De La Warr Parade, Bexhill-on-Sea TN40 1LB
Offering sea views, the Normanhurst is located on the seafront, by De La Warr Parade in Bexhill on Sea.
The Normanhurst complex, under the same ownership since 1968, consists of three homes on the same site: the Normanhurst Care Home, Normanhurst Nursing Home; and Normanhurst Annexe.
These homes provide residential care, nursing care and dementia care for the elderly, whether private or funded.
Care is tailored to suit the resident's individual needs, covering long-term, respite and palliative care.
Residents can move between the homes if needed, being cared for without moving location, or having to re-organize their affairs. This helps to remove worries about changes in the future. Administration, housekeeping, food etc would remain unchanged.
Staff are very caring and well qualified and have in-depth knowledge and experience, but are always willing to have further training to keep up to date with new care methods, innovations and requirements of regulators.
Staff create a warm, friendly atmosphere, where residents feel safe and protected, and can live in dignity and comfort. Family and friends are always welcome.
All food is prepared by staff, using as much fresh produce as possible, and making sure that food is nutritious and tasty. A daily menu is offered with many options, and those with special dietary needs are catered for.
Two activities organisers arrange a wide variety of activities and outings, both on an individual and group basis.
