Lime Tree House

Lime Tree House is a home from home for its residents. It’s a home, not a workplace. I have always been welcomed on my arrival at the home. From the manager cascading down, “CARE” is the optimum word towards the residents in their care. I would recommend Lime Tree House Residential Home.

All staff are pleasant, helpful and kind. For some, nothing is too much trouble. My mother is enjoying her stay.

Lime Tree House is run by an amazing team, I am so impressed by this amazing home and the care they provide. My grandfather is in such good hands. They have activities planned which are relevant and fun. Great food prepared on site and they even get taken to the cinema every so often. I highly recommend this home and love visiting for lunch.

It was easy to see that Lime Tree House was clean and comfortable and well maintained with plenty of facilities, but the most important thing was the staff and how they would treat her, which was not easy to know. In fact, I need not have worried; I have been delighted and constantly surprised at the way she has been taken care of. The unfailing kindness and cheerfulness, day-in-day-out, has been way beyond professional. As my mother’s needs increased, you increased your support — but always managing to treat her as a person, not a patient. As the end approached, you supported my sister in every way, giving her the freedom to tend to my mother as she wanted, but also for making it possible for her to take a break now and then, knowing she could rely on you to watch over her. The people running Lime Tree House obviously intend it to be this way, which is wonderful, but the staff they have found have been truly amazing at doing it. I can only say thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Lime Tree House is a lovely place and I am so pleased that my mother lives there. She has advanced dementia and has been there for nearly three years, during which time I have visited hundreds of times and never seen anything remotely questionable going on. Visitors can let themselves in at any time of the day and all aspects of the operation of the home are clearly on display all the time. Nothing to hide! The welcoming atmosphere is detectable the moment one steps through the door.

Residents are treated with respect, dignity and affection, and their individual capacities well understood and catered for. Some prefer to socialise a lot and live most of their time in the common rooms; others prefer to stay in their own rooms and receive all their care, meals etc there. Both those preferences and everything in between are catered for without fuss, and visitors are welcome at almost any time, both in the common rooms and in residents' own rooms.

Lime Tree House is an outstanding care home. The environment is clean, tidy and beautifully decorated to create a homely place to live. The staff, from the manager across the whole team, are wonderful, warm, encouraging and friendly. They all welcome the whole family and are loving and kind to my father who regularly tells me how happy he is to be here. A super home

Lime Tree House is truly a wonderful place for elderly people. We looked at 6 other homes and none of them compared to the atmosphere, friendliness and staff-engagement at this home. The residents are treated respectfully and with compassion. So much thought goes into their daily care and there is a strong sense of community among the residents and whole staff body. I highly recommend Lime Tree House.
