. Thank you so much to the brilliant staff at Freshford Cottage, couldn't wish for a more friendly family orientated place for Mum to be.

I'm so glad that Freshford Cottage was recommended to me. They are so caring and give such brilliant support to my wife who suffers from dementia and various other mental health problems. Initially I felt guilty not being able to care for her myself, but she wasn't safe at home. The staff at Freshford spend a lot of time with her, not just for medical reasons but also to chat and engage with her. Being a small home with I believe only a maximum of 18 residents makes it feel very personal. All the staff are very approachable and keep me involved with her care.

Heatherdene Nursing Home. Is home from home. On arrival, my mother-in-law settled in very quickly. The staff very professional, kind and caring. Heatherdene is a well-managed home. I found the communication excellent when visiting my mother-in-law, updating me how she was/had been. Which I found very reassuring. Heatherdene is a very clean home and my mother-in-law enjoyed the food very much. The staff always welcoming on visits along with a nice cup of tea and slice of homemade cake. I would highly recommend Heatherdene.

My extremely frail uncle came to Lime Tree House in 2022 when it became clear he was no longer able to look after himself at home. The care and support he was given at Lime Tree House was truly excellent. Being welcomed into the Lime Tree House 'family' really improved his health and his quality of life, and as a result he had 3 happy 'bonus years' that I am certain he would not otherwise have had. The kindness of the staff towards all residents shines through, and residents are genuinely cared for, not just looked after.
