Every time I am over for a visit, I see firsthand the care and kindness provided to all the residents.
The care is absolutely first-class, including all medical and personal needs. It is an absolute blessing to know Mum is so safe and happy.
Thank you for your review; we are really happy to hear that you and Mum are pleased with the service and that she feels very well looked after.
Mum has been at the Normanhurst Residential Care Home for just over a year now. From the staff in reception, the carers day and night, to the office staff and the manager, Mum has received fantastic care and understanding. They all have such patience and always go that extra mile to make sure Mum is comfortable and has what she needs. It's been reassuring to me and my wife to see Mum settled and happy there. She loves that it's near the seafront, town and her friends and family. We too have found all the office staff and carers communication with us, brilliant. Thank you for looking after Mum so well!
Thank you for your lovely review of the home and especially your comments about the staff.
I wouldn't change anything there is, always lots of activities for her to join in and I join in sometimes as well. The menus change everyday and always a good choice.
Thank you for your kind response. As always we look forward to welcoming you on your next visit.
Staff are always friendly when we visit. The activities and entertainment are very good. Nice families can join in also. The menu choices are fantastic and the cleanliness is very good. Communication is good between myself and the home.
We thank you for your review. As always, we look forward to welcoming you on your next visit.
Such a lovely place, with lovely care. Always made me welcome when I come to visit my sister. Really feels like it's all about the care, unlike other places I have visited. Very happy.
We thank you for your continued support and as always look forward to welcoming you on your next visit.
The communication from the staff to keep me abreast of Mum's health is also extremely good. I highly recommend the care home.
We thank you for your continued support and as always look forward to welcoming you on your next visit.
I've been coming here to see my friend four-five years now. If anyone were ever to ask me to recommend a care home I would put the Normanhurst Residential Care Home at the top of the list!
We thank you for your continued support and as always look forward to welcoming you on your next visit.
My mother is happy and feels secure in this warm and friendly environment.
As always, the staff have made a special effort at Christmas time.
We thank you for your continued support, and as always, look forward to welcoming you on your next visit.
Absolutely delighted to see my father so happy and well cared for in the Normanhurst.
The staff are wonderful: patient, kind and reassuring with occasional and entirely appropriate arm touches or hand-holding which are so reassuring for someone like my Dad who has Alzheimers.
Whenever he is unwell or needs extra care, we know he is in good hands.
All the staff are very approachable and some go out of their way to answer inevitable questions which arise when adjustments have to be made by residents who come from their own private homes to live in community.
Friendly and caring staff. You are made welcome.
Since I have been here I find the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The food is fine as I have a choice at all meal times.
Should I need help, there is someone here at the press of a button.
The home is very friendly. The staff know all the residents and have time to talk to them. They always have things for them to do or entertainment coming in for them to enjoy. You can stay for lunch or tea with them. They are able to come and go as they want.
I feel very settled here. I'm glad I chose to come here. It's good that I can walk on the promenade a short way and see the sea from my bedroom window.
