Lime Tree House has 30 bedrooms, all are ensuite. Lime Tree House has a pleasant lounge and dining room overlooking accessible gardens. The garden has a timber decking and well-maintained lawns, flower beds and trees.
They have their own catering staff and use local produce. They have weekly deliveries of fresh food by the local butcher/greengrocer.
Lime Tree House believe everyone is entitled to privacy, dignity and respect - and staff are aware that the needs of the residents are paramount.
Visitors are welcome except meal times. However, if you want to have meal with your relatives and friends, this can be accommodated in advance.

I can honestly say that Mum is in the best home. Care is fantastic, food amazing and everyone is friendly and welcoming. She is looked after so well and feels safe and secure. Every where is clean, comfy and it's a real home from home. We feel very lucky she was able to come to Lime Tree House.

My extremely frail uncle came to Lime Tree House in 2022 when it became clear he was no longer able to look after himself at home. The care and support he was given at Lime Tree House was truly excellent. Being welcomed into the Lime Tree House 'family' really improved his health and his quality of life, and as a result he had 3 happy 'bonus years' that I am certain he would not otherwise have had. The kindness of the staff towards all residents shines through, and residents are genuinely cared for, not just looked after.

My Dad has been living in Lime Tree House for 18 months. It wasn't an easy transition for him, but the staff were patient, kind and encouraging to him. Over time, my Dad's mental capacity has significantly decreased which was expected with his dementia diagnosis.

My Dad has been living in Lime Tree House for 18 months. It wasn't an easy transition for him, but the staff were patient, kind and encouraging to him. Over time, my Dad's mental capacity has significantly decreased which was expected with his dementia diagnosis.
I remain confident that his care and welfare needs are fully met by the staff. They KNOW my Dad and understand him. It's a small home and the person centered care is amazing.
The manager Stacey, is a calm, professional and caring. The staff have been there all the time by Dad has and some have been there for many years. This was really important to me.
The food is also freshly cooked, nutritious and tasty.
I work in the social care sector and therefore have high standards for my Dad's care. I have never been concerned that his emotional or physical care hasn't been met to a high standard.

My wife has been in Lime Tree House since 13/10/2025 following a period of respite. Since then, the staff have been so helpful, and assisting her to settle in and accept the permanency of her stay. I am so grateful to everyone at the home for looking after her in a way I can no longer achieve. She appears happy and content, although she has a reluctance to ask the staff if she needs something. She feels a nuisance by doing so. The home is the best one she has been in. The bedroom and community rooms are well furnished and welcoming. There is a freshness about the place. The staff are so helpful, pleasant and understanding. I trust them to look after my wife who I have loved for 66 years. Since I am unable to give the care and attention she needs and deserves, I am more than willing to commit her to the care of Lime Tree House.

I am very happy with Lime Tree House. The staff have all been amazing and have encouraged mum to join in some of the very varied activities. Movement and meditation a particular favourite. The home is light and bright and the food excellent.

My uncle chose this wonderful homely residential care home after we had received an in-depth tour from the manager, who spent time answering all our natural concerns for him to transfer from independent living to a home filled with other residents, of all capabilities. We were impressed with what we were shown and grateful for the speedy transfer. My uncle has taken a few weeks to settle in but overall is feeling secure and well cared for, he loves the fact that we as his family are able to drop by unannounced to visit him. The staff are kind, and caring and always acknowledge us whenever we call by. The home is spoilt less and has a feeling of homely things around. The activity team are great, thinking up different things for the residents to take part in daily should they wish. I love to follow all the fun activities on social media.

There was a warm welcome for our mum when she arrived at Lime Tree care home in March 2023. Her previous residence had left her in poor health and the family were becoming concerned.
Given a beautiful sunny room, surrounded by personal items, enjoyed good home-cooked food and received love and care from all who met her. The staff were diligent with her physical and mental needs and she soon became stronger and was encouraged to take part in the many activities that the home offered.
Family and friends were always made to feel welcome when visiting, and communication by phone, email and social media was regular.
The manager and staff helped our parents celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a splendid cream tea.
Six months on, with Mum's health restored, she has left Lime Tree and returned to the family home.
Given a beautiful sunny room, surrounded by personal items, enjoyed good home-cooked food and received love and care from all who met her. The staff were diligent with her physical and mental needs and she soon became stronger and was encouraged to take part in the many activities that the home offered.
Family and friends were always made to feel welcome when visiting, and communication by phone, email and social media was regular.

My friend has been a resident for ten months. Her room is newly decorated and she was allowed to bring her personal belongings and her furniture. All the office staff and carers have been very caring and friendly and have been very welcoming to me. The social media page is brilliant so I can see my friend enjoying herself with activities and special events which means if I can't get in when I phone I know what to talk about. My friend is very happy at Lime Tree it did take a her a few months for her to settle. The only criticism I would say is an email or text or a note on social media if the home is closed due to covid or sickness.

I started at Lime Tree House in March 2022 as Head Housekeeper, I take pride in my work and have built a strong team around me who supports me in the Housekeeping Department, keeping the home in high standards of cleanliness and following strict infection control procedures. Staff are always friendly and the thing I like about working at the home is being part of a dedicated team and also interacting with all our lovely residents.
