Mum is so well looked after. All the staff are very friendly and approachable and nothing is too much trouble. We are always welcomed when we visit. Since Mum went into Grasmere I have felt nothing but relief that Mum is well cared for. Grasmere is such a happy place.

manager has headed up a kindly, caring and compassionate staff team who have fed, worked with, stimulated, befriended and cared for all the clients needs since her arrival two and a half years ago. Always we have been impressed with the efficiency care and detail which the staff show to ensure the welfare of residents, whether it be medical, comfort, food, stimulation, activities or celebrations for anything and everything. She had a difficult start here, but kindly consistency won her over and she felt at home and became part of the Grasmere family.
We are so grateful for all that was done for her.

on offer is to be commended. The open invitation for families to participate with residents at events or even meals is reassuring. There is a friendly feel to the environment felt when visiting residents. There is an online facility, that offers family members to look up various aspects of the residents in care. We are happy to have found Grasmere as a care home and hope that the home continues to offer the standards it has given during our Mother's stay.

each item and would still say they are excellent. However, we still say costs are very high but are aware of the costs of maintaining a care home particularly where staff salaries are concerned.

The home invite families to events, even hosting a Fireworks Party this week which was a really intimate "Grasmere Family" resident/carer/family mix with all ages enjoying a superb display of fireworks. There is always a happy atmosphere in the home, often with music playing. Mum's room is always clean and tidy with fresh bedding and clothes daily. Mum always says how good the food is and it seems that her likes and dislikes are taken into account. The staff are always available to answer any questions that we have and we feel that Mum is safely and kindly cared for. Thank you to the Manager and all the wonderful staff at Grasmere.

noticed how happy she is generally and is eating so much better and has maintained a good varied diet.
