Having now visited our friend at Hartfield House several times, I would just like to say how impressed I am with all aspects of this lovely home. If I should ever need to move into a home I trust it would be of a similar standard to Hartfield House. Well done to all involved and in particular, the staff who are all very pleasant and so caring. Thank you.

My great aunt spent more than 10 years at Hartfield House and received a lot of good care and support throughout her time. The nurses took good care of her and built a strong and deep relationship with her over time. The premises and facilities were always well kept clean and organised and the food was great. My aunt was always treated with respect and care and was continuously encouraged to be active and learn throughout her time at Hartfield House. All in all, I would recommend anyone to consider Hartfield House as a caring and loving place for the elderly.

My mother moved to Hartfield House one year ago after realising she could no longer safely live by herself. She entered as a temporary resident but was so happy in her new home that she opted to become a permanent resident. The management and staff are very caring and there is always a friendly face at the door when one visits. As a family, it is good to know that our mother is in a safe environment and that we would be alerted if there are any concerns.

My mum came to Hartfield House in 2012 soon after dad was admitted to hospital after a fall, he spent a long time in a hospital and later went into a nursing home. Mum spent a long time at Hartfield House, she was very content and well looked after, she would still be at Hartfield but her health has deteriorated and she now needs nursing care. She still talks about Hartfield and the staff with fondness. Many thanks for your care and attention.

Hartfield House is now referred to as 'home' by my mother who moved in last September. She is extremely happy living there and is very settled. It has such a lovely atmosphere, very welcoming and friendly and is like being part of one big family. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the management/staff - who work tirelessly to make sure that the residents have a varied and interesting selection of activities and visitors are always made very welcome.

My Mother was in the Care Home for 20 months following the death of my Father. It took a while for Mum to adjust to living in a totally different environment. The staff were very supportive throughout her time there, always very caring and courteous. The food always looked appetising with good sized portions.

The Care Home always encourage the residents to take part in activities throughout the week. Mum particularly liked going out on trips either in the minibus or on a one to one basis, where the staff would take her to town in her wheelchair.

I cannot fault the staff, they were excellent. Always providing us with an update on Mum's progress, always asking if we would like a hot drink on arrival. The staff looked at us as part of their extended family.

We found Hartfield House very welcoming and the atmosphere was that of a guest house rather than a rest home. The staff were very friendly, particularly the manageress. If at any time my mother has to return to a rest house Hartfield House will be on our list. We can only thank you all for all your help and patience.

Our Mother has been a resident at Hartfield House Care Home since February 2016.The facility and staff are all very good. There are weekly activities to keep the residents active. As a bonus they have an excellent menu which is prepared and cooked by the homes own staff.
The welcome we receive when we visit is also very good, you are made to feel part of our mother's ongoing care.

We fully recommend this care home.

My dad and all of his family and friends felt like it was his and our home while he was there. The whole team gave him consistently great care and attention. I cannot thank the team there enough. Our experience with Hartfield House has changed my perception of care homes for ever - and for much, much better. The food was great, the accommodation homely, and the carers actually genuinely cared for him and all of their other guests.
