York Lodge is a residential care home for older people. It is situated in the town of Crowborough, close to shops, local hospital and bus services.

They aim to provide each resident with a caring and secure environment and the means to live life to the full extent, with privacy, independence and dignity.

York Lodge offers a range of single and double en-suite rooms, all of which have been tastefully decorated providing that homely atmosphere. A lift enables ease of access to the rooms on the first and second floors.

All health, fire and safety standards comply with all statutory regulations. Relatives and residents are welcome to view prior to admission and family involvement encouraged in planning their care.

The home provides trained and caring staff throughout the 24-hours, ensuring the highest standards of residential care.

The peace and privacy of residents are respected but residents are encouraged to take part in numerous activities including: indoor games, regular outings to places of interest, entertainment by visiting artists, indoor and garden parties, gardening, radio and television.

Other facilities include, visiting pharmacist, dentist, optician, chiropodist, hairdressers, clergy and doctors of residents'.

My mum has been at York Lodge for a while now and all I can say is thank you for keeping her safe especially at the moment. More activities would be great to keep her stimulated; she loves singing. Thank you once again!

A residential home of about 20 residents, the staff show patience and concern to all residents.
Various group and individual activities are held to encompass the abilities of members.
Using a minibus those that are able go on short outings and afternoon tea out.
I am not around at mealtimes but the
menu displayed is varied.
Residents always look clean and tidy.
